“Bee and Pat were so great to work with and took great care of Champ! He loved walks, hanging out with their dogs, running in the yard, and chilling on the couch. I loved the morning and evening updates and pics, as well as clear communication the whole way through booking to pickup. Will definitely rebook and highly recommend!”

“Gisel is amazing! She accommodated me with watching my beloved puppy! She’s very responsive and friendly. She also sent over a video just to show well accumulated my puppy was when he got to her residence.”

“We loved Jacob and Megan! Our dog Coco loved playing with their dog! We got updated messages and pictures each day, and Coco was very happy when we picked her up! We will totally be using Jacob and Megan for our pet sitting needs again!”

“No sure where to begin, but from the moment I reached out to Jill & Chad, I appreciated how they communicated. We set up a meet & greet before the booking so my Jax could meet the family. From that moment I knew he would be okay, he had never been away from us for 6 days, so I was so nervous. Let’s just say Jax will be on the recurring schedule ( maybe he’ll get frequent flyer mileage) lol. Jill had an emergency and didn’t cancel, Chad and the boys didn’t miss a beat. They were attentive, sent pics, videos, and updated twice a day, I appreciated that so much. I felt so comfortable and was able to enjoy vacation without STRESS! I give them 5 STARS! We had an amazing experience, if your a nervous fur baby mommy like me, Jill & Chad is the CURE! AWESOMENESS!”

“Our dog seemed well taken care of and very happy when she was returned to us. Jenn has a beautiful piece of property for dogs to walk around. Both her and her husband were easy to deal with and provided daily updates”

“We have not met Brianna but her husband Isaiah was very nice. They were very accommodating with pick up of our dog when our flight got delayed. They sent us few pictures of tanner being walked, he looked happy!”

“Sampson had a great stay! I received updates & pictures while he was in her care. He was exhausted when he arrived back home, which means he had a great time. Thankful for the care he received, and will definitely be using again.”

“Outstanding dog sitter! My dog had a blast and Pamela C. was wonderful about documenting it through photos and sharing. Excellent communication and clearly a wonderful dog person. Highly recommend!”

“Sarah was amazing! It’s refreshing to meet someone who will love your pet as much as you do! From constant contact w/me regarding my pet to sending me videos and pictures of my pet’s stay w/her, I’m very pleased w/Sarah! I would highly recommend her!”

“Molly was fantastic! She was patient and welcoming despite my dog’s high energy level and kept me updated throughout the stay with great pictures and regular communication. She was very knowledgeable, well-prepared, and even taught us a few new things. It was clear that she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches, and I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog in her care. I highly recommend her and would happily book with her again!”

“Danielle took great care of my dog while I was away! Sadie was happy and well cared for when I picked her up. Danielle was responsive and sent me regular updates so I knew Sadie was happy and safe. I highly recommend Danielle!!”

About: I have had a red nose Pitbull for 15 years we just lost him after 15 years. My kids really want another dog. I feel this will be a great way to get their dog fixed as babysit other dogs. I am home all day. I'm a stay at home mom with three kids, so I will be here with the animal all day. I love to go walking I will take them with me to the trails at the park I have a fenced in yard for the dogs. I will also take them for walks. My kids would definitely play with them ball and with the rope.
“She was my first Rover dog sitter since the person I usually go to couldn’t watch my dog and I will say I was a bit nervous to drop her off at first but Nathaly eased all my concerns. She consistently sent pictures of my dog Venus while I was away, let me know when they were going on walks, her eating patterns and if she peed or poo’d. Honestly, when she told me this was one of her first sits, I was pleasantly surprised by how well she handled it also while having her own dog, Broly (sick name), and managing the two of them. I had no complaints and anyone who choose Nathaly to watch their pet, just know you will get top-of-the-line service and consistent communication. Would book again!”

“Tania is just amazing. She did everything to make our Zoey feel at home. She even extended Zoey's stay so that we could attend to an emergency. I will be using her again, and again.”

“Ceil took care of my dog for a few overnights and I could not be more happy with the care he gave. From the time I dropped him over I knew right away my dog was in good hands. He kept me updated with pictures and videos which was very warming. If there were 10 stars I woukd of gave all 10”

“Its been a busy summer for us this past month with weekend trips and a vacation. Theresa has watched our dog 3x now and has taken such good care of her each time. We're definitely recurring clients now! She is very communicative, sends pics and updates daily, and responds quickly. Her place is perfect for dogs with a beautiful yard!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Joppa
Chris and Kelly were great when our pup was having some bad allergy rides and kept us updated. There dog Gigi was a good friend to Gunner. I felt Chris and Kelly were both super responsive to messages and calls during our time away. We would absolutely use them again!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MD ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
