I am pretty flexible after 4 pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends. I had a 17 year old dog whom I administered medications and treatments for throughout his long lifespan. Additionally I have a kitten. While my dog was alive he enjoyed hugs and kisses especially after medication time! I’m currently working 12 hour shifts with a rotating schedule. My available days change every week, but I know my schedule very far out in advance. I learned how to groom, handle, and clean up after horses and dogs mostly. We then partnered these rescue animals with children who had been through traumatic situations. About: I am truly fascinated about animals of all kinds, especially the “weird” ones! Growing up in North Carolina, I naturally had a passion for the outdoors, and the creatures who inhabit it. About: I have my own dog. I've grown up with dogs. I worked at a pet store when I was a teenager, and have house/pet sat before. Although, I'm not a vet, I'm observant and will keep an eye out for issues that concern you. Pet health is important. That includes nutrition and grooming. I know some think there is such a thing as over involved pet parents, I think they're family and should be treated as such. I volunteer at my church every Thursday, Backpack Program fifth Wednesdays (when they occur) and Orphan Grain Train every other month on the third Thursday. Otherwise, I take care of my dad who has COPD. I have to be home to cook for him. And take care of my own dog. Eventually, I will allow dogs to stay with me overnight, but I want to make sure my dog and said dogs get along. So that is my availability. I have a pitbull mix. She is very good around other dogs. Especially after she gets to know them. She's not aggressive, just tends to hump when excited. All dogs will need a leash if they are coming with me. I have walking trails in my community. I have no problem walking your dogs in them. Please make sure they have up to date tick meds. Also I live with my dad he will be petting and loving any pet that spends the night. My house is two story, so if you have a senior dog that needs help just let me know.
