About: Over 7 years experience caring for all different kinds of animals in all capacities! I know how to administer medication, orally or injection, and wouldn’t mind doing so. I received my trainers certification from Catch Trainers Academy in 2024 and am well versed in dogs language and behavior. I’m also pet CPR/first aid certified through the Red Cross. I’m a full time pet sitter & dog trainer so I’m able to have an extremely accommodating schedule because of this. This allows me to be there for pet parents when needed! **House sitting is for the hours of 5pm-8am - price reflects 6 hours of care | please reach out if you have different needs** I believe in patiently caring for every animal, as every animal is different and special in their own way. Your animal will be loved on and given plenty of cuddles and treats. I’m willing to walk them wherever is convenient. If your dog just wants to chill (it’s like that sometimes) we can hang out. I can properly and gently re-crate any dogs and, if needed, put up any cats.

About: I spend my days teaching a class of 2nd graders and would love to spend my nights and weekends caring for you beloved pups. I have 3 dogs of my own and have had numerous dogs over the years! I have a great deal of experience with small breed dogs and have a sweet spot for the gentle giants. I offer dog sitting in your home, drop in visits and dog walking! All 3 of my dogs take daily meds so I am comfortable giving whatever meds your pet needs to stay comfortable. I live in the Monrovia area and would love to help care for your pup. I work in a school setting from 7-3 each day so I can drop in before school and multiple times in the evening while you’re away- and my weekends are usually completely open to meet the needs of your pups. I have open availability until the first week of August. My goal is to make your pet feel as safe, love, and cared for as possible while you’re away. My dogs are always top of mind while I’m out of town so I try and do everything I can to give you peace of mind while you’re away. Which usually means plentiful updates and photos depending on what each client requests!

About: I currently work at a veterinarian clinic and deal with all types or breeds and temperaments. I have worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility. I would help with playgroups, walks, medication administration, and bathing. I have helped with potty and crate training, including my own dogs. I have a crate and rotate situation in my own home, so I understand that not all dogs can be around others. I would help on my days off at the vet clinic. I am always off on Sundays and major holidays. I would also try to fit any pet care on my days I work as well. I have a crate and rotate situation in my home. I know to take extra care to make sure my non dog friendly dog is up prior to letting any others out. I double check to make sure the crate doors are latched. I also make sure my own gate is closed because I would hate for one of my dogs to get out.

About: Hi there! I’m an avid animal lover with a gentle, patient approach to pet care. I share my home with a sweet kitty named Evie and my rescue beagle, Mylo: a lovable goofball who keeps me humble and well‑trained. I always look after every pet with the same attentiveness, patience, and high quality care I give my own little crew. 🐾 󠁺 Before pursuing social work, I actually planned to become a veterinary technician, and that early passion for animals has stayed with me. I’ve volunteered at the Wabash animal shelter, spent years riding horses, and gained hands‑on experience with all kinds of personalities and needs. Mylo, who struggles with anxiety, has taught me a lot about de‑escalating reactivity and building trust through positive reinforcement. He also takes daily medication, so I’m very comfortable administering meds and following specific care routines. Mylo likes to think of it as his “evening treat with extra steps.” 󠁺 Over the past several years, I’ve pet‑sat for friends, family, and their extended circles. This has allowed me to care for pets of all ages and ranging needs. No matter the temperament, I adapt to each animal’s personality, mood, and boundaries. Striving to create a calm, reassuring environment where your pet feels understood is central to my approach as a caregiver. 󠁺 Please reach out if you have any questions! Your pet's comfort is my priority ❤️ My schedule is currently very open as I wrap up my internship, and I’m available for daily check‑ins, walks, and overnight stays! Please feel free to reach out with any questions, I’m always happy to connect. ❤️🐕‍🦺🎾 I love caring for pets where they feel safest, their home 🏡🐾. While I’m there, I carefully follow your pet’s routine and keep their space clean and comfortable, so you return to a happy, relaxed fur baby and a home that feels just as you left it (or better).

I reviewed a few months ago and wanted to follow up. At this point Zach has watched all my pups and I can’t stress enough how great he is. He takes the time to build with each dog, he asks a lot of questions, and genuinely cares about making sure they feel as comfortable as possible when we are gone. He is such a good dog sitter, and a really great guy in general. The only down side is now we don’t want to share him! Haha. Honestly though, your dog would be in very capable hands. Thanks Zach!

About: What sets me apart is a combination of specialized, hands-on care experience and a commitment to personalized, stress-free care. I am trained in managing complex senior care needs, including medication administration, while also focusing on positive reinforcement training to help puppies build confidence and good manners. My goal is to create a safe, loving environment where your pet feels as comfortable as they do when you are at home. I am able to stop by as many times as needed everyday throughout the week (Monday-Friday) after 3:00Pm and able to stop by as many times as needed on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) after 3:00Pm. Caring for pets requires prioritizing safety, building trust through communication, and maintaining a secure environment. I'm confident handling medication administration, injections, mobility support, and other complex care routines. At home, I care for my sweet blind dog with medical issues and a high-energy puppy, so I understand the importance of both patience and structure. I currently work Monday- Friday, but am available for all of your petcare needs! My schedule is flexible! Please let me know if adjustments are needed! I have a large yard, and a seperate room for pets if needed. Our yard is not fenced, but we have a supervised tie out, or leash walks! Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 1,871 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Hazelwood. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Hazelwood. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Hazelwood.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Hazelwood. On Rover:

  • 91% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
