Besides being kind, gentle, and thoughtful, she was very caring and gave our dog lots of attention. We had multiple pictures and videos, which were so nice. She took Oliver on walks every day, not down the street, but to a park every day. She also fed him home cooked chicken (with my approval) to try to get him to eat (picky eater!). About: I have grown up with animals of all kinds! When I was born I had two dogs and a cat! I have taken care of pretty much all types of breeds! I love animals so much that I almost became a vet! I currently work a full time job Monday-Friday, but if local I can come let dogs out during my lunch break! I also have a 2 year old German shorthair pointer who loves to meet new friends I currently have a fenced in yard but that doesn’t stop my dog and I. She has been trained on e-collar and recall, but we also are good with leashes! I can also take dogs anywhere with my safety backseat canopy for dogs!

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was young. I’m new to Rover but have helped many neighbors, friends, and family with their animals over the years. I’d love to help you keep your pets and family at ease by looking after your pet while you’re away. I work during the day Mondays-Fridays but can easily take your dog out for walks in the morning and in the afternoon once I’m back home. Weekends are usually much more flexible with plenty of time for walks and playtime. I’m comfortable with pets in my home. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, but have a fenced backyard that’s great for your pet to get some fresh air when needed.

I do have two dog parks in my neighborhood so lots of room to run around and play. I have two sweet dogs at home, a two year old bichon poodle mix 12 lb (Lulu) and an 11 year old Australian Shepard Husky Mix (Mav) that wouldn’t hurt a fly but still loves to throw a toy up in the air when he is excited! I feed the dogs separately and keep a close eye because maverick loves to snag a bite of Lulu’s food when she gets distracted.
