Mamacat is terribly nervous with new people, Patch not so much, but cautious. But I think I was more nervous for my babies, than any of us. I was so pleased with the reality of their stay. Due to all their existing issues, Teri housed them in a more isolated area of her home, by her master bedroom. So their contact was basically limited to Teri and her husband. Photos and updates came daily showing evidence of my kitties' progressive relaxation and adjustment. My heart was breathing a sigh of relief. One note. Due to the need of a more isolated & protected area, there was cigarette smoking in the farthest area where they were housed. For me this wasn't an issue at all. I only mention it since, in a similarly limiting need as mine, it might make a difference in decisions. It protected my "nervous nellies"; they were at ease, and I was pleased. In fact, I've already made a second booking!! I'm so grateful to have found Teri for watching my somewhat special needs furry family members. P.S. I saw a beautiful, healthy horse in the adjacent pasture. Then her personal cat came walking across the yard. As a cat lover I'm compelled to attempt petting all that I see. He was friendly, healthy and obviously happy. My nervousness immediately lowered a couple notches. I absolutely recommend Teri to look after your furbearing loved ones.”
About: Firstly, I LOVE animals. I've taken care of animals since I was young, but started a career out of it 4 years ago, and I can't see myself doing anything else. Ive had family and friends rely on me to care of their pets while they're away, and Ive been sure to treat them like my own pets and give them the best care possible. I have experience in medicating pets, whether that be a pill or injection. I also have experience in handling fearful pets, and I make sure to approach in the most fear-free way without causing more stress/anxiety than necessary. I work currently as a dog groomer for a company called Scenthound, where I do work full time but with me returning to college, I will be dropping my work hours. I work full time, but will be dropping to part time soon. Having a career that includes what I love to do daily is my dream, and taking care of pets is just that. My pets give my daily life purpose and meaning, because they are my world. I believe in caring for pets in the most fear-free and loving way possible, because their comfort is what matters most to me. I prioritize walking and feeding, and especially one-on-one time.

About: I volunteered at a grooming and boarding facility almost 3 years after school and over night weekends with the boarders. I’ve helped two breeders with multiple litters. I’ve worked with all dogs including puppies and seniors (with meds). I also rehome dogs for free that included multiple puppy litters. I have multiple crates so you don’t have to bring yours, extra bowls that are washed between every dog and even toys! My dogs are very well socialized and would love to be your babies new play mate but have extra room for those fur babies that want to be alone. We have a cat room and dog room here with anything your baby would need. Also 10 percent of anything I make for the week will be used to donate to the local animal shelter with supplies or even surgeries. So give your babies a great place to stay while helping other fur babies ❤️ I’m a stay at home mom so I have everyday free to give my attention to your fur babies even on holidays as we stay close to home every year. My home you have options to fit to your babies needs (ex: feeding schedules, meds, walks, play times, and even small beginner training for your pups) anything you ask of me for your fur babies will get done !

About: My love for animals is immeasurable, from exotic and unique animals to just your regular cat and dog. ever since I was a kid they have always been my passion. I have been taking care of animals for about 10 years now whether that be pet sitting for neighbors or taking care of my own fur family! And when I come to take care of your precious fur baby your home will be treated like my home and your pets will be treated just like my own!
