Makya was amazing with my two dogs. They had never been left alone but I’ve had trouble boarding them. Even Rolo who takes a bit to warm up ended up loving her. She walked them and hung out with them and really gave me peace of mind so I could enjoy my trip. I recommend her highly!!!

She was great! Communicated with me regarding any changes. She took the cutest pictures of the dogs on their walks. Always gave the dogs water on hot days and ensured they had a safe fun walk!

About: I have had a dog in my family since I was a child. I have experience with puppies and elderly dogs. We have had high energy dogs and those who just sleep all day. Feel assured I can help your dog feel at home while you're away! I do work full time, I have a dog in the house who would love to have some friends around the house. We wake early and are home by 4:30 so lots of play time in the evening. I do have an unfenced yard so if you have a runner please let me know, I do have five acres we get to explore. I have a pet in the home super friendly cocker spaniel, he is crated for sleep. We have had many dogs uncrated so that is up to you. I can follow rules whatever is needed for you to feel comfortable. We have plenty of time and space for extra four footed friends in the house! I have two little kiddos 10 and 7 years old who also help get lots of energy out. If your pet likes to run off and or is an escape artist make sure to let me know. Please do your best to answer screening questions honestly because these answers will help me best decide if we are a match moving forward with the request. Providing honest answers to my screening questions will make sure everyone is safe and happy. I want to make sure we all have a great visit.

About: I've been pet sitting for some family friends for the last 4 years and have watched dogs of various breeds for 4 different families. Watching both dogs and just recently in the last year cats. So far I've watched up to 3 dogs at a time. I'm happy to take them out for walks, make sure that they go to the bathroom, that they've eaten, medicine taken, and their water bowls are always filled. I've watched both senior dogs and young dogs. If your sweet fur child has any need any specific needs that need to be followed just let me know and I'll make sure it's done! I'll also make sure to give you updates on anything that happens! Like when I get to your place, when I'm about to leave, if your furry friend gets sick, has an accident, or just general update how well they're doing. I'm also working to get a pet cpr certification. I do ask that before I watch your furry buddy that I come over for a short visit before the scheduled date to meet your furry friend, so you and your furry friend can both trust me, and we can discuss any specific details and get a key to your house if needed. I'm a single game developer and artist who works from home. So I've got a good amount of free time throughout the day, where I can stop working and drive over to help out if your in need of any. If your someone that works an early morning shift and you need someone at your house by 6 to 7 AM at the latest to let your dogs go to the bathroom, make sure they're fed, medicine taken, or take them out for a short walk. I can be there. I can promise you that I'm a rule follower. If you tell me not to do something I won't do it. If I am unsure of something I can promise you that I'll send you a text or give you a call to get your input on whatever it is that I'm unsure of. I'll also make sure to give updates, and let you know when I've arrived and when I'm leaving. I'll also make sure to let you know if any accidents happen, and clean up any mess that may happen!

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a child - both dogs and cats! I have done it as a drop in service, staying overnight at someone else’s home, and as boarding in my own home. We love all dogs, and frequently watch our friend’s dogs of all ages. Currently live on base so must have base access for boarding! I am a stay-at-home-mom so I am home all day - your dog would never be by themselves! We let our own dogs outside to play multiple times a day, and always have water out for them. We also frequently go on walks in the evening to get that last bit of energy out. I have a fenced in yard, and 2 super friendly golden retrievers. Charlie (5) and Emma (4) are both neutered/spayed, and love other dogs. We allow them on the furniture which would extend to your pet too, but we can also crate your pet too if that’s what you prefer.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I absolutely love them! I have German Shepard mix who I have had as a rescue since he was 3 weeks old and had to bottle feed. Now he's just a huge mama's boy. He gets along with every type of dog and loves to play! I also resuced a Great Pyrenees mix named Sega and he is the sweetest thing in the world and loves having new friends to play with! I make my own dog treats. I live on post but I can pick up and drop off. I love to exercise so the dogs will be tired by the time you pick them up. I am at home most of the time so your dog will have constant love and affection! I have cared for every type of dog from small to large. I love them all! Puppies are welcome. My dogs are so gentle. The only problem you would have to worry about is how much fun you are missing out on! I am currently not working. I do have a baby so I plan my day to the minute to keep her entertained. She is an animal lover as well. I am very protective. I will treat your baby as my own and will not let them out of my sight. I have a fenced yard and gates in my home to prevent access to the kitchen to prevent accidental ingestion.

About: I love dogs and have always enjoyed taking care of them for friends and loved ones. I recently got out of the USMC and started college, a friend recommended that I try dog sitting so here I am. I have a fairly open schedule as I peruse online courses for college. I tend to exercise weekly and would love to bring any dogs with me. I attend church on Sunday mornings and sometimes have youth related activities in the afternoon but will still be able to get back to take care of any pet I sit. I let pets on some of the furniture in my home, besides that if there are any special guide lines for them I have no problem fallowing them to a T. I am experienced with multiple types of dog breeds and any needs they may have.

I cannot say enough about Haley! I was weary having a stranger come to my home to walk my dog. She made me feel at ease at our initial meeting and my dog loved her. She was very patient with her-puppy stage, leash pulling, and jumping. She gave tips on some behaviors and it was helpful. I will continue to use Haley's services!

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and currently have two French toy poodles of my own. I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities and energy levels, including puppies and older dogs that need extra patience and attention. I genuinely love spending time with animals and always make sure dogs feel safe, comfortable, cared for, and well loved while their owners are away. I’m currently a college student attending school in New York and I’m home for the summer working part time. Because of that, I have flexibility throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. When I’m not working, I’m usually available before or after shifts and can work around most schedules with good communication. I always prioritize safety, trust, and comfort when caring for dogs in both my home and a client’s home. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, medications, and any behaviors or needs each dog may have. I make sure dogs are supervised, secure during walks, and comfortable in their environment at all times. I also believe communication is important, so I like keeping owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pets are safe and doing well.

About: Hi everyone! I am an individual who enjoys being outdoors and walking dogs. I take my current two dogs for a daily 2+ mile walk! I grew up on an 80 acre farm caring for dogs (usually 3+), cats, and horses. For college, I achieved a Bachelors in Animal Science which included several pet courses that put my knowledge above the basics! I am a reliable individual who will show up on time and go above and beyond for your fur baby. Most of all, I am a trustworthy person who values communication above all else. My priority is to make sure everyone involved feels safe and valued. I make sure that I follow all instructions and will let you know how the visit/walk goes. I also love photography, so I will definitely be sending some cute pictures of your dogs! I strive to be as detail oriented and organized as possible and that shines through in my immaculate care for your pets. There is no dog too big or little and no cat that I don't want to pet! During the business day, I’m mostly open in the mornings/afternoons. I have just moved to North Carolina & don’t have full or part time employment yet. I am very flexible and don't mind taking on last minute bookings. As mentioned above, I am responsible and timely. I will care and love for your pets to the best of my ability. My fiancé is military and I currently have a visitors pass to post, so I am available to figuring that out as well. I would love to set up a meet and greet first so everyone is comfortable and safe. If not possible, let's video chat! I am available for drop ins or dog walks currently. I am excited to take on dog/cat care for daily exercise and some treat yo self money! I am a very honest and trustworthy person. I can easily let dog(s) into their backyard (supervised of course!) or fit them with their collars/harness & leashes to go for a walk. I can also crate them upon return if needed. Whatever instructions you leave, your dogs and myself will adhere to those so you know they are taken care of!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
