About: I am an animal-lover and biologist trained in animal care, so I can administer medicine and know what your pet needs. I have also worked with a very anxious dog for years, so I know how to deal with severe anxiety. I am in a gap year, so I have plenty of time to give your pet all of my attention. I have a very flexible schedule, so I can work with you depending on what you need. I like to do a Meet & Greet before I work with a new animal so I can meet them when/where they are comfortable. If I am house-sitting, I can be in your home for a large portion of the day that I am not actively caring for your pet, monitoring them and keeping them company while I work on other things.

About: I have been around animals since I was born, and wanted to be a veterinarian ever since I was three! I now attend WSU and am in my first year of veterinary school! I have worked with several different types of animals, ranging from mice and rats to horses. I currently have 3 of my own cats and 4 rats! I have a dog back at home in Tacoma too. If you need simple drop ins, pet sitting, or dog walks, I am here for you! I usually have classes from 1-5 PM, then work for a couple hours after that. I can usually stop by on weekends, late nights, or mornings/ early afternoons to take care of your pet! I will regularly check on the well-being of the animal. Not only will your pet be fed and taken out regularly, but any mess that we might make will be cleaned up better than we found it!

About: Currently I’m a vet student at WSU! I’ve just wrapped up my first year of vet school. My ultimate goal is to go into large animal medicine. I have lived with cats my entire life and have worked with dogs throughout high school and into college. I am currently fitting in part time animal care into my daily routine. It is something I enjoy doing and is an activity I enjoy making time for. In a clients home I would be ready and willing to feed pets and let pets outside. I would also be willing to play with pets and take them on walks.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 10. I have cared for a blind senior cat as well as a cat with hip problems, which required patience, close monitoring, and adapting the environment to keep them safe and comfortable. I currently help care for my friend’s senior dog, who also has hip and dental issues, so I’m familiar with administering gentle support, maintaining comfort, and being attentive to mobility limitations and pain cues. In addition, I have experience caring for younger animals, including kittens and puppies around 12 weeks old. This has given me practice with high-energy care, feeding routines, supervision, and basic early-life behavior management. Overall, I’m comfortable working with both senior pets and young animals, and I adjust my care style based on each pet’s specific health, energy level, and personality needs. Pet care fits into my routine pretty easily because I currently have a part-time job with a very variable schedule. Since my shifts change from week to week, I’m generally flexible and available most days with some notice. This flexibility allows me to adjust around pet care responsibilities like feeding, walks, check-ins, or overnight stays when needed. I’m also used to planning my time in a way that ensures animals are consistently cared for, even on busier days, so I can reliably fit pet care into my weekly schedule. In my home, I would make sure any pet is cared for in a safe, comfortable, and supervised environment. While my apartment doesn’t have a backyard, there is a fenced-in area nearby where dogs can run, play fetch, and get exercise. I also have a car, so if the owner is comfortable with it, I can take the dogs to a dog park for additional enrichment and activity. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions are followed closely. I’m also very mindful of respecting the home itself. I was raised to always leave a place cleaner than I found it, so I make sure everything is kept tidy, organized, and exactly as I found it. Communication is also important to me, so I always update owners and let them know right away if anything seems off or if there are any concerns about their pet’s health, behavior, or well-being.

About: I’ve grown up with animals of all kinds in my home. While I currently only have a cat, I’ve been the owner of several dogs, a couple snakes, a bearded dragon and I’m not afraid of really any type of animal. I have a pretty open schedule, single mom to a couple of boys and pet mom to one sweet cat. I love snuggling any animal. So I live in an apartment but very frequently go out to trails and parks with my kids, I would have no problem including your pet!

About: I have house sat many people’s dogs, staying in their homes full-time or just a few daily visits for a week at a time. I will be in town for the next year. I am a recent WSU graduate who loves cats and dogs. I have lots of availability throughout the week at various hours of the day while I figure out my future in Pullman! I have fed dogs, walked them twice a day, played with them, and slept with them in client’s homes. I have stayed with dogs during holidays with fireworks and provided a safe environment for them to relax.

I have a fenced backyard with room for play, I have an ambitious four-year-old doggy so your dog will never be alone. We have a dog door, during the day so there is always access to outside! I also have a 42-inch crate that's door remains open if your dog prefers to chill out or in crates. it is just a fun experience.

About: I work at a doggy daycare and have always had family dogs/cats at home! I am used to doing everything needed from giving medication, to feeding. I also worked at a Veterinarian teaching hospital in pullman, which helped me learn more about dogs, cats and other animals! I am a college student and have a current full time job, so this is a fun and exciting thing to do on my free-time I can recognize signs of distress in dogs more, and know how to give them the love and care they need! I have worked with dogs for almost half a year at a daycare so I have experience outside of my own dogs.
