About: I am a Certified Veterinary Technician and have experience in pet sitting and the veterinary field for the past 20 years. I owned a pet sitting business for 5 years (2008 - 2012) and experience in general practice, emergency, specialty, and shelter medicine. Having a medical background allows me to pick up on medical issues and emergencies in a timely fashion, allowing for treatment if necessary. I am also able to administer medications as needed. I treat others' dogs the same way I treat my own pets and keep daily routines as close to their normal as much as possible. I work full time at a clinic and part time at the local humane society. About: I have always had a dog in my house growing up, so i understand the basics of dog care. Currently I work at a dog daycare. I've been working there for 2 years and it has helped me understand more about dog behaviors, and care for them efficiently and effectively. About: I have 35 plus years of taking care of dogs. I love our 2 dogs and they are part of our family. We also do have barn cats, a hobby farm with pigs, goats, chickens, and barn cats. I have a family and children and also help coach sports for them, so just need to work around their schedule (their activities are in the evening and on weekends, so those times are more limited for me).
