“Alysha was great with Spooky! She took the time to make him feel comfortable and cared for. Amazingly she got him to come and greet her when she came for his visits and he allowed her to brush him! Alysha was timely, through and professional. I would recommend her services to anyone who needs a compassionate and caring pet sitter. I will use again!”
2. Nikki B.
“Nikki did a terrific job with my three cats while we were away for 5 days. They are all very hesitant around new people, but she worked hard to earn their trust. It was so nice to get the daily updates and pictures from her drop ins. Made me feel so much better knowing all was well with my kitties!”
3. Camille S.
“This was my first River experience and Camille made it an excellent one! I needed late night help over the weekend at the last second and Camille was quick to respond. I truly appreciated her taking time out of her weekend nights to come meet and care for our dog! I appreciated that she sent pictures and gave me updates on how the visits went (although I’m sure that’s part of the Rover process). We will definitely be using her down the road!”

11. Maeve K.
“Could not recommend Maeve enough! I always feel at ease leaving my pet, Winslow, in her exceptional care. I leave knowing he will be well-cared for. She goes above and beyond to make sure his needs are met, sending regular updates which makes time away less stressful for both of us. This loving care is reflected in the excitement Winslow expresses upon Maeve's arrival!”

About: My husband and I owned Dog Guard Out of Sight Fencing for 20 years before selling the business to our son and daughter in law and entering semi-retirement. In that business we installed and serviced underground pet fences and trained owners and their pets to use the system. Owning this business gave me extensive experience with all breeds of dogs as well as cats. In addition, I have been a dog owner my entire life. I currently have one dog, Elliott, who is a 4 year old Chocolate Lab who loves other dogs! (he likes cats too if they like him!) I am semi-retired so I am home a lot! I have a part-time job at a local winery and work a few hours per week which allows me a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I live 2.5 acres so there is plenty of room for dogs to run! I am flexible with the dog's needs and owners preferences. I strive to follow the same rules at my house as the dog has at home. I have a dog who loves to play with other dogs!

14. Shannon B.
“We are happy with Shannon caring for our 2 cats for the week we were gone. We received an updated photo of Mango and Carley each day. Mango was comfortable with her and even got on her lap at one point. We would have her to care for our cats in the future.”
15. Emily H.

17. Avery C.
About: I’ve always had cats and dogs within my home. I have 3 year old dogs, which I helped potty train. I also have 2 kittens that I got litter trained. I have helped wean puppies off of mom to caring for dogs in end of life care. I am currently attending graduate school. Therefore, I am available on the weekends and Tuesdays. Pet care is something that brings me joy and would like to add it to my schedule. I pay attention to my surroundings at all times to make sure myself and your dog is safe. I always watch out for cars and other dogs when walking. I also would be comfortable with kennels and providing food and water.

About: I do my best to get dogs outside. Cats, I have to decide whether they like attention or not or listen to their family about how they are best cared for. I am a guest teacher full-time during the school year. DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR I AM AT WORK M-F from 7am-4pm Please consider this detail, if looking for housesitting or dog walking, which I am not available for during those hours. Especially during summer I have a wide-open schedule during the school year only before or after school. I am currently not caring for any pets in my home, but that may change in the future depending on my children’s wishes and a few other variables.
