About: I grew up with 4 dogs and 8 cats on a farm, so I learned how to take care of animals at a very young age. Throughout my 28 years of life, I've been lucky enough to love and take care of several varieties of animals: cats, dogs, horses, bunnies, exotic birds, and fish - many being rescues. My dream has always been to work in a Veterinarian office, which I accomplished and obtained so many skills just within a 2 year span at Veterinary Specialists of BHM. It would be an honor to have the opportunity to take care of your pets in a time of need. It is truly my passion! About: I had 2 golden retrievers growing up where my love for animals became even stronger when I got my own pups as an adult. I am a huge softy so my husband knows my heart cannot help but to take in a sweet stray to give it a bath, food, and find it a forever home. I LOVE puppies and will love on them like they are mine. We recently took in Ollie as a foster that we found as a stray. With no intentions on keeping him, we noticed a huge hole in his leg, needing attention so we took him to the vet. He is now healed but we can’t let him go so…he I guess he has found his furrever home 🤦🏼♀️❤️lol I am currently a certified nurse practitioner. My husband is a teacher. I absolutely love my own pups as if they were my children and have been extremely blessed with the ones we have. (9yrs, 7yrs, & 1yr) 🥹 we take them on vacations and walks with us. My pets are off leash trained; however, I will will care for your pet in whichever way you prefer. If your animal does better on a leash, then I will be using a leash. Every animal is different and only the owner truly knows their own pet, so whatever makes you feel more safe is understandable to me. If you prefer to meet me before coming in your house, I completely understand. If you do not have time to meet, please know I am here for you and your pup. I’m a firm believer in NOT doing something you don’t want done to you or isn’t morally right.
About: I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility in Pelham, AL. I have also worked at a daycare facility in South Carolina and dog sat for many families I met during my time there. I have a miniature dachshund and have had pit-mixes and one English bulldog. I'm experienced and know how to easily handle and deal with any breed of dog so I have no limitations with breeds or size. I love being able to care and love on all dogs so your pup will get all the love and attention they deserve while you're gone!
