With about six years of experience in the veterinary field, I currently work as a receptionist at a clinic in Hoover, AL, and have been pet sitting for about three years. I am a proud owner of four dogs, and we absolutely love having extra company and making new friends! I have extensive experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, ensuring that they feel at home with us. I currently work full time, but I still make sure to allow plenty of time for playing and interacting with your pets! I am available for drop offs and pickups after 6 pm during weekdays. I have a 6ft chain link fence for potty breaks and play times and your pet is never left outside unattended. My 4 dogs loves making new friends but if your pet seems a bit shy about meeting my dogs, I’ll separate them and rotate the rooms with my dogs and your pet. This way, everyone can get some love and time to explore the house, and your pet will feel more comfortable. They can even treat my home as their own and are welcome on the furniture and bed for snuggles. During feeding time, I feed each pet in their own crate or in separate rooms to prevent any accidents.

About: As a father of 2 corgis, I’m no stranger to the need for excessive walks, playtime, puzzles, you name it! Once our first dog was trained, the second was a breeze. We have created routines for morning walks, afternoon and evening playtimes, and puzzles where they seem necessary. We live near a dog park which we frequent daily and live in a neighborhood that we picked because of its safety for my wife and I to care for our own dogs. I work part time evenings and weekends. Week days I am available all mornings and even some afternoons. Weekends I typically work Saturday but have some flexibility. In my home, we have a fenced backyard and an already dog proofed home. With our two dogs, we have created an environment we are comfortable sharing with other dogs. Whether you want them to share the space and keep each other company or stay separated, we have plenty of space to accommodate either one. Our neighborhood is very quiet and safe for walking if playing the yard or home doesn’t suit the dogs. If neither of those are their preference, we live by a nice dog park with plenty of space, agility toys, and we of course bring our own toys as well.

About: I’ve taken care of various breeds of dogs for several years. Currently I own a heeler/pit mix, a yellow lab, and a Boston terrier mix. I am open to sitting for any breed. I am currently working part-time for a local Doggy Daycare so I am available more often than not! I thoroughly enjoy spending time with pets so I tend to make it a priority. This means that your fur baby is allowed on my furniture, including my bed. If your fur baby is a dog, they will get frequent trips outside to potty, play, and go for walks! I do not punish animals, I instead reward them for good behaviors. You’re guaranteed to be re-united to an extremely happy and fulfilled pet by the end of my service!
