“Amiee was great, from the first meeting to actually booking the stay. Marley was a little nervous at first, Amiee was very patient with Marley as she soon calmed down and began to settle in. Amiee was flexible with her time very accommodating, communicated with me via text and pics. Marley was cared for just like her own, there was plenty of room for her to run and play around the yard. Yes! I would recommend and rebook with Amiee anytime.”

“They were amazing!! Super attentive, caring and kept us updated with pictures the whole time. Our pets were happy and well take care of. We’ll definitely book with them again. Highly recommend!! 🐾 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”

About: I’ve had dogs throughout my entire life, but currently I have a 7 year old golden retriever I treat like my child! I’ve always trained all of my dogs myself and participated in many safety training classes regarding training. I am currently in graduate school and unemployed, so mostly it’s just me and my golden at home most days, so I have plenty of spare time to help in your pet’s care! I am open to boarding and house sitting, but also happy to do drop-ins or just walks! I have a big fenced in yard and a sweet golden who loves making new friends to keep your pup company! I have plenty of room to crate your dog if needed.
“As dog parents for the first time, we didn't know what to except leaving Curie for a week! Rachel took care of everything. She always kept us updated and sent an occasional pic when we missed her. Surprisingly Curie came back calmer, more obedient, with less biting habit. I'll surely recommend her service. Thanks Rachel.”

“Marcie LOVED spending the week with Kelsey and her dogs. And from the pictures I could tell she was spoiled rotten and we will absolutely book her again. I am hesitant to post a review because I don’t want her all booked up when I need her!”

“Amy was wonderful with our two dogs! She very clearly spoiled them. I can tell by the pictures that they had a great time. Especially out in the back yard! She was also very accommodating with our schedule which was very much appreciated!”

“David and his wife were kind, thoughtful, and communicative throughout our entire trip. They have a beautiful home (with a big fenced in yard for zoomies) that your pets will love. They also sent lots of pictures and let me know how the doggies were doing every day. I would highly recommend David to anyone looking for a reliable and loving dog sitter! 🐶❤️🐶”

“Tatiana was awesome! I got lots of updates with pictures and videos and communication and I knew my Daisy was in good hands! Daisy had so much fun playing and she got lots of cuddles. We will definitely book again!”

“Barrie kept my little pup while I left the country, and she was so accommodating and sent updates. It is obvious that she loves dogs, and it looked like Millie had a great time!”

“I cannot say enough amazing things about Jennifer. She was welcoming from the very start. Murphy made a new friend in her pup Milo they took walks, played in the creek, wrestled in the yard…. all the fun stuff! Jennifer sent photos of all their adventures which just made it so much easier to relax on our vacation. I highly recommend Jennifer & her family. We definitely want Murphy to visit them again!”

“Michelle was excellent, our normal dog sitter bailed on us last minute after saying she would accept the job. I contacted Michelle last minute and she accepted our request instantly. A true life saver. Thank god for Michelle, she saved the day. Michelle was extremely friendly about it. I can not thank her enough. She has a wonderful fenced in backyard where the dogs can run. Her own dog Spetka got along great with GG, it was was very nice to know she had a good doggy friend to play with. Not to mention the awesome friendly sitter, her husband was an amazing guy also. I will continue to use Michelle in the future and would absolutely recomend her to anyone. Thank you again so Michelle for your life saving help. ?”

“We have never had a bad booking on Rover BUT Chyra is the best, BAR NONE! She provides great instructions to set expectations. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND treating a hot spot that appeared, she gave me something to read explaining my dog's behavior AND she even went to the store for us to get some extra supplies we needed. If all of that doesn't say enough, i couldn't get Chadwick to leave with me... HOW EMBARRASSING! It goes without saying that we've found our forever sitter because the icing on the top is she's :10 minutes away from us!”

“This was our first time using a dog sitter and Sarah was fantastic with our dog. She was very well taken care of while we were on vacation. We will definitely be booking with Sarah again.”

“Kristi is phenomenal! She took my babies in last minute. She gave them their own huge room with a ginormous cat tree. They were extremely comfortable and had no stress whatsoever. She cared for them as I would, I have no doubt they were comfortable in their home away from home. I never worried about their food or their environment. I would most certainly recommend her and use her again a million times over. Thank you for everything Kristi!!!”

“I highly recommend Harold for anyone looking for a caring boarding experience. I felt completely at ease leaving my dog with him. I appreciated the frequent photos and updates which let me know my dog was fine. He made sure my dog felt comfortable and safe and loved during her stay.”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
