“Super kind and very responsive! My pup went right to her at drop off and didn’t look back 🥹 she sent photos and updates. Kobe was so calm and chill when I picked him up.”

“Another 5 Star stay for my pup!! As usual Ray was amazing and LogiQ thoroughly enjoyed himself. Please don’t hesitate to give him a try - he’s always super accommodating, which is insanely appreciated.”

“Tatiana was a great host for Wallace! She was so kind and came to the rescue in short notice. Would highly recommend her to anyone with a dog who loves kids and would definitely repeat.”

“Our dog had the best time with Leslie and her dogs. She was so well taken care of had lots of outside play. I enjoyed seeing many wonderful pictures. I would definitely book again.”

“Barrie is awesome. She’s shared videos and pics regularly, which is priceless when away from my baby. She was so patient and loving with him when it rained (he’s so fearful of storms) She created new game's that Garrison and I now play. I could see the love she showered my baby with from the video’s and pics. Garrison will be back to see her!!!!”

About: I’ve had dogs throughout my entire life, but currently I have a 7 year old golden retriever I treat like my child! I’ve always trained all of my dogs myself and participated in many safety training classes regarding training. I am currently in graduate school and unemployed, so mostly it’s just me and my golden at home most days, so I have plenty of spare time to help in your pet’s care! I am open to boarding and house sitting, but also happy to do drop-ins or just walks! I have a big fenced in yard and a sweet golden who loves making new friends to keep your pup company! I have plenty of room to crate your dog if needed.
“Ashley was awesome with our two Boxer girls! Mags and Su had a blast playing in the big fenced back yard & with her pup and senior Boxer. I honestly think Su is going to have separation anxiety from Freya, she loved playing with her so much!! Ashley sent daily updates with photos/videos. We would highly recommend, especially if you have a Boxer, trusting Ashley with your fur babes!”

“Harold was so great!! Had a last minute need for some help with my pup, and so glad I chose Harold! Extremely accommodating for my GSP after a move from VA to BHM. Wasn’t ideal but Harold gave me the peace of mind (and CONSTANT updates) that helped me and my dog transition a semi-cross county move. 10/10 recommend.”

“I’m so grateful for the wonderful care and love you gave to to Khaleesi. You treated her like family, and it gave me such peace of mind knowing she was in such amazing hands. Thank you for being so kind, attentive, and thoughtful, it truly means the world.”

“We had a family emergency & Whitney accepted our puppers with a few hours notice!! She & her family are excellent with caring for others’s furry family members!! We appreciate y’all so much!! Thank you!!”

“Cody watched our dog for a pretty long time while we were away. He made our pup feel right at home the entire time as we could tell from all the consistent updates and pictures! He got plenty of walks, playtime, and some lazy time on the couch of course! Cody was responsive and easy to communicate with. We were so glad to have a sitter we could depend on while traveling. Cody is the best!”
“Brittney was awesome with our Sadie! She was kind, responsive, and sent pictures every day! Brittney was the best sitter possible for our girl and made us feel very comfortable leaving her. We will definitely be utilizing Brittney’s services in the future and highly recommend her!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
