About: Hi there! I’m an animal lover living in a multi-family home with a friendly 3-year-old Shih Tzu mix. We have an unfenced backyard for quick bathroom visits, and live close to plenty of parks where your pup can enjoy some leashed walks and outdoor time (lars anderson, jamaica pond, the greenway). I work from home on Fridays, and on Monday through Thursday, I’m in the office but always come home during lunch for a walk, followed by a longer activity when I get home. Dogs are allowed to freely hang out in my home, including couch/bed while I am home. Depending on the dog's comportment and their guardian's wishes, I would crate the visiting dog(s) while out of the home, or separate them using gates in separate rooms for ensured safety of your dog and my own. Please note: I require a meet and greet for any new boarding requests to ensure our dogs get along and stay safe during their stay. Not required for repeat stays.

About: I’ve always loved animals, especially dogs, and have taken care of neighborhood pets for years! I am friendly, attentive, and excited to meet your pets! Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I currently have entire afternoons free (after 1:30pm) on weekdays and mostly open weekends, so I have lots of time to care for your furry friends. About: I’ve had my own dog since I was 10, and she’s my best friend. I have walked and taken care of dogs of all sizes, and other pets as well! I have also taken care of my sisters dog since we’ve had her, for 2 years while she was at college. I have watched over multiple dogs in my family, including two new puppies. I am a full time student at UMass Boston, so I am very free on the weekends and less so during the week. I have time on MWF and Tuesday after 2. When taking care of dogs within my own home, I always review the rules with the pet parent and make sure they are comfortable with my own to house their pets. When traveling to another clients home, I make sure to understand how access would work and if there is anything that needs to be done before after and during my stay to help them.

About: I follow the guidelines of the owner. I am "present" (not distracted) with the dog. I am consistent and caring. I am very aware of the dog's behavior in the range of other pets and people, and adjust our path and pace accordingly. I am recently retired and my scheduled is flexible between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. unless I have scheduled time on the water to sail. Currently, I walked my neighbors dog. When I enter, I am careful to close the door immediately and take time to greet the dog (Mazie, female). I am attentive to details when putting on her harness for both security and comfort. While walking, I follow the instructions of the owner relative to the proximity of other dogs since Mazie is a rescue and can become agitated by other dogs. Maize heels very well for me while we walk and I believe she appreciates that I do not listen to music or use my phone while we walk. I converse with Mazie to ensure she feels companionship as well as experiences exercise.

About: I have had dogs all my life. I love spending time with them and give them my full attention. I enjoy long walks and playing mental games with them. Early morning and evening during week days. On Weekends I can have more flexibility. I can take care of your dog for several hours if needed. Water always available. Food depending on the time of the day. I set limits but give them my full attention when it’s play time. I Like to provide them with mental and physical activities during the day.

I make sure they have fresh water and clean spaces, including litter boxes for cats or clean bedding for dogs. Since I live right next to the park, your pets will also get plenty of fresh air, exercise, and fun outdoor time during their stay or walks. When visiting pets in their own homes, I respect their space and follow their established routines carefully. I ensure they get their meals, exercise, and any medication they need. I also keep the home tidy, including cleaning litter boxes or picking up after dogs, so everything stays fresh for when their owners return. Communication is key—I send updates and photos to keep owners reassured that their pets are happy and well cared for.
