I’m comfortable with senior pets and medical needs, including administering daily insulin and following strict feeding schedules and dietary guidelines. I work from home and have my own dog (a very friendly Sheltie), so I'm always around to look after your pup! I work from home so I have plenty of time and flexibility to look after your pup! About: Hello, my name is Stacy and I’m 34 years old. I joined Rover because I love spending time with pets but I’m not in a position to have my own. Since having joined Rover, I’ve worked with reactive dogs, puppies a couple of weeks old, intact dogs and dogs having undergone surgery. I’ve also either pet sat or lived with Labrador Retrievers, Pugs, Poodles, Chihuahuas, Old English Bulldogs, Shih Tzus, Schnauzers, Irish Wolfhounds, Pitbulls, German Shepherds and others. This is aside from the cats, reptiles and tarantulas I’ve dealt with. As of April 2026, my longest stay (over two weeks) has been for a dog with cancer. It’s been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I’m available to sit, do drop-ins and walks every day of the week. I’m a small business owner in a separate industry and grateful for the flexibility. I generally do not wear shoes in people’s houses and I always clean up after myself if staying for several hours or more. I may bring house slippers to wear inside based on the circumstances. I am slightly anemic so I ask that you keep your place at a reasonable temperature. You may also provide a few blankets.
