About: I have had the pleasure of taking care of and being around pets my entire life! Since I was a child, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, birds, and fishes as well as other large animals! Over the years many friends, family members and neighbors have relied on me to care for their pets. I have over 6 years of experience with all dog breeds. I currently have a two-year-old Yellow Lab who is the sweetest pup I have ever had. She is extremely friendly and loving and is great with other dogs and cats. I currently have a pretty open schedule with my online classes, so I am home most of the time, dogs have access to the backyard at almost all times and are always being watched and monitored for safety. Dogs are taken on walks to nearby parks and around the neighborhood and rides around to the dog park. dogs are fed separately and are fed on a schedule and always have access to lots of fresh water. I have a fenced yard and a pool in the back yard. I am able to crate your dog if needed or per your preference. My lab is always ready to play or nap with your pup and will always keep them company!
About: I've been caring for animals for over 10 years and have three cats of my own, including one that's about to be 6 years old. I also previously had two dogs and have years of experience caring for family members' dogs while they're away on week-long vacations. In addition to caring for my own pets, I volunteer with a local cat rescue, where I've worked with cats of all ages and personalities. I'm comfortable feeding, walking, cleaning litter boxes, administering oral medications if needed, and making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved. I'll treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own. I’m a college student, so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I’m also available for house-sitting excluding Tuesday evenings due to my class schedule! In addition, I can commute to Napa as I regularly go into town! I always follow each pet's usual routine to help them feel comfortable and reduce stress while you're away. I'll make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of exercise and playtime, bathroom breaks or clean litter boxes, and lots of love and attention. About: I’m the person you’ll find in the corner at a party hanging out with the dog (or cat). I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, have experience pet sitting and walking, and adopted both of my pets. I also trained my dog, Pinto, myself, so I have hands-on experience with training, routines, and plenty of different dog behaviors. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I’ll always treat yours with the same care and attention I give my own. I also haven’t met a pet I couldn’t win over yet! I recently moved to the area from Washington, so my schedule is currently very flexible! I’m especially available during the week for anyone who needs someone to check in on their buddy while they’re at work. Whether it’s a midday walk, potty break, playtime, or just some company, I’m happy to make their day a little less lonely while you’re away. I’ll treat your home and pets with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, walks, or just keeping them company. I’ll always make sure your pet is safe and comfortable and your home is left just as I found it. I’m also happy to send plenty of photos and updates so you know how your buddy is doing!
About: From pups to senior dogs and kitten to elderly cats, all pets deserve a little extra pampering when their people are away! I look forward to meeting your pet or pet crew and helping them live their best lives! I work a variety of odd jobs so I'm available when needed for your pets! During a typical pet sitting stay I aim to spend nor more than 2-8 hours away from the house depending on the needs of the animals. Keeping animals in a familiar routine is my main focus. Whatever their usual daily schedule looks like (feeding times, walks, bedtime, etc) is what I try to recreate. I have experience administering medication if needed and am happy and able to provide walks as far as your pet enjoys.
About: I grew up around all sorts of farm animals and had many dogs and cats that were truly family! I hope to provide that feeling too! I work full time in marketing but do remote work Monday, Thursday and Friday! I’m also occasionally free on the weekends and can definitely take care of any fur babies! I live in a studio! It is tidy, clean and open concept so there’s more than enough room! My cat loves heights so there is some taller tables and such for your pet and as for Dogs no worries! My cat loves dogs ( and he also plays fetch lol)

Jennifer is kind, responsible, responsive, and reliable.”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Jacksnipe. On Rover:
- 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
