“Allyson is great with our pups, super reliable, and has a lot of experience with animals, which gave us a lot of confidence leaving our senior dogs with her! Will definitely be using her again!”

“Gianna was an amazing sitter for our cat Eli while we took a short trip out of town. Always arrived promptly at the times to feed and take care of Eli and from the looks of the pictures, he got Cody with her very quickly!! We will definitely be using her services again.”

“Tasha did drop-in visits for my elderly dog Brewster and was excellent. Senior dogs need patience and attention to the little things, and she never missed a beat, stuck to his routine, was gentle with him, and kept me updated every visit. Brewster was relaxed and happy, and I never had to wonder how he was doing. If you have an older dog, Tasha is the one. Highly recommend.”

“Darlene took excellent care of our senior cat while we were out of the country. She’s easy to work with and kept us posted on Spencer’s well being. Recommend her highly!!”

“Always a PLEASURE with Mikayla!! Sh is very KNOWLEDGEABLE with our pets! She helps me with handling the dogs and EXTRA ABOVE and BEYOND tasks. I will continue to tip Mikayla for ALL she does…it’s my PLEASURE! See ya 👋🏾 Tuesday Mikayla!”
“Kristin was very communicative with updates on our cats. She was very sweet and took care of them very well. One of our cats who is a senior and is shy took to liking her very much. Also very prompt, on time with each visits, and great with the taking care of each individual cat's needs. As a first time user on rover, she was a gem.”

Dogs are taken on walks to nearby parks and around the neighborhood and rides around to the dog park. dogs are fed separately and are fed on a schedule and always have access to lots of fresh water. I have a fenced yard and a pool in the back yard. I am able to crate your dog if needed or per your preference. My lab is always ready to play or nap with your pup and will always keep them company!
About: I’m the person you’ll find in the corner at a party hanging out with the dog (or cat). I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, have experience pet sitting and walking, and adopted both of my pets. I also trained my dog, Pinto, myself, so I have hands-on experience with training, routines, and plenty of different dog behaviors. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I’ll always treat yours with the same care and attention I give my own. I also haven’t met a pet I couldn’t win over yet! I recently moved to the area from Washington, so my schedule is currently very flexible! I don’t won’t outside anywhere so this is my only source of income and passion and hobby First we will meet and spend some alone time with your pet so we can get to know each other better. After getting comfortable, we will meet other pets in a secure environment slowly and steady. After we are tired of playing, we will kennel feed your pet only because we don’t want your pet to eat other dogs food due to any allergies they may have to be on the safe side. Play time encouraged several times a day. Walking service is up to you but we do offer dog walking for little extra charge.
About: I've been a pet owner/lover all of my life. I rescued and rehabilitated my orange tabby from the age of 4 weeks old, when we found him in the street close to death. I work from home and have a large back yard so I can walk/let your pups out all day long, and give them a great space to play and roam in. If I am boarding I am available to walk/feed your animals morning through night, and they will have a large yard to roam and be free in. In warmer and colder weather your animals will be inside, in either AC, or heating. Whatever the weather is feeling that day. I can walk/feed your animals in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and can take them to parks as needed. As of September 2026, there are 2,733 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Green Valley. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Green Valley. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
