About: Me and my sister live in a house with a fenced in yard and doggy daycare space in the back. We prioritize being home as much as possible when boarding and aim for outdoors breaks every 2-3 hours. Our specialty is puppies, working dogs and dogs that could use a highly active day, but we love a good movie night and cuddles too! Currently I am a work-from-home and there is an adult present all 24 hours in the single family residence house daily. I share a house with my sister and there are no children or pets in the house. We are available to take care of your pups daily while you're at work or for short term / long term boarding ! I pride myself on creating a trusting relationship with everyone I board for. One aspect I offer is frequent pictures and messages on how the my time with pet is. I build in safety and trust by keeping you updated as much as you’d like with daily pictures and outdoors playtime every 4 hours !
“Loved Maria! Kept me updated the entire time. She sent me pictures and was so friendly! She took her on walks and made sure to keep her entertained through the day. My baby was well taken care of, I will definitely book again in the future. Thank you!!”

“Stephanie did an amazing job watching my 8 week old puppy. I utilized Stephanie's services for 4 weeks consecutively because was so good my lil Lola. I loved that she communicated with fast responses whenever I would reach out to her. She is such a sweet young lady and my lil Lola truly enjoyed her time with Stephanie. Stephanie was also very flexible with our schedule.”

“Remy did an outstanding job as a dog sitter for my poodle, Max. From the moment we met, I could tell she had a natural rapport with animals. She was incredibly gentle and attentive, making sure that Max was comfortable and well cared for throughout her time with him. I appreciated how she kept me updated with photos and messages, which really put my mind at ease while I was away. It was clear that Max was happy and well taken care of under her watch. I love the care and dedication Remy showed, and I will definitely be returning to her for future dog-sitting needs. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter!”

About: I have been a dog sitter for seven years. I started off by taking care of dogs in my neighborhood and then started working in animal care. I care for every dog as if they are my own. I am always available for dog boarding, including last minute requests. I am free all summer, so your dog will be getting my full attention. Dogs are monitored at all times, including outside. I provide loving and tailored care to meet every dog's unique needs, from high energy play to gentle senior walks. I have over three years of experience working with animals in a professional setting as well as volunteering at shelters. I have a fenced yard, toys, and dogs who love to play.

About: What sets me apart? I bring the same level of care, patience, and attentiveness to pets as I do in my career as a certified caregiver. With experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs, I know how to tailor each visit to your pet’s needs—whether that means house training support, medication reminders, gentle walks, or belly rubs on demand. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. As someone who works flexible hours in caregiving, I’ve built my schedule around helping others—including their furry family members! Whether it’s early morning walks, midday drop-ins, or evening feedings, I always make time to give pets the love and attention they deserve. I offer a clean, pet-friendly space with plenty of room to relax and play. Pets get one-on-one attention, regular walks, and tons of cuddles. I only accept a limited number of pets at a time to ensure everyone gets the attention they need. No matter the setting, your pet will be treated like family—with patience, love, and consistency. 🐾💛

About: I've had many pets throughout my childhood so I have experience with pets at different stages of their lives from pups to seniors. Although I am not affiliated with any rescue I have assisted rescuing dogs from time to time. I have helped my mom with her disabled dog that is paralyzed from waist down. We rescued this dog from the streets when he was emaciated and he brought his health back up, so I also have experience with special needs dogs. Pets safety is a priority. I currently have one senior poodle and a one year old beagle mix pup with tons of energy. I bring my own water bottles, water bowl, poop bags and dog treats for walks. I do not provide leashes I am currently working full time 7 to 3:34 and my husband works night shift, so hes home during the day. Someone is always home and on weekends I'm always home. I have a fully fenced yard with a dog happy to play with your pup. Even if the yard is fenced your pet will not be outside without supervision.

“Smokey enjoyed his time staying with Rhianna, her husband, and their pup at daycare this week! He was excited to go to daycare each day which made me feel good because he is usually very anxious when he is away from me or my partner. Thank you to Rhianna for providing a fun and safe place for Smokey this week! Looking forward to next time!”

“Darius was a god sent. I was visiting Houston from Dallas with my husband and puppy. I stayed at a dog friendly hotel but even going for breakfast made my puppy very anxious alone in the room we decided to use over for the first time and I urgently contacted Darius. He was very prompt to respond and accommodated everything. He was very vigilant for for example I feed my dog fresh food, which I forgot to tell him, but he had already put the food in the fridge. He has a very sweet and loving puppy, and I could visibly see mylo happy. If I ever returned to Houston, Darius is my guy. Milo has never been around strangers, but he was extremely comfortable with Darius. He also sent updates every so often and was prompted to answer anything I asked. I don’t think twice.”

“Shanieka did amazing with our boys, our pitty mix can be selective with people but she took the time to allow him to get comfortable. He ended up loving her! So glad to have found someone that treats the boys like their own☺️”

“Brittany was amazing! She kept our fur baby happy and occupied! We were lucky to have found her with such short notice. He slept like a champ afterwards and had a great day! Highly recommend.”

“Delilah was amazing, very good with our fur baby, very experienced. But most important very tolerating and understanding with our little Tornado Raadi. Followed our instructions exactly and kept us updated as needed and or requested. Would highly recommend her.”

“Kimberly was great with Gibson, and even was able to accommodate when I was unable to pick him up at his original time. I can’t recommend a more kind and trusting sitter! Thank you, Kimberly!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
