Being around dogs is a form of therapy for me; I also give the best chin and belly rubs a pet could ask for... so it's a win-win! I grew up in a dog household. I will properly care for your pet as if they were my own. My schedule is very flexible and I am open to working with your busy schedule and your pets' needs. I have experience with many kittens and full grown cats and puppies as well as elderly dogs. I am learning more about this industry and pets everyday and loving every day of it! Brittany handled a situation with another dog that was off leash very effectively! My dog does not like other dogs, and she picked up my dog to avoid a potentially dangerous situation. Overall she took very good care of their needs, even walking them a couple times a day when she could have just let them in the fenced yard. About: I've worked for a dog walking company, wrangled ferrets, and outsmarted wily cats. With nearly a decade of pet sitting experience I'm ready for just about anything your furry friend can throw at me. I'm adept at problem solving and can meet your pet where they need me to be. I have experience administering medication and coaxing the anxious and stubborn out of their shells. I am free most days in the morning and the afternoon if you need a walker quickly. My schedule is flexible and I am willing to work with clients to meet their needs. I will follow any instructions clients give for how much freedom they want their pets to have. I usually like to keep them in sight or in an enclosed area like a fenced in yard when not out on a walk. I like playing and keeping them entertained or sitting quietly together if they're tired. About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences and hands-on experience caring for pets in both shelter and clinical settings. I started my journey working at a local animal shelter, where I cared for dogs and cats of all breeds and temperaments. Now, I work at an animal hospital, where I spend my days caring for boarded cats and dogs. I’m comfortable administering medications and handling special feeding protocols. I also understand that not every pet is easygoing, and that’s okay! I’m comfortable working with pets who may be reactive, anxious, or need a little extra patience and care to feel safe and secure. I work from 7:45 AM to 1:30 PM most days and 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Fridays, so I’m available for pet sitting, walks, and visits outside of those hours. Weekend hours may change depending on my work schedule for the week. Feel free to reach out, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your pet care needs! When caring for your pets in your home, I’ll follow any instructions you provide for feeding, medication, and exercise to ensure they’re getting the care they’re accustomed to. Whether it’s a daily walk, playtime, or snuggles on the couch, I make sure to create a comfortable and safe environment for your pet. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and am the go-to sitter in my family—often caring for multiple dogs of all ages over the holidays. I also have extensive experience administering daily medications, especially pills. I work as a golf caddy which allows me to set my own hours, but also is really only an option on weekends. I’m very free on weekdays during the summer! When caring for pets in your home, I make it a priority to maintain their routine exactly as you would—because I know how much consistency matters. About: I have worked as a pet boarder and sitter on Rover for about a year. Having previously worked as a certified nursing assistant, I have experience as a caregiver, and one of my greatest passions is caring for pets. Dogs and cats are members of a family, and it is so important to care for them as you would any other family member. I have several years of experience boarding dogs for their owners when they have been on vacation, and have also cared for my own animals throughout my whole life. I also have experience as an animal transporter for West Hancock canine rescue, in which I would work with a team to take dogs and cats from high kill shelters to foster homes or rescues. I also have a wonderful dog I rescued, Ollie, who is friendly and likes to play with other dogs at times. I’m working part-time so have time to play with pups! And our family loves animals, so it’s a great fit for us to pet sit, and we like providing a home environment for owners who need to travel. I provide a calm, safe and fun environment for pets to play. Provide walks and let pets out regularly. I believe it’s important to attend to all feeding and medication needs as a high priority.
