“Having just adopted my lab from PAWS a couple months ago, I felt nervous leaving her overnight for the first time. In lieu of an 11-day trip, I reached out to Jamielynn for a meet-and-greet. Storm seemed to immediately take to her and her family. Their house has a large fenced yard, there would be other dogs for her to play with; and I could see that Storm seemed relaxed in this new environment. Still, I knew that my new addition would get separation anxiety when left for short periods of time. Also, not knowing her history, there would be a learning curve for Jamielynn to deal with. However, during my trip I gratefully received regular updates and pictures. Storm was given the love and attention she needed.
