Extremely flexible work schedule and I live a quiet laidback lifestyle. My weekends and Friday nights are always free. I love filling my free time with physical activities so walks are great to me! About: I’m a huge animal lover and the type of person who will absolutely stop to say hi to every dog I pass. I truly love caring for animals and making them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home while their owners are away. I’ve been watching dogs and cats for years for friends, family, referrals, and people I’ve met along the way, and I genuinely enjoy every minute of it. Growing up, my family helped with dog rescues — and still do today — so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. From energetic puppies to senior pets, I love getting to know every pet’s unique personality. I work a hybrid remote schedule, which gives me a flexible routine and allows me to spend quality time with your pet throughout the day. That means more walks, more playtime, more potty breaks, more attention, and of course… plenty of belly rubs and treats (if allowed 😄). I also have experience with longer-term care and have watched pets for entire summers (up to 3 months at a time), so I understand how important consistency, patience, and trust are when caring for someone’s furry family member. My goal is always to make your pet feel like they’re on their own little vacation while you’re away and make sure they are happy, loved, comfortable, and cared for like they’re part of the family. I know leaving your pet with someone is a big deal, and I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and someone you can genuinely feel comfortable trusting with your pet. I would be so excited and grateful for the opportunity to meet you and your pet 🐶🐱. I work from home remotely a lot and am able to take full care of your pets on the weekends and most weekdays. It is a hobby/job for me because I love animals so much! I treat everyone’s pets like my own. Growing up, I had cats, dogs, horses, and every animal you could think of. I would love to have an animal now of my own, but I travel often!

About: Recently moved back to Islamorada. 6 years I used to work as a Kennel Attendant, and Groomer's Assistant. Supervising and cleaning up after dogs big and small, While I know the job can sometimes be challenging, I also know how rewarding it can be. I walk daily on my own so exercise and being active would be no problem to incorporate, I have experience working with even the biggest of dogs and letting them know who's Alpha. I am sensitive to dogs needs regarding hot pavement, and would work to do my best to keep them in shaded or softer areas for walking. Since I worked as an attendant and bather, a simple bath and brush would be easy to arrange if shampoo and towels are available and your pet feels safe having a stranger do it. I would love being able to provide that little extra to make your dog feel like a personal client and special friend. I work a rather unpredictable schedule, but often have off weekends, where I'm home almost the entirety of the day if you check with me I can best let you know if I can host your pup. I care for a very very nice dog named Finley who would love a friend to hang out with, we have an outdoor porch and a big grassy yard, and I stay close by, playing with toys between chores or cuddling while watching a movie. There are also parks around if you feel comfortable having your pup come with me on a longer walk or to socialize with others. I am looking for more even tempered dogs to host but good playful energy is welcomed if they get along with others.

About: Hey there! My name’s Kyle, and I’m a nursing student living here in Key Largo. I own a property with multiple units and a fenced yard/backyard. I own a small, male Shiba Inu! In general, I’ve owned and taken care of dogs since I was 10! (So just a little over 18 years as of 2025) I love dogs and haven’t gone very long without a canine companion in my life. That being said, I have plenty of first-hand experience with many dogs from volunteering, my personal life, and from informing myself whenever available. I’m very flexible and will make sure all of your and your pet pals’ needs are met. I am currently working DoorDash on the side, so I will be in/out of the house but have the ability to immediately return at a moments notice and will never be too far from the home. I am already taking care of my own dog for walks, potty breaks, etc, so most pets will be following the same routine unless requested otherwise or are young and need constant supervision. My home is large enough to care for dogs of all sizes, including a property with a fenced in yard and backyard, as well as a puppy-proof room available to house young kittens and puppies.

I’ve work with a variety of different animals, in ERs, surgery, internal medicine and in zoos and aquariums as a licensed vet tech. I am the friend everyone calls when they need animal advise or help. I would love to be able to care for your pets as well. Sorry I don’t book more than 2 months ahead of time. Let me know if you need a last minute walk or pet sit and I’d be happy to see if I can help. I currently have a flexible schedule but do work shifts that are 6-8 hours long. I do not provide constant care, I will only be able to care for dogs that can be left alone for at least 6 hours. Let’s chat and figure out what you need and how I can help you and your pets! I can not currently watch dogs in my own home but am able to come stay with them in yours. I can stay overnight and be there for them or come for long visits throughout the day which is better for you and them.

I've recently relocated to Islamorada from Los Angeles with my dog Astro. He is a gentle soul, very playful, very well behaved and loves other animals. I am looking to care for animals full time. I wake up early and can spend the days exercising and playing. Smaller dogs can be in my home. Larger dogs will be cared for your in your home as I am not in a home with a fence yet.

About: I have cared for my own and others’ pets for over 35 years—large and small dogs, different kinds of cats, birds, hamsters, bearded dragons, even fish. I have the most experience with dogs – I’ve loved and owned dogs since I was a young girl. Most recently I volunteered with and fostered dogs (& one kitten) for Detroit Dog Rescue for 8 years, which only stopped because I moved away. I have fostered and trained puppies, young to mid-age rescues, and also adjusted as my dog became a senior. I can walk your dog, have play time in a yard or a park, just have some chill time, and I can incorporate some enrichment to get them thinking and busy if you would like. I am also an expert at administering medicine with dogs and don’t mind doing this. I am also trained in Fear Free® pet care which focuses on behavior and body language with strategies to lower stress and anxiety in pets. I have vast experience with fearful and reactive dogs, owning one and fostering a few myself. My approach is patient and never pushy, letting the pet choose how they would like to interact, which could be none at all for some. I used Rover for many, many years for my pittie girl Penelope and understand the importance of clear communication, doing what the client wants, being on time, etc. I am excited to meet your pet and take care of them the way you would like. I am currently working part-time at a dive shop and have a bit of free time until we get busier. If I work, it can be any day of the week with weekends more busy than during the week. I can have a morning or afternoon shift or both. Mornings are 7am until noon and afternoons are 1115 to close to 4pm. I can travel directly to work to and from your home in the morning and afternoon. I can do drop-ins, longer stays, or overnights. I will make sure your pets are safe and secure in the yard when we are out there. I can easily crate them as well. I will do as you wish in your home.

About: I’ve lived with animals my entire life. Even when I moved away from home for college I would fill my free time with fostering dogs and cats. I have some prior experience providing basic training to dogs and I have experience administering multiple types of medication. I’m currently working full time but will be transitioning into my PhD in the fall. Currently, I cannot house anyone in my home but I am free for very early morning and late afternoon walks and check ins! I care for your pets as if they were my pets. I can adapt to needs and am happy to give as much enrichment, love, and attention as you and your pet desire!

About: I grew up on a farm for 20 years and worked as a vet assistant for 10 years. Very experienced around all animals and not afraid to take on big, energetic or challenging pets. I’m a very nice, calm person that I almost guarantee your pet will love. I have a flexible job and can check on your pet as many times as you need. I have no problem trusting your pet in my place so they can hangout all day and I will check on them all day and be with them all night. I live in a big house with a big yard outside so I’m certain your pet will enjoy a day at my place. We also have a pool we can swim in if they are allowed

I can crate your animals if needed, take them on walks, let them play outside (if you have a backyard), and I will give any amount of love and stimulation to the pets if they want it. I can follow any diets or diet restrictions that your pet may be on. I can also tend to disabled animals as well. Anything that you and your pets may need to feel the most comfortable.
