About: Recently moved back to Islamorada. 6 years I used to work as a Kennel Attendant, and Groomer's Assistant. Supervising and cleaning up after dogs big and small, While I know the job can sometimes be challenging, I also know how rewarding it can be. I walk daily on my own so exercise and being active would be no problem to incorporate, I have experience working with even the biggest of dogs and letting them know who's Alpha. I am sensitive to dogs needs regarding hot pavement, and would work to do my best to keep them in shaded or softer areas for walking. Since I worked as an attendant and bather, a simple bath and brush would be easy to arrange if shampoo and towels are available and your pet feels safe having a stranger do it. I would love being able to provide that little extra to make your dog feel like a personal client and special friend. I work a rather unpredictable schedule, but often have off weekends, where I'm home almost the entirety of the day if you check with me I can best let you know if I can host your pup. I care for a very very nice dog named Finley who would love a friend to hang out with, we have an outdoor porch and a big grassy yard, and I stay close by, playing with toys between chores or cuddling while watching a movie. There are also parks around if you feel comfortable having your pup come with me on a longer walk or to socialize with others. I am looking for more even tempered dogs to host but good playful energy is welcomed if they get along with others.

About: My wife and I provide dog sitting, dog walks, drop in visits for multiple families in the Upper Keys area and have three fur babies of our own. We have been dog sitting for several years and have provided care for a multitude of canines, from dog walking services, fostering, and boarding. We are willing to take all canines that are well-mannered and play nice with others. We are also willing and able to care for puppies and older companions. I also provide obedience classes for shelter animals, puppies, and adoptions who need help with simple tasks like crate training, walking on a leash, sitting, and house training. Pet care is already a natural part of our daily routine. My wife and I work as a team, which gives us flexibility to make sure pets get plenty of attention, walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship throughout the day. We enjoy being active and spending time with animals, so caring for additional pets fits easily into our lifestyle. Our goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for just like they would at home. We’re a husband-and-wife team and longtime dog owners ourselves, so caring for pets is already a big part of our everyday life. We treat visiting pets like part of the family while still following the routine and rules their owners are used to. When caring for pets in a client’s home, we’re respectful of both the pet’s routine and the home. We follow feeding schedules, walking instructions, medications or special directions provided, keep things clean, and make sure pets get plenty of companionship and attention. Having two of us also means an extra set of eyes, extra attention, and more flexibility when caring for your pets. Most importantly, we want owners to feel comfortable knowing their pets are being cared for by people who genuinely love animals and will treat them the way we would want our own dogs treated.

I truly love caring for animals and making them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home while their owners are away. I’ve been watching dogs and cats for years for friends, family, referrals, and people I’ve met along the way, and I genuinely enjoy every minute of it. Growing up, my family helped with dog rescues — and still do today — so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I love getting to know every pet’s unique personality. I also have experience with longer-term care and have watched pets for entire summers (up to 3 months at a time), so I understand how important consistency, patience, and trust are when caring for someone’s furry family member. I am available Monday through Sunday at any time needed. I am here for your pet! I can crate your animals if needed, take them on walks, let them play outside (if you have a backyard), and I will give any amount of love and stimulation to the pets if they want it. I can follow any diets or diet restrictions that your pet may be on. I can also tend to disabled animals as well. Anything that you and your pets may need to feel the most comfortable.

I walked my Dog 4 times a day around my neighborhood. She is fed twice a day. Both my cats are indoor cats who also get fed twice a day.
