About: Hello! Are you looking for an experienced pet sitter/ walker? well Iâm that person! Iâve work with a variety of different animals, in ERs, surgery, internal medicine and in zoos and aquariums as a licensed vet tech. I am the friend everyone calls when they need animal advise or help. I would love to be able to care for your pets as well. Sorry I donât book more than 2 months ahead of time. Let me know if you need a last minute walk or pet sit and Iâd be happy to see if I can help. I currently have a flexible schedule but do work shifts that are 6-8 hours long. I do not provide constant care, I will only be able to care for dogs that can be left alone for at least 6 hours. Letâs chat and figure out what you need and how I can help you and your pets! I can not currently watch dogs in my own home but am able to come stay with them in yours. I can stay overnight and be there for them or come for long visits throughout the day which is better for you and them.
âErin was awesome! Would highly recommend. Our flight was delayed and during the workweek our friends were unavailable. She was able to step in last minute and go above and beyond for us. She was very responsive, communicated frequently, on-time, and even went above and beyond when our pup had tummy issues. We will definitely be using her again in the future! Thanks again Erin.â

About: Recently moved back to Islamorada. 6 years I used to work as a Kennel Attendant, and Groomer's Assistant. Supervising and cleaning up after dogs big and small, While I know the job can sometimes be challenging, I also know how rewarding it can be. I walk daily on my own so exercise and being active would be no problem to incorporate, I have experience working with even the biggest of dogs and letting them know who's Alpha. I am sensitive to dogs needs regarding hot pavement, and would work to do my best to keep them in shaded or softer areas for walking. Since I worked as an attendant and bather, a simple bath and brush would be easy to arrange if shampoo and towels are available and your pet feels safe having a stranger do it. I would love being able to provide that little extra to make your dog feel like a personal client and special friend. I work a rather unpredictable schedule, but often have off weekends, where I'm home almost the entirety of the day if you check with me I can best let you know if I can host your pup. I care for a very very nice dog named Finley who would love a friend to hang out with, we have an outdoor porch and a big grassy yard, and I stay close by, playing with toys between chores or cuddling while watching a movie. There are also parks around if you feel comfortable having your pup come with me on a longer walk or to socialize with others. I am looking for more even tempered dogs to host but good playful energy is welcomed if they get along with others.
About: Iâm a calm, reliable sitter with experience caring for both playful puppies and senior pets who need extra patience. Iâm attentive to routines, basic training, and individualized care so every pet feels safe and comfortable. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine allowing me to be flexible and fully present for each pet. I am happy to work around schedules. I follow each petâs routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I keep their environment clean, safe, and low-stress, whether in my home or theirs.
âKyle communicated well! He did an in person meet and greet and followed all instructions for caring for my boy! He advised of his mood and what he enjoyed while sprinting for him. My boy really liked Kyle! I will definitely be using him in the future as well as referring him to others. Thank you Kyle!â

About: Iâm a huge animal lover and the type of person who will absolutely stop to say hi to every dog I pass. I truly love caring for animals and making them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home while their owners are away. Iâve been watching dogs and cats for years for friends, family, referrals, and people Iâve met along the way, and I genuinely enjoy every minute of it. Growing up, my family helped with dog rescues â and still do today â so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I love getting to know every petâs unique personality. I also have experience with longer-term care and have watched pets for entire summers (up to 3 months at a time), so I understand how important consistency, patience, and trust are when caring for someoneâs furry family member. My goal is always to make your pet feel like theyâre on their own little vacation while youâre away and make sure they are happy, loved, comfortable, and cared for. I know leaving your pet with someone is a big deal, and I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and someone you can genuinely feel comfortable trusting with your pet. I would be so excited and grateful for the opportunity to meet you and your pet đśđą. I work from home remotely a lot and am able to take full care of your pets on the weekends and most weekdays. It is a hobby/job for me because I love animals so much! I treat everyoneâs pets like my own. Growing up, I had cats, dogs, horses, and every animal you could think of. I would love to have an animal now of my own, but I travel often!

I have no problem trusting your pet in my place so they can hangout all day and I will check on them all day and be with them all night. I live in a big house with a big yard outside so Iâm certain your pet will enjoy a day at my place. We also have a pool we can swim in if they are allowed
About: I've been caring for dogs since I was eight years old, giving me years of hands-on experience with both playful puppies and senior dogs. Whether itâs providing plenty of love, ensuring they get the exercise they need, or reinforcing good behavior, I take pride in being both attentive and a strong leader. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and Iâm committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and well-cared for on every walk. With me, your pup will get the perfect balance of fun, structure, and care! đžđś Your dog has my FULL attention! I am committed to this opportunity to walk your dog as it is my sole focus. I have a very flexible schedule that I can work around your pup's busy day. I am available practical all days and times of day, just send me a message and let's find a time that works best for you! I live in an RV park that has dog park facilities and walking paths. I can also board your dog in crates (owner provided). Just let me know what it is that you need and we will work on finding the accommodations that best fit your pet and your needs!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
