About: I have always been a dog lover at heart! My family has 7 dogs of our own, both big and small. I am no stranger to what it takes to take care of your furry companion! I am currently looking for a full-time job outside of Rover, so I am available almost everyday! I prefer to be contacted 2 days in advance for visits. A someone who has been around pets their whole life, I pay very close attention to detail. I cater to you and your pets needs by asking questions and going above and beyond.
“Mylo loves visits from his favorite sitter Amanda! As always, she does amazing with him and gives the best updates and pictures. My husband and I always look forward to reading about their time together! Thanks as always Amanda, 10/10. ☺️”

“Dave took excellent care of my dog. It was clear how genuinely caring and professional Dave is. He provided daily updates with photos. I will definitely be using his services again. Highly Recommend!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since/ I was 16 Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe and gave meds to their pets... I’m available full time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays at 9am Routines ensure a dog eats on a schedule that supports their metabolism and healthy digestion. A daily schedule also helps with potty training and keeps a dog “regular.” Plus, daily physical activity and playtime support a dog’s physical health. In terms of mental and emotional health, a repeatable schedule lends a sense of security from knowing what to expect. If you leave the home, your dog knows you’ll return. If the food bowl is empty, the dog knows more food will be in the bowl at a certain time of day Your dog’s playtime and bathroom habits remind you to get up and move or to take work breaks. Good sleep habits for your dog mean YOU will sleep better—without any middle-of-the-night, wet-nosed wake-up calls. All that quality time together is also great for relieving stress—not to mention the special bond and friendship is one of the best things about owning a dog in the first place.
“Jess was great! She did a great job with communicating a meet and greet and all the details about the drop-ins for my cat. She really made me feel comfortable he was getting all the cuddles and attention he needed :)”

About: I grew up with all kinds of pets from birds to geckos! I have a lot of pet sitting experience and am super flexible with schedules and any of your pets needs! I have experience with pets that require daily medication as well. I work full time but I have only work 4 days a week and my work schedule is always changing allowing me to have flexibility with days and even times! I remember that when I am caring for someone else’s pet that I am in their pets territory and that I may be unfamiliar to them at first! I am always gentle with them and try to maintain a relaxing environment for each pet I care for. I always give them time to warm up to me as well and offer them lots of love!
About: I have been taking care of friends and family members dogs for about 8 years! I love animal especially dogs both big and small. I will do my best to meet any requirements you have for your animal to ensure that they keep their schedule! I currently am doing my clinical rotations for pharmacy school. Therefore I can take care of the dog in the morning and then once I get off I am free the rest of the night! I have a neighborhood to walk dogs throughout as well as experience with crates if needed. I have 3 dogs here that are pet friendly and can keep your animal company!

“Kathryn was great with our cats (who warmed up to her faster than their usual), communicated super well, and was fastidious about care and cleaning. Would love to work with her again!”

About: I love dogs and grew up with them! Though I don't have the space for them now, I've been missing some puppy playtime! Both of my parents are vets as well, so I'm also pretty well versed in all things pet care! I do work full-time, but a lot of my job can be done from home depending on the amount of notice I have before discussing that with my boss. That being said my weekends are pretty open as well as the occasional monday. I typically work from home every other monday! I love all animals! Growing up I had 2 dogs and then foster failed 2 cats! Those 2 cats currently live with my parents, but I'm bringing them up here when I move into my own place. Both of my roommates also have cats!
About: I’ve had a dog in my house ever since i was younger and i have got a dog of my own for 5 years now! I’m currently working part time, so i’m definitely very available and very flexible with days and times and will be doing that for a while! I have a fence for my dog so i’m very careful with my dog and safety at home and would do the same for your house and dog , i also can easily crate your dog if needed as well!
“Sarah was wonderful! She was very good with our elderly dog. It takes our senior mama some time to get around and do her thing, and Sarah was so patient with her. I was a bit nervous at first having someone come into our home and take care of our fur baby, but Sarah worked out great! We will definitely be using her again!”

“Theresa was wonderful and attentive and communicative. It made me feel at ease to know that my cats were in good hands. She clearly loves animals and is knowledgeable about pet care. Highly recommend!”

“Savannah gave me so much peace of mind when I was traveling for a few days and she watched my 2 cats. She came by prior to my trip so I could show her around and what needed to be done, and the cats took to her right away. Getting pictures and a little update every day was such a nice touch too. Would definitely recommend her!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Irwin
Natalie took the best care of Daisy. She was easy to communicate with and very reliable. She was able to accommodate a last minute change & sent lots of pictures and updates throughout the week. She also offered and cleaned up all the dog fur so we didn’t have to come home to a mess. We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter to care for our pup while we were on vacation.

Thank you so much for taking great care for my girls! They are my family and it’s super nice to have such great ppl to watch them when I’m not home. The trust is strong with those at Rover. I appreciate the kindness and respect I received from Emily. Thank you!

I can't say enough good things about Hailey! She was absolutely wonderful with my dogs and I was able to make arrangements with her to drop-in on them on short notice. I was nervous leaving them alone, but I got peace of mind with the first drop-in card. I knew that my babies were going to be well taken care of and I was able to relax and enjoy my trip. I will definitely be booking with Hailey again anytime I'll be away! 🩷

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
