About: I am a dog owner for the past 7 years and own two Setter pups. Friends have entrusted me with their dogs for petsitting and dog walking - in some occasions I would have as many as 4 dogs with me, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! As a dog parent I know how important is to have someone you trust with your baby, I will treat your dog as my own, making sure your dog is safe and happy! I mostly work from home during the week, which allows me to be flexible to go on a walk with your pup to get some fresh air or do a drop in visit to spend some time with them. When I drop in to check on your pup or take on a walk, I will always follow your instructions closely and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. During walks, I will keep a close eye on them, always be on leash, and make sure they get the right amount of exercise based on their energy level. Afterward, provide a quick pupdate so you know your pup is happy and well taken care of.

About: I have been a nanny/babysitter since I was in middle school and pet care goes hand in hand with that. I’ve taken care of all of my clients’ pets when they are out of town. I currently have my own fur baby (Hank the GSD) so I don’t do overnight pet sitting anymore but I am looking for drop in jobs in my area I am a full time nanny in Arlington heights so I am able to drop in before or after work and on the weekends to check on your pets. I work roughly 8am-5pm M-F I can come check on your pets and play with them. Make sure they have food/water and take them for short walks before work or longer walks after work. On the weekends I am able to stay longer to spend time with them but no overnights.

About: I’ve had dogs as pets since I was 5 years old, I love the companionship of pets, especially since I work from home. My last dog Pepper sadly left us after a beautiful 16 years and so I think this is a great way to keep that connection going. I work remotely and have the flexibility to be away from my desk often. I love going for walks around my neighbourhood with my son and being outdoors in general, I used to live in Florida! I live in a pet friendly neighbourhood, with a dog park a short walk away. I also have plenty of outdoor space within my own home for pets.

About: I've spent my entire life around pets and animals and have pet sat for a lot of family and friends before. I always have loved spending time with animals and taking care of them. My family has raised a Lab, Goldendoodle, and a German Shepard, we are all pet lovers and are all very caring. I'm available all nights and weekends, on weekdays I have a flexible school schedule that allows me to be home multiple times per day. I am a senior about to graduate so I am taking a small amount of classes. I am very attentive to the pets I have cared for in the past, as well as my current pets. About: I have helped my best friend (of 17 years) with his current dog and late dog with feeding, walking, playing, staying overnight, staying for an extended time, cleaning up after messes in the house, everything I can think of. I am always eager to help out so that you do not need to stress about a single thing. I want you to be able to leave your house knowing that your pup is left in the best of hands. I can be serious when I need to for any disciplinary measures you might have in place to keep it consistent, and all the fun in the world as well to keep your pup entertained while you are away. I believe in keeping dogs active when they want to be and letting them rest when they want to as well. I have helped out my best friend with some foster dogs lately, including a current foster pittie, and with their own Rover dogs they watch at home. I currently still live with my parents who are allergic to most dogs, so I have to come to your place. I unfortunately cannot have dogs over. I hope I can be of service to you in the future, and I look forward to meeting many pups soon! I just got a job as a supervisor for a grocery store, so I will see if I have a set schedule or not so I can help out the most. I still intend to help out here on Rover :). I have a ton of doctors I see, so my weeks are a little goofy, but I will do my best to update my calendar to reflect my schedule ASAP! I spend a lot of time at my best friends' house right now (my best friend and his wife) watching their dog and feeding him when they are both working. They have also had their current foster over a month now, so I feed him and shower him with love as well. I grow attached to dogs' personalities. I have also trained dogs using training treats to sit, stay, "wait" and "free" for eating food, "wait" and "come" for treats, how to ring a bell on the back door for potty with the cue words "sit" "gentle" (tap the bells hanging on the door gentle with their nose) "thank you", paw, and down (lay down). I am not saying I would be able to do this with every dog, but if you wanted me to try to teach your dog anything, give me the challenge! I love a good challenge! I would like to make something clear that is very important for medical reasons (I even have the paperwork to prove it because of how ridiculous it sounds haha): I am extremely allergic to heat and can overheat/faint super easily (within 5 minutes usually) so walking your pup in 90°+ weather would be VERY difficult. But ALSO, I am DEATHLY allergic to extreme cold. The cold can kill me. But as long as I bundle up, I’m fine. So winter walks shouldn’t be much of an issue :). I will always make sure to clean up after every visit, I want to make that abundantly clear. I LOVE to clean, and I refuse to leave a mess for you to clean up if it happened on my watch. I will always make sure to follow your rules for your pups if you have certain rules to follow. I will never EVER judge anyone for any rules in place. I only want to do what is right by you in order to provide the best possible experience so that when you get back home, your dog will be so happy to see you or asleep in my lap from playing so much. I truly do want to be the best I can be as a dogsitter, so if there is anything you want specifically for your pup, do not hesitate to let me know. I am very laid back and very understanding. I have over 16 years of retail experience under my belt, so I guess I just aim to make sure that the customer/client always knows they're worth it! I never mind helping out!

About: Hi there! My name is Jessica. My love for dogs started at a young age. Since 16 I have been caring for dogs starting with just about everyone’s pup in my neighborhood which quickly evolved into so much more over the years. I work partially from home in marketing so I have some flexibility in my schedule. I occasionally go into the office but have flexibility on when. I am available for feeding, playing, walking, or simply keeping your pup company. I have experience with dogs of various sizes ages and breeds. I also have a dog of my own that I rescued earlier this year so I have had my fair share of first hand experience navigating puppy ownership.

About: We are 26 years old and have both grown up with dogs. We’re the type of people who ask to pet every dog we see in public. We have been watching dogs on Rover since 2021. Dogs cared for include all sizes and ages! My husband and I will treat your pup like our own during our time with them. We have a Golden Shepherd (1/2 Golden Retriever, 1/2 German Shepherd) who is 4 years old. Her name is Marley and my husband and I have put in a lot of time training her. She is VERY friendly with all dogs and people! We also have a 2 year old Scotch Collie named Oban. Our home is nestled in a great neighborhood for walks. We also have a large fenced yard where we often let the dogs run around and play. We are both full-time teachers, we are able to care for your pup on the weekends for boarding. We are flexible & willing to work to best fit you scheduling needs. We will treat your pup like our own. Our home is nestled in the perfect neighborhood for walks. We have a large fenced yard. Our dog Marley is well trained & is extremely friendly with all dogs and people. Our 2nd dog, Oban, is also friendly, but is sometimes nervous around new dogs.

About: I’ve been a house sitter and dog walker for other people for years, while also taking care of family rescues also! Puppies and kitties of all ages and sizes, from Great Danes to French bulldogs! I’m currently studying and applying to graduate school so some fur friends to keep me company are very welcome! My apartment has a pet area and is very pet friendly! My apartment has a pet relief area where the dogs can run around and is very pet friendly with dog treat jars throughout the building! We also have a pet spa for baths if needed!
