“Reliable, friendly, professional and VERY knowledgeable about dogs. She actually noticed our boy was scratching his ear and so she checked. Found his ears dirty and actually smelled them to see if it was infection! I'd say that's above and beyond. Plus she's just a delightful human being. And my animals love her! Me too!!”

“Kara has done a great job of getting to know Luna and making her feel at ease when sitting with her. She is prompt and flexible with her schedule. We know Luna is safe and well cared for when Kara is with her. We’ll definitely have her sit with Luna more often!”

About: I have had pets all my life, I have house, pet and plant sat for 18 years now. I have a lot of experience with senior dogs and cats. Medications are no problem. I enjoy walks just as much as the dogs! I typically travel through a house and pet sitting site. I love it so much I thought I would make it my job! My schedule is flexible. I care for pets in their own homes. Rover insists you start out boarding in the sitters home but I do not offer this service. I pet sit in the clients home only. Thanks :)

“Lisa rocks! She went about and beyond to make sure our baby had everything he needed while we were gone. Thank you so much for your care and help!”

“Jennifer was great, my cat is my pride and joy! She made sure that Nala was well taken care of and sent me lots of photos. Overall she was great and will be requesting her in the future!!!”

“Alexa took great care of our cat! She helped us out last minute, which was a huge relief. We came home to find him happy and healthy, couldn’t ask for more!”

About: I am experienced walking and taking care of many different breeds, including a Weimaraner, Husky, German Shorthaired Pointer, Corgi, and a Chihuahua. I have also house sat for dogs, cats, and rabbits. One of the dogs I've watched had a history of seizures, so I learned how to administer their daily medication. I'm very punctual and I love animals. I've walked dogs in a lot of different weather conditions, and have no problem walking your dog regardless of what weather Michigan decides to throw at everyone. I look forward to getting some valuable time outdoors, and getting to take care of some adorable animals. I have a fairly open schedule and will do my best to accommodate clients. I am available to work early, late, and overnight as needed. I will take care of pets in their home so that they can be the most comfortable. I will follow the schedule for walks and food that their owner provides.

“Ava was the best! We had a last minute change of plans and she was able to sit and help out with the pups. She was responsive and loving to our puppies. Will not only be using her again for future sitting but will be telling others to do the same.”

About: I used to work at a vet clinic, so I am good with emergencies and handling special instructions. I am professional, organized, communicative and trustworthy. I work from home 99% of the time, so my schedule is extremely flexible and I’ll hang out with your pets as long as needed. What you say goes and you know what is best for your pet, so tell me what you need and I’ll happily make it happen.

About: I worked in a vet clinic during college and I studied animal science for a year and a half. I had cats growing up and hope to get a dog one day soon! We have 2 young kids right now, so we are not ready to own our own pet just yet. I am great with training and have trained my friends’ dogs and my cats. Both cats that I most recently lived with knew “up” and know how to sit on command. I am a teacher during the school year and home during the summer. I am free all summer except a trip here and there. I try to keep my calendar as updated as possible, but you can always reach out and ask! I have a big yard, but it is not fenced in so your dog would have to be on a leash. I do not have any pets, but we do have 2 kids.

About: I have always been around dogs and I greatly enjoy training my standard poodle in agility and rally obedience. When caring for your pets, I will do the assigned tasks, including providing human attention in couch cuddles or throwing the ball. I am happy to fill up enrichment feeders and such to best reduce boredom while alone. Drop in only for dogs and cats. House stays only for farm and livestock animals, including horses, cattle, sheep, goats, alpacas, pigs, poultry. My schedule varies and can be flexible, please contact me and let me know what you are looking for and I will let you know my availability. I will follow your directions for feeding and care, and you can be assured that I complete all that is necessary. For large animals: I understand that changes in routine for horses can lead to complications such as stress and colic, and that they are predisposed to accidents and injury. I am capable of handling minor injury and identifying when it is necessary to call your veterinarian.

“Jill has always taken excellent care of our kitties. She is very reliable and does a great job communicating their status and cares given. Lots of pictures too. We highly recommend her to watch over your pets!!”

About: I am a lifetime dog owner and lover- my pets have always been treated like family members. Have fostered in the past as well as owned my own. I am a caring, loving, responsible “mother-hen” who hopes to make you comfortable leaving your fur babies in someone else’s hands. I will run, walk, feed, play, and love your pets like my own. I am comfortable administering medication or catering to any special needs your baby may have. I am currently unable to have animals at my own home, but I am comfortable staying at yours! I’m also great at taking care of plants :-) While animals are always immediately comfortable with me, I understand if you’d like to schedule a meet up before I commit to caring for your pets. Please let me know if you have any questions I haven’t answered! I work from home and have my son every other week, so I have a lot of flexible time for walks and care and for sitting in your home. I love to do meet and greets in your home first so you can see how naturally I care for animals. My family has always called me the animal whisperer! I love written instructions so we have clear understanding of what you expect in caring for your pets.

About: I love animals and love to spoil them! I’ve worked at a vet clinic in the past and have had animals all my life growing up! I am available mornings and after noons for walking, and check in’s, and also boarding at nights if needed. I do like to go running as well and wouldn’t mind taking a fur friend along with me to go running on the beach! Also, from working at a vet clinic in the past I do have a little experience with training. I have obtained a lot of tips on how to help train puppies with potty training and jumping and biting. I would be happy to do a little light training if needed as well. I do work full time but have a fairly flexible schedule and could be available for check in’s during the day. I am also available on weekends! I live on a private drive with lots of space to run around and my dog Sid loves meeting new friends! We also have a walking trail right behind our apartment!

About: I have been watching pets since I was young. I have watched senior dogs and administered medication. I also have trained puppies. I would be happy to work with your puppy on basic training and leash training. Families, friends, and neighbors have relied on me to feed, walk, play, bathe their dogs. I am truly a dog lover and will treat them as my own dogs. I do work full time during the week Monday through Friday. I work 7 am to 3pm. I do have a lunch break to come home and check on the the animals as well. I am home on weekends to board your animal. I have one friendly golden retriever to keep your dog company. I have a fenced in yard that connects to 2,000 acres of state land so we have lots of walking opportunities. I also have private shared lake access if your dog enjoys to swim. I have a 4 bedroom house that animals will be able to roam around in.

About: I've been lucky enough to have been able to help my mom with her business raising and selling dogs. Meaning I've dealt with taking care of pregnant dogs, newborn puppies, sick dogs, and senior dogs. I've also taken care of many different kinds of animals from reptilian to aquatic. My current full time job assisted senior living. I don't have a set schedule, but instead shifts I can choose to pick up. Meaning with proper warning I can puzzle piece my day to make time for your sweet pet. No matter what your pet needs I'm sure I can accommodate them and give them the care they need. And I always have extra supplies if needed. (carrier, food, toys, collars, leashes, ect.)
