“Sara was great with our dog. From the initial "meet & greet" to the actual stay, she made us and our dog feel comfortable. She was quick to respond to questions, and provided regular updates throughout the stay. Would highly recommend using her again.”

About: Friendly, warm, and welcoming. I have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to roam in my home plus a fenced in backyard. I've had dogs in the home since I was child and have been caring full-time for my dog for 7 years. I have previous experience with in-home boarding for some of my co-workers and have cared for dogs with nervous bladders. I currently work full time, but am always home in the evenings for plenty of playtime and walks. I can be flexible with pick up and drop off times with at least a day's notice to work with your schedule. I have a fenced in yard and plenty of space to roam inside my home. Dogs are welcome on the furniture or in bed if they need some extra cuddle time. I can crate your dogs if needed during the day and my own pup is crate trained for while I'm away.
“Jessica was amazing!! Her communication throughout booking and confirming were top notch. Our little Looper had so much fun at Jessica's house, he returned happy and worn out!! We truly appreciate the care Jessica gave to our pup, and would absolutely recommend! We will be booking again in the future. Thank you, Jessica!!”

“First time using Rover, and it was incredibly easy. Our dog was hyper at first but calmed down quickly and the stay seemed amazing. Would definitely recommend!”

“Lucy had a great weekend with Jennifer! She got along great with Oscar. Tick season is pretty bad this year and Jennifer made sure to look over Lucy and keep her tick-free!”

“We're very happy with the care Kaycee and Robert provided are beloved labs!!! We recommend them if you're in need of pet sitting. They were very flexible and easy to communicate with. Will definitely use them again for our future needs.”

“Absolutely fantastic! Gave Odin so love, attention, and exercise! Gave updates throughout the week. Could not have asked for anyone better to care for my dog while I was away!”

“Highly highly recommend Ellen! Our pup had the best time; we could tell immediately she would love him like we do. Great backyard, lots of updates and a very tired pup from so much play when we got home. We will definitely work with Ellen again!”

“Ms. Ivy had the best time with Michelle. She got to hangout and snuggle with the entire family. She was well taken care of and her meds were administered successfully. Ivy will be staying with Michelle’s family again in April and I know she’ll be so excited to see her new friends.”

“I highly recommend Kaitlyn!! I have 2 big boys 1 is a Doberman and the other is a golden mix. They fight if their in the same room. So was going to have Kaitlyn watch just one of them. When I went to do a meet and greet with my golden. We got to talking and she said she would be willing to take both. She was amazing! I didnt have to worry all weekend long about them because she would send me updates with happy pictures every day. They always looked so happy with all the walks and belly rubs. Highly recommend! I will definitely be going back to her and dropping my other doggie daycare even with a 15 minute extra drive.”

“Ronalisa is very kind. She has a really nice yard for Spunky and Boss to run around. Very responsive. My dogs enjoyed their staycation with her and her fur babies. Spunky and Boss came home tired and happy. Recommend her 10/10.”

“Just… WOW! Words cannot describe how pleased we are to have finally found such amazing people like Perrin and Carrie to watch after our dogs while we were away. For years we’ve tried every type of boarding center and other dog sitters on Rover, but the Sanderson Ranch truly takes the cake. Not only is their property a true dog haven but you can trust them to keep your pets safe, exercised, and entertained for days on end. We received lots of updates, honest feedback, and a full report card upon our return so you know they take their dog-sitting duties seriously. If you’re looking for someone who will open their hearts to your pets and care for them as much as you do, look no further.”

“Hannah and family were just the most wonderful hosts. Kind, warm, and flexible, they made both dogs feel comfortable right from the start. So many great photos of the dogs playing, long walks, and so many lap naps that I was able to not worry! I can’t thank Hannah enough.”

“Wanqing was wonderful from the beginning to the end of my puppy spending time with her and her pets. She was very communicative and even sent photos and updates without me asking for them. She clearly loves animals and treats them with kindness, respect and love. I would recommend her to anyone who wanted their pets to be treated VERY well. :)”

“Eunice did a fantastic job caring for our dog Nina while we were on vacation. This is the first time Nina had ever gone to a pet sitter's house. We had always had someone come to our house to care for our dogs when we were traveling. We were looking for a sitter with dogs in their home, as Nina's doggy sister Maple had passed away recently, and Nina has been very lonely without her. Eunice did a great job getting Nina acclimated to her home and then introducing her dogs (the dogs had met outside awhile before for a meet & greet walk). From the updates we got each day, we could tell how happy Nina was to go on walks and take naps with Eunice's dogs and get snuggles from her and her husband. Knowing that Nina was so well cared for put our minds at ease and allowed us to relax on our vacation. When we picked Nina up, she didn't want to leave! That let us know how comfortable she was there. We are so appreciative of Eunice's care for Nina and would absolutely recommend her to others.”

“Amy was awesome!!! We were so grateful to know that our little dog was in such capable and loving hands while we were on vacation. She was very communicative and provided great updates. We will definitely book with her again!!! Thanks Amy!!! 💕🐾”

About: I’ve covered private care, dog walking, training, vet settings and grooming over the past 20 years. Currently I’m the lead groomer at a local doggie daycare specializing in behavioral rehabilitation. This means dogs in my care get folded into my pack and taken along for our day. We have a 1/3 of an acre to relax on and can reinforce training or loose leash pack walks during their stay. As I work with dogs full time, we can easily fold 1-2 dogs into our daily routine. Structured feed times, crate rotation, daily training and lots of playing in the yard are already a part of our day. Dogs can come to work with me if necessary where they will have yard access for potty breaks and a private area indoors, or stay home with my older girl who prefers the peace and quiet of sun bathing, and midday breaks for walks or time in the yard. We have a large home and yard to accommodate everyone, employ structured meal times and crate and rotate when necessary so everyone has 1-1 time at home.
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Indianford
Our dog Buster stayed with Kim over a long weekend. She was excellent, good communication and Buster was well taken care of. She provided daily updates on how Buster was doing, which was very much appreciated! She was flexible to pickup and drop-off times that we needed. Thank you to Kim and would definitely recommend!!

Laura and her family were the best for watching Baxter! I was very lucky to find them when looking for a dog sitter in the area. They were incredibly kind and accommodating and I knew that my dog was going to have a great time with them. Thanks for watching Baxter, and I’ll definitely be reaching out the next time that I need someone to watch him!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Indianford home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Indianford.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Indianford sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
