“Denise was fantastic! She was prompt, babied my cats, dealt with refilling the automatic feeders, and sent great photos every day (including of our reclusive outdoor cat). Our house looked great when we got home. Excellent experience!”

“We booked Abby to drop in on our cat twice a week while we were on 14 days of travel. Abby's companionship and care is supplemented by our video calls and a neighbor's drop-ins. It is of great comfort to us to have a genuinely caring and animal-loving person be our key person for our pet's care. Abby was reliable and did everything that we agreed upon. We hope to book her for as long as she's on Rover!”

“I know we’re all a little crazy about our pets, but I would say I’ve far surpassed that and I am extraordinarily picky about who I trust to watch my kitters. Finding Mindy was a godsend! I felt completely at ease with her in my home—I received picture and text updates, a very sweet video collage of her time with my fur baby, and thorough communication about all of the minor details. While I’m thrilled to leave this 5 star review for her, I’m also slightly concerned that her schedule will fill up and she will be more difficult to book in the future! She will always be my first pick when I need someone to watch Cleo :)”

“Katelyn is amazing! She goes above & beyond to make sure your fur babies are well cared for while you’re away. She’s given my family such peace of mind with photo updates, staying in touch, quick responses, & her schedule flexibility. I highly recommend her if you need someone to care for your furry family!”

“I was brand new to the area with no established pet sitter and needed to travel last minute. Local kennels couldn’t accommodate me on such short notice. A Google search turned up the Rover app which in turn brought me to Gina and Erik. They had good reviews and repeat customers, so I contacted them via the app. They could accommodate me, had good prices, and asked me if I wanted to come see their home first. My cat is both a mama’s boy and a bit of a scaredy cat. I’d never boarded him before. I was worried he’d think he’d been abandoned again. (He’d been a stray after being adopted as a kitten. He was nine when I adopted him.) He was anxious at first, but in the pictures and videos that Gina and Erik sent, I could see that he was relaxing with them more each day. On the day I was to drive back home, I woke with a migraine. There was no way I could do the drive. I had to ask for an additional day with no advance notice. Fortunately Gina and Erik were able to keep my cat one day longer. Also, I forgot to mention the poopy mess that Gina helped me clean up when I first dropped him off. They provided me with above and beyond service. I wholeheartedly recommend them.”

“This was our second time using Olivia to take care of our cat while we were out of town. She did a great job! Olivia is a great communicator and takes excellent care of our cat. I’d definitely recommend her services to anyone looking for a good pet sitter, and I look forward to booking her again for future sits.”

About: I have had pets for all my life which made me very passionate about taking care of dogs. I am very reliable person that will go above and beyond when taking care of your animals. I am currently a full-time employee based in Nevada, working in Carson. I am available to come in during the evenings on weekdays and at any time on weekends. I always make sure my dog is well cared for, providing plenty of food and water. I ensure she stays comfortable and warm on cold nights. When meeting a dog I’m not familiar with, I take the time to let them know me before engaging in play.

About: I have experience with puppy training and am looking into becoming a sitter and possibly a host for Guide Dogs for the Blind. I've rescued many animals but currently have no pets. I love having the companionship of a dog to get out on the trails for running or hiking. My schedule is flexible. I prefer to have a list of acceptable canine behaviors from the dogs owner as people have differing opinions on what is allowable behavior. I personally love to snuggle pups on the couch but know a few people who would like the dog to remain off of the couch. I'd like a dog to maintain suitable behavior from the owners perspective. I am looking forward to getting to know your dog's personality and spending time with it. Prices may be negotiated with repeat clients.

“Amber has watched my 2 kitties several times. She seems to get just as excited to see them as they do her. She’s reliable, kind and sweet. I will always be calling Amber for help with my girls. She’s the best!”

About: I reassure your animal is comfortable while missing you. I take my time and let them know how many nights until their parents return. I keep them occupied and I find out a way to play. I also talk to them letting them know their good boys and girls and that Mom and Dad will be home in x nights. This is a method I use with my Aunts Schnauzer and I find she is able to relax and enjoy the present moment better Pet care would fit my current life perfectly because due to chronic migraines I found holding a traditional job, impractical. However 5 years ago on a whim I started dog sitting again, and to my delight found it enjoyable, comforting, rewarding, and delighted that this is what I was get paid to do. Migraine wise I find being able to choose my own hours is something my health exceeds at/agrees with. In my own home my pets top priority. I have 2 pets, They are my Dudes. I talk with them. I let them know throughout the day what's going on. I reassure them when they're anxious, I engage in play, cuddle time, pets and or both. They are my little friends. At your home, I would treat it as if I was a guest and as for your pets I would treat them how I treat them in my own home. And I treat your pet like the star of the show.

“Nicole is big-hearted, warm, and professional. We could tell that our kitty looked forward to her visits and was well taken care of at the end of a weekend. She was able to respond to our short notice and we are very grateful!”

About: I have taken care of dogs for neighbors, doctors, hospital CEOs, friends and family ever since I was 10. All types of dogs and requests and breeds. I’m at home unless I’m running to the grocery store or doing an extracurricular activity. I can be here for your fur babies when you have to be away. 😻 I have a 6ft fenced yard. I have the ability to separate my yard into 6 different areas at nearly half an acre. I have multiple kennels and some with tops and grooming and bathing equipment. In home day care is heavily screened. Your dog will not have access to the inside of my home, kids, or my pets for in my home day care. Large outdoor area and garage kennels will be fully accessible. Kennels are cleaned with vet rescue which kills parvo. Fresh water in kennels and outside. All are properly sanitized. Health and safety is top priority for everyone. Puppies not fully vaccinated I’ll be in a separate area. Walks, my children will be attending if dogs are child friendly.

“Brittany was awesome taking care of our cats in our home. She was reliable, came in every day, changed their litter, gave them some TLC, and sent us photos and video. We will ask her again next time for sure.”

About: I am fun but professional. I know how to teach dogs to shake & roll over. Some dogs take longer to learn. I have lived with animals almost my whole life, labs and cats, and have house sat with dogs and cats. I can pet sit full time, or fill in the gaps in between if needed. I am here to be flexible for your demanding schedule. Each pet will have a morning and evening routine. This is important so that they are happy and listen to commands given unless they are cats. Cats run differently than dogs do, but both are equally loved. I only care currently for small dogs and cats, but would be open to labs. They will be watched after as if they were my own.

About: I am a homeowner with an acre of land to play. We have 4 friendly dogs, 3 chihuahuas and 1 American Staffordshire that are spoiled and love playmates. My husband and I have raised dogs for over a decade and have experience in breeding cats and dogs. I am also a small Bengal cat breeder registered with The International Cat Association (TICA) and occasionally show our cats. Our dogs and cats have been exposed to other dogs that we have pet sat for in our home. Our home is pet friendly with many toys to play with. I am also an active individual and can walk/jog your dog or even take him or her hiking on pet friendly trails during the warmer season, if desired.

Indian Hills cat parents share their Rover experiences
Could not ask for a better pet sitter. Even when unforseen circumstances arrose she managed to take care of our beloved animals. And she ensured our puppers had lots of love. We had an issues with our automatic cat feeders malfunctioning and she helped make sure they were fed regardless. And we really appreciate how communicative she was answering any and all questions quickly. We'll definitely be using her services in the future.
