About: I've been around animals most of my life, with my own dog and cat and often visiting my grandparents farm and seeing the animals there. Ive pet sat for a variety of dogs and cats before even a horse and understand the multitude of personalities that come with them. I find joy in getting to know your pet and take the time understanding their body language and hearing what they have to say! I am a flexable chill animal lover who enjoys spending time with a furry friend :) I have a very flexable schedule which gives me plenty of time to spend with your pet! Checking in for a walk or potty break is easy and can happen often! I always love going over your comfortably level and what you expect of me on the job! I appreciate finding out the lay of the land with your home and yard when house sitting/check ins and often take notes so ill remember!

About: I am a lifelong cat and dog lover, currently the much fur-covered owner of two black cats who were trained to high five for their daily treats. I have volunteered at our local shelter in the past, work well with both large and small dogs. I believe in positive reinforcement methods and a calm, patient presence, allowing animals to approach me at their own pace. I raised my current set of cats from about 6-weeks old, and have some experience with injections and administering oral meds. If your pet will need medication, I'll ask you to demonstrate your method and leave written instructions. I am a graphic design contractor working remotely, which allows a great deal of flexibility when it comes to locations, scheduling, and the needs of your pets. I try to keep a general 7am-3pm schedule for work, but my tasks are usually flexible, which allows me to adjust free time to allow for walks, exercise, or feeding schedules. If you entrust me with the care of your pets and residence, I will request written pet care guides for your animals so I can maintain their routines and keep them as comfortable as possible while their owners are away. I willl have my phone handy at all times for communication, and will happily snap photos of your pets every day, especially if they are doing something silly.

About: I’ve been taking care of neighborhood dogs and dogs that my parents friends have had since I was in elementary school, and I have an 11 year old miniature poodle mix that I trained myself but I’ve always loved dogs of all breeds. I have experience working with tiny and huge dogs, anxious dogs, reactive dogs, high energy dogs, special needs dogs, untrained dogs, heavy pullers, and puppies of various ages. I’m also quite strong and can handle big/rambunctious/reactive dogs with ease, so you wouldn’t have to worry about whether or not I can safely handle your dog. I’m currently back from college for the summer and don’t have a lot going on (aside from taking care of my own dog) so I’m home and available all day most days (aside from when I occasionally go stay with my long term girlfriend for a weekend or so). I decided to start working with Rover because I love animals and I’m happier when I have such a fun reason to get some exercise and leave my house :) I have a large grassy (and freshly fenced) in backyard to play in and make sure to routinely check the integrity of the fence and that there aren’t any potential hazards in my backyard. My dog is quite the lounge-around-inside-where-it’s-cool type, so if you would want your dog to have some off leash time in my backyard, even reactive and dog aggressive dogs wouldn’t have issues because they wouldn’t be anywhere near my dog. I also make sure to follow house rules and instructions to the letter (and am strictly no shoes in any house ever) and keep my clients updated on how things are going with photos, videos, as well as update messages. All potential clients are encouraged to meet up with me before entrusting their pets to me, and if you have any interest in your dog having some off leash time with me in my backyard I would be more than happy to give you a tour. Not only those things- but any other requests you may have that can help give you peace of mind when it comes to entrusting me with your fluffy loved ones are encouraged.
