About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10, when my friend went on holidays with her family I cycled 6km to her house to walk and feed her dogs. My family got our Sandy, a labradoodle who is the light of our lives 7 years ago. Training, walking and playing with her are some of my favourite things to do on the weekends I visit home. I work full-time as a civil servant, but my hours are flexible. I am available every evening after 5pm and enjoy long walks in Salthill. My weekends are typically quiet so I am available full-time from Friday evening until Monday morning. I am respectful of other people’s spaces and will adhere to any requests as set out. Small dogs may be accommodated in my own house. Each dog will be given long walks and I can provide transport to and from walking areas if needed.

About: I've had pets all my life many dogs and cats I breed fish I've had hedgehogs birds I've introduced wildlife to my home many times currently have a growing frog population. I've nesting birds returning year after year in multiple sheds. The house is surrounded by trees and is away from any main roads it sits in it's own with only farmland around and a trunk road that's only used by tractors mainly there's just one other house at the end of the road. The location is quiet peaceful and relaxing for anybody or any pet. It's also an on going project if mine. I also have one collie I've had since he was a pup he's my best mate and we share the days together. I've trained him myself also. He's a people lover of that there is no doubt and everyone falls in love with him immediately. Your pet will come to a stress free zone and get a ton of attention and made to feel special there's lots of room to explore for the quiet pets who need space there's lots of that too. Pets need calm and theres no dramas here it's safe and your dog can be itself allday long happy in its own world I'm restoring my house I'm currently in so I'm here 24/7 most weeks working on a room at a time I have two houses adjoined to each other which allows for alot of flexibility also I have multiple sheds that I'm transitioning which can be used for many purposes they are well built and directly next to the house. If I needed to I can convert them to shelters very quickly. The house is surrounded with strong border fences all around there's only one road in . And it's fields for as far as you can see. It's as safe as it gets .

About: My name is Shauna, I'm a full-time vetted dog sitter based in Abbeyknockmoy, Co.Galway. I'm the proud owner of House of Paws 🐾 my own dog-sitting business. I’ve been working as a pet sitter full-time for 4 years. I competed in dog shows (both IKC & agri) all over Ireland for nearly a decade so I have a lot of experience handling dogs of different sizes. I have a 4 year old Golden Retriever named Zeus, he is well-socialised, loves to play and is a very good companion for any dog that come to stay. I grew up with a variety of breeds at home (Siberian Huskies, Westies, Samoyeds, Labradors). Pet sitting is my full-time job, it’s completely built into my daily and weekly routine. I plan my days around the dogs in my care – from walks and playtime to feeding and keeping them on their usual routine. Whether it’s daycare, walks, overnight stays, house sitting or check-ins, I’m fully dedicated to giving each dog my full attention and care like they’re my own. I've been dog sitting full time for 4 years now and have gained a wealth of knowledge by caring for dogs of different temperaments and personalities. I prioritise safety, trust, and a calm environment for every pet in my care. Whether I’m providing in-home dog sitting, daycare, or drop-in visits, I always follow each pet’s routine to help them feel secure and settled. I take the time to build trust, respect their space, and ensure they receive the same level of care and attention as I would give my own. You can feel confident knowing your dog is in experienced, reliable hands ☺️ I understand that not all dogs thrive in a kennel environment- this is why I offer limited boarding and daycare slots per day. Your dog will stay inside in our home, there are no kennels and crates. Your pup will be in a home from home setting to ensure that they have a positive experience.

About: Growing up on a farm has helped me gain plenty of experience with animals. I have always had a passion and a love for them. They are the most amazing, gentle creatures and also the best company. I currently own a little west highland terrier so my day to day consists of early walks through the woods or scenic walks on the beach and plenty of cuddles when it’s time to wind down in the evening. We take a ball on our walk to play and plenty of treats when we get home. I live in a house which has a big fenced garden and also a good sized living area/kitchen where your baby can relax and cuddle up. I have a little fur baby myself which will keep yours company. She is super friendly and enjoys the company herself.

About: Hi, my name is Paula. I have always loved dogs. As a little kid I used to be around them all the time, I remember I always had the time of my life playing with them. Now, they are my best friends and one big part of my life. If you are looking for a trusting and reliable person who loves spending time with dogs then I'm the right person for the job! :) I'm currently unemployed, and trying to make a bit of money to pay rent. About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a little girl, and some of my fondest memories are from going on walks with my dogs. I currently can’t have my own pets so I’d love to spend time with other people’s fur babies! I currently work hybrid so I’m flexible to pop in and out as your pet pals need, able to do early mornings or late nights too I understand well how pets have their own personalities and needs, so I’m incredibly willing to be briefed by any pet owners as to their pets needs and nerves so as to provide the most comfortable experience possible

About: I had two dogs in the family growing up and more recently trusted with a friend's cat when they're away, since then I've been providing services on Rover since Autumn 2023, looking after a variety of dogs in all shapes and sizes - walking, feeding, bathing, cleaning up, nothing is off the table, I'm positive you'll find a trusted pet carer in me. I work full time, but have a couple of days in the week where I work from home, that being said most of my availability will fall on Friday evenings or the weekend unless discussed in advance. An average service when pet sitting in your home would include: full bowl 'fresh' water and a full bowl of pet food on arrival, taking your pet out for their business frequently as desired (varying on individual pet), a shower if required, kitty litter / dog dropping clean if/when required. I'm intuitive and willing to take on specific instructions catered to your pet, I have experience providing oral medication to anxious and allergic dogs on separate occasions.
