“Ally has been an absolute blessing. My original sitter had a scheduling conflict for about a week and I was fortunate Ally was available to fill in. I'd actually considered her to be the original sitter but the only reason I didn't was because I managed to find a sitter who was in the same apartment complex as me, which gave me peace of mind in case my pet had any emergencies. The initial meet and greet went very smoothly. She brought a notebook and I felt like a professor as she took notes while I explained the care duties. She was diligent with her questions and, during the visits, I never found myself having to repeat any of the instructions I'd given. My cat (who took almost a year to warm up to me) warmed up to her within minutes, which totally didn't make me jealous. It's always a plus when your pet gives you the greenlight. I chose the 60-min visit option and I know it can get repetitive and boring doing the same things every visit but she showed absolutely no signs of an "I'm just here for a paycheck" attitude. Her Rover cards always contained detailed descriptions of my cat's eating and bathroom habits, as well as his general demeanor and what they both did during the visits. And the pictures wouldn't just be the same pose shot from different angles either. All in all, she took care of my boy as if he were her own, which is honestly all I'd hoped for. As she's only a block away from me, she's definitely my first choice if I ever need a sitter again.”

About: My first job was being the neighborhood pet sitter in high school and I instantly fell in love with getting to know and care for so many unique animals. While I’m new to the Rover family, family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors have trusted me with their pet family for over 10 years. I’ve cared for both cats and dogs and aquatics animals. From Turtle to Tabi cat to Great Dane! I have experienced with senior animals, puppy’s and medication administration. I’d love to chat about your pets individual needs to adapt and care for them the best way possible. When I come to run, play, walk or lounge with you pet my time with be spent loving them and making sure they’re comfortable with you’re away. Im also comfortable with taking them to dog parks. I’m a pet parent myself so my day starts and ends with my pup! I’m typically free from 9am-2:30pm before heading to work to walk, run, play or lounge with your pet. Mondays and Tuesdays I have a completely free schedule to work around for your needs. Wed-Sunday I’m free from 9am-2:30pm before heading to work to walk, run, play or lounge with your pet. I am off work between 9-10 (depends on the day) and can come back to continue care. Respecting both your home and your pets boundaries is a huge priority for me. Whatever makes your pet feel comfortable in my care comes first. I’d love to chat about what your daily routine looks like with your pet to make sure they’re best cared for

About: I use to work on Rover before the pandemic. I loved it, I love animals dogs especially.I have had pets my whole life. I have never met a dog that hasn’t liked me, i also am a reiki practitioner and am always willing to do some on a pet with obviously your consent. I love walking so why not walk some dogs in the process. I’m into fitness and getting into shape and what is the best way to do that then with a pet♥️ I love others pets like my own. I will hug them scratch them kiss them and cuddle them. My animals are spoiled and I plan on spoiling yours♥️

About: Hello. I’ve taken care of friends’ & family’s pets such as going on walks, watching over the weekend & drop-ins for potty breaks or walks. I am a nurse & feel comfortable administering medication as needed. I work from home & have the ability to be flexible with my schedule from day to day. I am also available on the weekends. I have 4 cats who all have plentiful cat trees, scratching posts, toys & hiding places. I do not own a dog but do help with drop-ins for potty breaks & walks as needed, for family & friends pets.

About: I’ve owned and cared for animals my entire life. I currently have a 3 year old dog named Rosco and prior to him had a 13.5 year old lab. My entire immediate family has dogs in which I spend a lot of time with including having them with us while on vacations, ect. Your dog will be treated like another family member in our home and will have plenty of play time with our pooch and kids!! I work monday-friday dayshift, home by 4pm with all weekends and holidays off. My husband works 12 hour days and has several days off during the week. Someone is currently always home with my 3 year old son so it would be seldom that your pooch would be without someone. I live on 2 acres so there is plenty of space to play outdoors. I am with the dogs while they’re outside or watching since it is not a fenced in yard. I have a very friendly playful pooch at home. I also have 2 children that are used to having dogs and pets so they are good with animals and love having them stay with us. Dogs are free to roam the home, lounge on furniture or beds.

About: Hello, my name is Xavier. I'm an Airforce veteran of 12 years and counting! I've taken care of dogs, cats, and other animals since I was a child. I've always grown up with both large and small dogs. Currently, I'm an owner of 3 cats and 2 golden retrievers. In my military career, I've gotten the chance to train and work with military working dogs oversees! Animals have always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. As a pet owner myself, my days are built around feeding, walks, playtime, exercise, and making sure my animals get plenty of attention and companionship. I’m used to caring for multiple pets and balancing their individual needs with my daily schedule. Currently, I work 3 days a week as an RN in the ICU. Not only is my background in healthcare, I also have a military background, so being dependable, organized, and consistent with routines comes naturally to me. Whether it’s daily walks, scheduled feedings, medications, potty breaks, or simply spending quality time together, I’m comfortable incorporating each pet’s specific routine into my day. I treat the pets in my care with the same attention and responsibility that I give my own. SAFETY - Safety is one of the number one priorities for your baby. - I always ensure the tables are cleared and nothing can be easily grabbed. - If your dog goes outside, they're always visualized and monitored. - If going for a walk, the route will always be provided. Schedule/Potty Breaks - Potty breaks will always be provided every hour or if the "ques" are given. - Feeding schedules will always be honored and asked about. Environment - Safety is always the number one priority. - They will never be taken to the dog park without the owners permission. - Comfortable and relaxing environment will always be provided. - If conducting a night stay in my home, a meet and greet will always be requested to ensure there is compatibility.

About: I have been helping my parents with their pets for the past 15 years. At the age of 13 I was given my own puppy, which helped me understand the responsibility that it takes to care for animals. I pride myself in being a trustworthy and caring person, who loves to spend time with animals. I currently am in school for nursing so my schedule varies. I try to find free time every week to get outside and move, which is why I am looking for the opportunity to spend time with animals while I do this. I have found that animals tend to respond better to calm and collected persons, so I pride myself on staying calm under pressure. Many of the families that I have pet sit for in the past complimented my patience and caring nature.
