“Best walker I’ve had yet! Actually took my dog to a nice trail instead of just walking around the neighborhood, and sent plenty of pictures that showed she was clearly elated! I can tell she has a true love for dogs :)”

“Taylor was great! She came over the day before to meet the doggies. Even though the times I originally requested were a little difficult for her schedule that day (it was last minute,) she did all she could to make it as close as possible- and ended up being there about the time I had requested anyway. I scheduled two visits in one day, and while I said the second visit only needed to be a feed and let out in the yard - she asked if they could still go for a walk. :) She was also very observant and noticed a small scratch on one of my dogs, sent a photo, and asked if I wanted her to treat it. I really appreciate all the attentiveness; and the above and beyond she provided for my babies. Most importantly, the dogs seemed to really like her too. :) We are already planning for her to return. Thank you!”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and my world has always revolved around them. I have a 14-year-old Shiba Inu named Ginger, a 2-year-old cat named Frankie, and a 6-month-old kitten named Theo who I love more than anything. I have experience with animals of all ages, from puppies and kittens to seniors. I know how stressful it is for pets and parents when you have to leave town, but I’m dedicated to doing whatever I can to keep your pets happy and comfortable in your absence. I have a super flexible remote job, so I’m able to work around your pets’ schedules and needs! It’s super important to me that your pets maintain their routine even when you’re gone. I’m super flexible when it comes to petcare arrangements. I have three pets of my own, but can offer boarding for fully vaccinated animals. If your pet is friendly and comfortable, I’m happy to let them socialize if you’d like, but I can also arrange a separate, private bedroom when boarding to keep your pet isolated if needed. I work remotely, so I’m home all day to keep your pet company. If you’d prefer drop-in visits, I have a super flexible schedule!

About: Your pet's well-being is my top priority. My extensive experience includes working at Wayside Waifs animal shelter when I was 18, followed by another shelter post-college, and then managing a pet store. This hands on background, combined with my experience from fostering over 60 animals, has given me a great understanding of diverse pet personalities and needs. I have a special place in my heart for senior pets and am confident in caring for animals with special needs, including oral medications and providing care for blind dogs. Rest assured, your dogs and cats will be well cared for with me. My schedule offers considerable flexibility, I work short shifts and I am able to accommodate several visits throughout the day. If I cannot come at the exact time requested, I will provide a couple of alternative time slots in hopes that we can find something that works well for everyone. When I receive a request for a in home visit or dog walk, one of my first questions is "How would you like me to use this time with your pets?" I understand that each animal can have very different needs and wants! Do you have an energetic dog that needs a good long walk or time to play outside? Do you have any cats or dogs that need some extra time (and maybe treats!) to warm up to me? I want to give you and your pets the best and most comfortable experience possible. Additionally, I take several pictures during each visit to let you see how they're doing.

“Jennie is awesome! We needed someone to come over and let our 2 dogs out mid-day, walk them and play with them a bit. She has gone above and beyond and has exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend her. She’s a star!”

About: I am not afraid to give medications, I walk as long as the client desires, I don't cut corners with the care I offer. I make my clients' schedules my priority. Pet-sitting is a full-time passion for me. My schedule is basically open. Filling my time with pet- and house- care also fills my heart. This is what I love, helping people and the animals in their lives. I get all the vet and emergency info when I first meet the client. I ask about plant care, mail retrieval, the pets' typical schedule, and locations of important and necessary items for the animals' care. I take care of things the way I would want my own house and pets taken care of.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life! Being around dogs is therapeutic! I have experience in puppy age, elderly dogs, pets with disabilities or requiring medicine! Every dog is different and we treat every pet to their needs! I am an active duty servicemember and my wife works from home. Flexibility is not an issue. Your pet will be cared for in our cooled home and someone will always be with the fur babies. We have surveillance cameras when we are not home. Our two Rottweilers are not aggressive, cuddle bears, [crate] trained, and have excellent recall. Our backyard is large and is already separated for large and small dogs. We have security surveillance around the property. In your property, I will ensure it is secure and safe for your pet.

About: i’ve taken care of my neighbors 3 dogs since I was in 8th grade. I worked at a boarding facility for all dog breeds for about a year. I was relied upon to feed, walk, and give medicine to these pets and I love every second of it! Watching pups and kitties is what I do full time now! I have a new puppy and and a kitty at home and when i’m at college at miss them so much so this is a great way to channel that love into your pets! I am a college student studying pre-law so right now so my classes on Monday and Wednesday end at 1 or 2, and on the rest of the week they end at 11! I’m very active in my sorority, so sometimes my schedule can be a little busy, but I will always communicate that before booking anything so you feel comfortable leaving your furry babies with me! I can crate your pets whenever needed and make sure that they are well taken care of due to many potty breaks, feeding, and of course so much love!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all ages for many years, and have 2 rescue pups. I work from home so I’m able to let give them plenty of attention throughout the day. I treat my dogs like my children and will do the same for yours! Working from home allows me to be available to give lots of love and frequent potty breaks. My dogs are let out every couple hours. When the weather is nice, the dogs get lots of play time in the yard! You can expect plenty of pics and updates of your pup during their stay. I live in a single family home with a spacious fenced in backyard for the pups to play and exercise. I have a doggy door, as well a gated doggy run and a large playpen inside (see pics). My dogs sleep in my bed, so I’m more than happy to allow your dog to sleep in bed with me, or I can crate them at night and when away if that's their typical routine. My home is safe and secure with a video security system inside and out so I can monitor the pups if I'm away.

About: I always had dogs and cats growing up so being around animals is nothing new to me. The most I lived with at one time was 3 cats and 4 dogs and it wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows of course, but I love and care for the animals like they are family. It’s important that your fur baby is good with kids because my two will be helping make their stay feel like home. Your fur baby will get lots of love and attention! I am a band director August-May so being a teacher is my main job. Although I love it, it is not very lucrative - so working with Rover is a summer funds supplement. I’ve held temporary jobs that had little to no personal meaning but getting the opportunity to spend time caring for animals seems to give it a bit more of a purpose, which I enjoy. Looking forward to meeting your fur family! My daily routine is very relaxed in the summer because I’m off as a teacher. My family is home most days other than the occasional summer outing. We do not have a fenced yard but we love to visit the dog park! Twin Lakes is our favorite. We also live in a quiet neighborhood and have the ability to go on walks whenever we like.

About: I grew up in the country surrounded by all types of animals. Pups, cats, bunnies, goats, guinea pigs were all part of my life growing up and giving them a good life meant the world to me. Regardless of the animal it's gonna get a world of enthusiasm and love. I'm currently a full time student but I have time during Wednesday, Fridays and weekends that I would very much like to spend helping take care of pets. I think the best way to keep any pet safe and cared for is to simply be present. That and being mindful of any special needs or wants of the pet.

“Sam is the BEST! Our dog loved when Sam came to walk her AND I loved knowing she was getting exceptional care and love! Our baby is higher energy and so having that extra walk a day when we are super busy was so helpful to keep her healthy. We will be booking again!”

Rebecca W.
“I would like to share my recommendation for Becca, who took great pleasure in caring for my dog Chase while me and my family went out of the country for a few weeks. From the very beginning, Becca, showed a deep love and understanding of animals. Chase is a 70 pound rottweiler and pitbull mix and can be "too much at times" he loves attention and requires to be pet at all times. She was so attentive to my dog needs , ensuring he had water, food , lots of attention and even went out of her way to send me regular updates and pictures. Chase was excited and happy in her care, which says a lot about Becca's ability to make pets feel safe and loved. I highly recommend Becca for any pet sitting needs. She is reliable , caring and someone i truly trust to care for my dog. Sincerely, Carol B”

Jessie K.

“Jessie did a great job with our 3 dogs, 2 boxers and one little Boston terrier. Very happy with Jessie and would definitely recommend!!”

Zoe A.
“I worked with Zoe at a dog daycare, boarding, and grooming facility for ~8 months, and she is very much an animal lover. She is hard-working, dedicated, and thorough with her work, and loves cats and dogs. She is assertive when she needs to be, and loving and playful when the time is right. She is a quick learner and is also able to pick up on dog body language, positive and negative, and control an animal if necessary. She is careful with rules, on time with procedures, and thoroughly a great worker. She will give your animals the utmost care and protect their safety at all times.”

Margaret W.Star Sitter

“Margaret was punctual and very nice! She helped my family out in a pinch and did a wonderful job. Would highly recommend to others going forward!”

Ellie N.

“Ellie was friendly and prompt!”

Catlyn W.Star Sitter
“Catlyn is our first call when we have to leave our Milo boy! She welcomes him with open arms, always has the best toys, treats and most importantly has so much love and cuddles to give. Catlyn has a great fenced in backyard for the dogs to play. She will also take them on walks and rides at your dogs comfort of course. Catlyn is also great at accommodating care for all types of dogs, whether they are anxious or hyper she's got it covered. Milo has been making trips to Catlyn's from the time he was a puppy to now (3 years). She's the best and I would highly recommend!”

Jessica B.

“Harry loves his walks and runs with Jessica. He’s getting the exercise he enjoys. Delighted.”

Tiffany L.
“Tiffany is a kind, compassionate, and trustworthy person who would be perfect to leave your fur babies with. If she can teach a room full of 30 teenagers all day long, she is more than qualified to hang out with your pup and show them lots of love while you're away. I highly recommend!”

Lucas K.

“Lucas is awesome! Always are fav when we go out of town.”

Vincent S.
“Vincent is an empathetic person who is thoughtful of humans and animals alike. He has a deep love for nature and all critters. I have known him his entire life and watched his compassion for all creatures, his pets included, grow from an early age. He is responsible in the care of animals, making sure their physical and emotional needs are met. He has a wide range of experience from farm livestock to small fragile pets. He treats pets with dignity to ensure they are comfortable, safe, and happy. Animals love his calm demeanor, and they are drawn to his tenderness. He is responsible and I would trust him with any animal.”
