About: I will treat your fur baby as my own. I have a beautiful large home with a super large fenced yard. No Cages. I also provide walks within our quiet tree lined neighborhood. I am home all day to provide playtime with your pet. I am new to listing on Rover, and have in the past only went by recommendation. I am home all day, work part time from my home office. I have experience working with rescue organizations and offer foster care to animals requiring special attention. Currently in service dog training courses with my Australian Shepard. I work from home most days, so pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m only away from home for about six hours on two days each week. Outside of work, I spend much of my time with my animals, gardening, and enjoying our little homestead—especially when the weather is nice! About: Dogs have been a part of my life since I was ten years old, and I have seventeen years of hands-on experience as a dog owner and caregiver in my adulthood. Family, friends, and neighbors have also trusted me to care for their dogs. I have experience with puppies through senior dogs, including puppy training and reinforcing established routines. I am comfortable administering medications and caring for senior dogs and dogs with medical needs, and I am CPR certified. My own dog was my baby and truly like a son to me. We spent seventeen years together before he recently passed away in April. He traveled with me, went everywhere with me, and was a huge part of my life. Being a devoted dog owner myself taught me how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else's care. I will treat your dog with the same love, patience, attention, and respect I gave my own. I work full-time during the week, so I am primarily available for boarding and daycare on weekends and holidays, when I can devote plenty of time and attention to the dogs in my care. If your dog is comfortable being home alone during my workday, weekday care may also be possible, and we can discuss your dog's individual routine and needs beforehand. When I am caring for your dog, I want their normal routine to remain as consistent as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications, bathroom breaks, and bedtime routines. I live in a quiet home with a securely fenced backyard where your dog can safely spend time outside. I will only host 3 small or 2 medium dogs at a time. Dogs are welcome on my couches and beds, and if your dog normally sleeps with you, they are welcome to sleep with me too. I want my home to feel like their home while they are staying with me. I believe you know your dog better than anyone, so I will follow your care instructions closely. That includes feeding schedules, medications, walks, sleeping arrangements, training routines, house rules, and any special needs or preferences. I also pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy, and overall comfort. My priority is making sure your dog is safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while giving you peace of mind while you're away.
“Dan and Denise are AWESOME!! I had a family emergency during the coronavirus crisis and had to find a sitter for my brother's six year old pitbull, Blue, ASAP. I went on Rover.com and sent an email to Dan at 3:00 A.M. asking if he could take care of Blue for us, not just for a few days but almost a month! To my surprise, Dan answered me immediately! We arranged for a "greet and meet" the next day and fortunately Dan and Denise were able to take Blue in that very same day. I was so afraid Blue was going to have separation anxiety and be distressed since he has always been with my brother - that fear quickly subsided with Dan and Denise reassuring me he would be well looked after and they had taken care of many, many dogs, including pitties. Well, Blue was one SPOILED pup during his stay! Dan and Denise have a beautiful home, a large fenced in yard for their doggie guests to play in and the T.L.C. is first class! Each day, I would receive a text update and either a video or picture from Denise and Dan showing Blue running in the yard, snoozing in bed, hanging out in the living room or laying next to Denise in her office. I was able to go see Blue several times during his extended stay and he was always content and happy! I cannot thank Dan and Denise enough for their kindness to Blue and our family during this difficult time and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them !!”

Isabella took amazing care of Abby. We have never left our sweet girl with anyone before and we were anxious to say the least. Caroline was so wonderful with my very highly energetic pup! My dog has high energy and is still only 1 so is still training/learning. She came home after 3 days with new skills and listening better than ever. I got video and picture updates of my pup clearly as happy as could be. I will absolutely be using caroline again. We had such a great experience with Annabelle watching our Luca! This was our first time leaving him with a dog sitter who wasn’t family or a close friend, and our first time using Rover. Annabelle made the entire experience so easy and reassuring. She had great communication from our initial meet-and-greet through the entire stay and sent us pictures of Luca throughout, which really put us at ease.
