About: My whole life as long as I remember I was the biggest pet lover. I had my own pets and I’ve taken care and walked the dogs of my neighborhood. I just love them. I work part time, which gives me a lot of time to do my favorite thing: pet sitting!!! I work part time and have a lot of time for my favorite hobby which is caring for these lovely creatures. About: I’ve had several pets all growing up, ranging from turtles, to birds, to dogs! I have had 5+ dogs that I’ve owned throughout my life! My friends and family go to me to walk/take care of their pets and/or give them advice about them. I am currently free during all time of the day! I have open availability for all week days, and could potentially be available some weekends as well. I will walk your dog for however long you need me to. I have no problem with long walks and lots of exercise as I’m usually in the gym about 5 days a week, leading me to be pretty fit and diligent for things like that. For 25 years, I did pet sitting and house sitting in the Boston area before moving to Puerto Rico 13 years ago. The first month I lived there, I found a box of kittens in the road. I have been a rescuer since, being one of few who take on the most challenging cases. I have saved hundreds, if not thousands, of dogs and cats over the years and I have seen it all. Nothing intimidates me or grosses me out. I will give baths, dispense medications, clean up accidents, whatever is needed. I am 58 years old and am very reliable and trustworthy. I am 58 years old and do not work anymore so my availability is wide open. I do sometimes go to Puerto Rico where I am in the process of selling my home but the dates for those trips are flexible. I generally find that caring for pets in their own home is ideal as they really do appreciate routine, stability, and a familiar environment. However, I am certainly willing to care for them in my home as well and offer a fully fenced in back yard for dogs. There is an 11 lb dog at my house but he is used to cats and dogs coming and going so he should not pose a problem (or I can separate them, if preferred). In terms of routine, I am willing to adapt to whatever you have established and have no problem with giving medications, baths, or any other special care needed. With 13 years of rescuing in Puerto Rico and 25 years of pet care before that, I have seen it all (and nothing grosses me out!). If you like frequent updates and photos, no problem. If you like to relax and not think about home when you are away, no problem. Your beloved pets are in safe, loving hands.
