âWhat would I do without these ladies? They're timely, flexible, and send great pics of my doggy when they visit him! They play inside with him when it's too hot to go out, and let him rest when he wants to. They're a relief to us both!â

About: Your pup will be barking up the RIGHT tree (NOT đľ) with tail wagging walks and cozy snuggles and plenty of playtime in our spacious backyard. I'm a longtime dog lover and devoted dog mom to a sweet 5-year old goldendoodle named Henry (shhh, he still thinks he's a puppy). I totally understand the quirks that come with our furry friends. I'm all about creating a safe, happy environment where your pup feels right at home. Whether it's yard play, a stroll through the neighborhood, or just couch snuggles, I meet dogs where they are with calm energy, patience and lots of love. I've cared for everything from high-energy pups to those with a bit of separation anxiety. From zoomies to zen time, your dog's in good hands here. Reliable. Loving. A little goofy, in all the best ways. Let's make tails wag and noses boop! I work from home, which means I've got a super flexible schedule and plenty of time for tail wags and potty breaks! From morning walks to midday playtime to evening cuddles, I can adjust to whatever fits best with your pet's routine and your schedule. Creating a safe, comfortable environment is my top priority. I know how stressful it can be to leave your pup behind. I feel the same way with Henry all the time, which is why I go the extra mile to make sure every dog feels secure and cared for. I stick to familiar routines, provide lots of personalized attention and keep every space is calm, clean and pet-friendly. Your dog will be treated like family.
âMaggie was absolutely amazing! If I could give her 6 stars I would. From the moment we met her we could tell how caring she was and how much she loves animals. She was so good with our little chihuahua and was amazing about sending updates with photos and videos. We are so thankful we found Maggie and hope to work with her again in the future. If you are looking for someone to take good care of your fur baby, look no further! Maggie is hands down the best!â¤ď¸â

About: Weâve been house sitting and dog walking for 3 years, and in that time weâve cared for a wide variety of pets with different personalities and needs. We have looked after five pets at onceâthree dogs and two catsâfor over a week, including a rescue dog who was still learning basic training. With her, we practiced patience, gentle guidance, and lots of positive reinforcement. Weâve also cared for kittens, lizards, and dogs with specific routines or medical needs, so we are comfortable adapting to whatever your pet requires. Whether itâs daily walks, structured feedings, playtime, or simply helping shy or anxious pets feel safe, we make sure every animal gets the attention and love they deserve. Your pets will be treated with kindness, consistency, and genuine care every time Iâm with them. Pet care fits naturally into our routines because we both work remotely, which means we can be home throughout the day and can give pets consistent attention. Whether we are hosting or visiting, weâre able to check in often, keep up with feeding and playtime, and make sure pets never feel alone for long. Since our schedules are flexible, we also have plenty of time for dog walking at any time of dayâmorning, afternoon, or evening. Our routines allow us to be fully present, reliable, and attentive to whatever your pet needs. When caring for pets in my clientâs home, we always follow their routine as closely as possible. We stick to the petâs usual feeding schedule, keep their space clean, refresh water often, and make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and comfort. We are careful with doors, gates, and safety instructions, and always leave the home exactly how we found it. When walking dogs, weâll use the leash and equipment the owner prefers, pay close attention to their behavior, and make sure they get a safe, enjoyable walk at their pace.
About: Hi! Iâm Nicole, an experienced dog walker and pet sitter with over five years of professional pet care experience, plus a lifetime of caring for my own pets. Before moving into healthcare, I owned and operated a successful dog care business, so I know how important reliability, safety, and routine are for pets. Iâm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, and Iâm especially skilled at caring for pets who need medication, extra reassurance, or a calm, steady presence. I also have experience with multi-pet households, cats, and other small animals. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and housesitting check-ins (no overnight stays) with flexible scheduling weekdays and weekends. Whether your pet needs a mid-day walk, quick check-in, or extra playtime and cuddles, I tailor each visit to their needs and personality. Services I Offer: Dog Walks: Tailored to your dogâs energy level; calm or adventurous. Drop-In Visits: Feeding, potty breaks, playtime, medication administration, photo updates. Housesitting Check-Ins: Water plants, bring in mail, keep an eye on your home; available for longer visits nearby. Repeat Booking Discounts: Ask me about weekly or recurring visit pricing. I have flexible availability during both weekdays and weekends for dog walks and drop-in visits, making it easy to fit into your regular routine or provide last-minute support when needed. Whether your pet needs a mid-day walk, a quick check-in, or some extra playtime and affection, Iâm happy to help. Your petâs comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities. I follow your routines, accommodate special needs or behaviors, and send photo updates so you can relax knowing theyâre in good hands.
About: I would love to take care of your baby! You can feel comfort and relax knowing our family loves dogs and will treat them as part of our own. Grew up with dogs, owned 2 English bulldogs for 13 years and have dropped in many times for pet-sitting for folks on vacations, etc. I know how important peace of mind is when you have to leave your furry loved ones. I have flexibility and whatever your dog needs to be happy while you are away is fine with me! If they like walks or just want to play and hang out, etc. We live in a cul-de-sac, yard is not fenced, so all potty breaks will be monitored and on leash. Lots of neighborhood to walk if needed. We do not have a dog right now, so...friendly kiddos around after school to help give them all the attention they can get! We also welcome small stock animal care if you go out of town (rabbit, Guinea pig, turtle, etc) We have 1 rabbit with a spare cage on top! I'm a Mom, & also working part time hours so I have a flexible schedule. Love to get out and go for walks myself and love pet companions to join! Your baby is my baby when here! Our yard is large but unfenced. So all potty breaks are leashed and done with me. (And frequent as well). Can help crate train if you wish too.
âAzul loves Rachel she walks at her pace and Rachel is very responsible. Azul seems happy when she comes back home and when Rachel comes to pick her up for her walk Azul is very happy.â

About: 8+ years caring for dogs, cats, and special needs pets â patient, gentle, and always treating your pets like my own. Iâm comfortable with seniors, puppies, shy pets, and administering medication. At home, I share life with my âdoggie brotherâ Scottie (a sweet, sociable dog) and my own âdoggie sonâ Colby (a playful corgi puppy). Living with them has given me daily, hands-on experience meeting different needs and personalities. I adapt my care so every pet feels safe, happy, and loved. Expect regular updates, photos, and a whole lot of tail wags (or purrs!). Iâm available every day, including most evenings, and can work with a variety of schedules. Pet care is my main focus, so you can count on consistent, reliable service. Iâm happy to accommodate both regular bookings and last-minute needs (for boarding or house sitting, I prefer 3â5 daysâ notice when possible). I mainly serve the Tanque Verde area and nearby neighborhoods. My home is quiet, low-traffic, and pet-friendly â perfect for boarding. Message me with your dates or special requests, and Iâll do my best to make it work! Your petâs comfort and safety are my top priorities. I tailor care to each petâs unique personality, creating a calm, loving environment that feels like home. For Dogs: My home is fully equipped for canine guests â multiple comfy beds, fresh food and water bowls, high-quality dog food, puzzle toys for mental stimulation, leashes for walks, grooming supplies, dental care items, and plenty of healthy treats. A secure fenced yard provides safe, supervised outdoor time. For Cats: I have cozy cat beds, scratching posts, and toys ready for play. To keep your catâs routine familiar, I ask owners to bring their own litter box, litter, food, medications, and any favorite items that bring comfort. This helps reduce stress and make the transition smooth. Meet My Resident Pets: ⢠Scottie (West Highland Terrier): Gentle with cats and friendly with all dogs. Experienced in living harmoniously with cats. Greets politely and gives space after an initial sniff. ⢠Colby (Pembroke Welsh Corgi): A playful puppy with great adaptability, quick to settle after meeting new friends. Always friendly, even with bigger dogs. Both are fully vaccinated, well-socialized, and groomed regularly. Theyâre used to meeting new pets and can be kept separate if your pet prefers solo time. What You Can Expect: I follow all owner instructions carefully, maintain a clean pet-friendly space, and provide the right mix of play, exercise, and relaxation. Whether your pet loves cuddles or active play, theyâll get individualized attention and care â so you can travel with peace of mind.
About: Along with my babysitting jobs growing up, I also cared for the fur babies. Everything from bunnies to fish and even turtles. I will always take special requests and read any details to make sure I give the furbabies the upmost care I can provide. I don't have experience specifically with special needs animals, but I will take my time to make sure I meet all their needs. Ive raised multiple senior pets in my own home. I will give the furbabies no matter what stage of life their in. I will water plants, give medicine and provide any grooming needs. If supplies are provided, I will clean up any messes. Ive recently had some medical issues keeping me from working my normal 9-5. Im the second income in the household, so this will be apart of my new full time work, working for myself. Taking care of pets is all dependent on them. Whatever care they need, I will provide. Im definitely a crazy cat lady and I won't hear a single word of a conversation if im petting a dog. All animals deserve what makes them thrive. I will probably give too many treats for the adorable faces.
About: I have 12+ years of experience with rescuing and fostering dogs in my home. I have 1 dog that receives daily walks, home-made treats and lots of love and attention. I work from home full time and am available for drop-in visits/walks on days when your pets will be left alone for an extended period of time. I would love the opportunity to either stop in for a play visit/potty break and/or take your dogs for a walk. I always use a dog walker on days when I will be gone for an extended period of time as well as when I travel so I understand the importance of providing that service to others. I have fostered hospice dogs, puppies and senior dogs. Being a foster means being flexible and adaptable to any situation. I work from home so your pet will very rarely (if at all) be left alone. I have flexibility to walk dogs at different times throughout the day. I have a secure fenced yard and 1 dog of my own to keep your pet company. I am also able to crate your dog if that makes them more comfortable.
About: I have cared for a variety of pets, and will do my best to make them comfortable while you are away! I have cared for all ages. I would love to care for your animal! I am available for walks various times throughout the day, depending on the week. Weekends are great, especially if you donât expect me to be with them all day! I am flexible with my schedule, if it shows I have a booking, it may not be one where I have to be there all the time; In which case I would happy to help you out as well! Always ask if you donât like the price, or if Iâm already booked. I may be reserving my time in case something personal comes up :) Safety is my number one priority, for everyone involved! At the end of the day, I am here to earn a little money while hanging out with pets, and letting owners gain some peace of mind while theyre away; not to rip you off or anything like that. Let me help you by letting me know what works best for you! When I pet sit, I like to give the pet a variety of stimulation. Playing with toys can be fun, followed by physical stimulation (pets!), and walks or play dates with other pets if allowed! Of course if they are on a schedule thatâs different! If overnight sitting, I prefer to sleep with the pet, when allowed, but I understand if thats not feasible or I might not spend the night. I like pets in pens as little as possible, but sometimes its unavoidable. When walking, I prefer at least 20 minute walks, with my ideal walk being 45 to 90 minutes. I like to bring dog bags with me as well as a rubber water bowl and maybe some toys if theres a park nearby. If you just want me to hang with your pet for a bit, I would love to! I love to hang out with pets - at parties that usually where youâre going to find me, but their safety and comfort is important to me, so if we can match, Iâd be happy to spend time with them!
âJulianna walked our dog while he was boarding. The staff at his boarding place said that he would come back confident and strutting around to show off to the other dogs â thanks Julianna!â

Houghton dog parents share their Rover experiences
Alora is reliable, sensitive, and communicative. She's super tuned into Cooper when walking him. Example: she let me know he had been limping briefly during their walk, though he discharged the pebble or whatever had been bothering his paw. I really appreciate that level of sensitivity and communication!

Megan was an awesome dog walker for my golden! When I came home from work my dog was super happy and tuckered out from having really excellent walks and play time with Megan which is exactly what I was looking for! The report cards that she gave were excellent with lots of good information that I appreciated! I highly recommend Megan!
