“Connor (CK) took great care of Roxy while we were out of town for 3 days. He took her on walks and to the dog park, and provided lots of attention. He followed our instructions and took good care of our home. He sent pics and a report each day. She was calm when we got back home — a sure sign that she was well cared for.”

About: Because I’m in medical school I have a unique perspective on pet care in the sense that I am calm, thorough, and empathetic! I also have a dog of my own with medical needs so I am equipped to care for any pet. I’ve had large dogs, small, dogs, cats, and fish all my life and I would love to help care for your pets too:) I’m currently in medical school so my schedule varies during the weekdays (which I will frequently update) but I can come swing by to take on walks, check-ins, or house-sit. I have most weekends free as well. I am experienced in caring for food aggressive pets, dog-aggressive pets, as well as medically needy pets. I can take large dogs 100+ lbs on leashed walks as well as play in yards with them. I love animals and I know how to keep everyone safe and happy:)

“David was a great sitter for our two cats. He stayed the weekend and the cats were well cared for and our house was in perfect condition when we came home. He sent us pics and updates while we were away which were appreciated. Would totally recommend David to other people looking for a caring and attentive pet sitter!”

“Maura was great- very communicative and sent lots of photos of my dog, Bentley which I appreciated it! I look forward to working with Maura more in the future!”

“This is our second time having Jessica watch our pups and again, she is wonderful. Very attentive and provides great communication. Mindful of our home and keeping things as is. Will definitely request Jessica to watch our dogs again!”

“She is amazing!!! She took care of our cat and dog and also was an amazing house guest, left everything clean and tidy and overall it was a wonderful experience. I will be booking with her again and would recommend her to anyone!”

“This was our first time leaving our dog with someone who wasn’t family and we were very anxious about it, however, Keilah was amazing. She came over to our house and met Millie before we left to ensure a smooth transition. Additionally, she sent updates, pictures, and videos of our pup to reassure us everything was going great. I’m sure Millie will miss her! Cannot recommend enough, we will definitely be using her again in the future. Thank you, Keilah!”

“Sam did an amazing job watching our two dogs while we were out of town. He was communicative and went above and beyond when taking care of the house as well. With a puppy and a German Shepherd, they are quite a handful so I have no qualms in recommending Sam for any pup sitting. :-)”

About: Hi! Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. My love of animals is probably one of my most defining characteristics. I grew up taking care of my family’s dogs & cats, volunteered at a local shelter throughout high school & college, & I now have a dog & 2 cats of my own! I’m also a certified Physician Assistant, so giving medications or injections is no problem! I recently accepted a job where I am able to work partially from home, which allows my schedule to be very flexible in the early afternoon to evening. I’m also available varying weekends depending on my travel plans! I’m very thorough & detail-oriented. I know what it’s like to want your pet to be in the best hands, so that’s what I’m here to offer!

“Kristin was wonderful. She took excellent care of Baxter. They took lots of walks. She went above and beyond. Everything was neat and clean when I got home. She's new to Rover and was perfect. I will definitely use her again.”

“Kristina and Fletcher stayed with our dog for two weeks while we were in Europe. Just before we left, our dog developed both a fear of walking at night due and some gastrointestinal issues. We were extremely worried about leaving her but they gave her lots of love and patience about walking and rolled with her new diet restrictions. They also sent us lots of updates because they knew we were worried. We came back to a happy and healthy dog and are grateful to have had two conscientious dog pros with our girl when we couldn’t be.”

“Laurie is so caring and I would highly recommend. She took great care of my dog and cat. She also, left my home in great condition. I liked her so much I have already booked her again.”

About: I have owned a variety of dogs throughout my life, some bought and some rescued. I know what it is like to go through the ups and downs of raising a dog and I would love to play a role in helping you in that journey! I am an involved and hard worker with a passion for pets. I love going for walks and staying active and am always outside doing something. I can handle energetic dogs and puppies and I don’t mind getting pushed around a little and I am great at giving baths after long nature outing. I do have another job but it is only open on the weekend so I have plenty of free time during the week. I am also pretty flexible when comes to hours as well. I love to have a set idea of do’s and do not’s from a pet owner before I house sit just to make sure I am not overstepping or over correcting and to make sure everyone is safe at all times. I currently do not petsit in my home because of my living situation.

Homewood North pet parents share their Rover experiences
Aidan was an INCREDIBLE sitter for my cat and dog! He was always super communicative and friendly during his stay. Aidan sent regular pictures and updates while I was gone which allowed me to really enjoy my time away on vacation. He followed my instructions to the letter and left my house spotless when I can back. I can’t recommend Aidan enough and will definitely be using his services in the future!

Therese was great with our dogs during the meet & greet and was very conscientious which made us feel comfortable that our dogs would be well taken care of. We got regular updates and photos while we were away and returned to 2 happy, healthy dogs. Would definitely recommend!

Alyssa met up with me and my anxious pup prior to my trip, and I really appreciated that she was happy to do that front-end labor of setting us at ease. Alyssa sent photos and videos to let me know how my dog was doing and even noted when she (the dog) wasn’t eating much, so I could respond with a suggestion. I’ll book this very calm and conscientious caretaker again.

Alex is quite possibly the most attentive cat sitter we've ever had (and we've had a ton). The kitties love him and just behave normally when he's around. He sends tons of updates and pics throughout the day (which we always request but sitters rarely ever actually do this!). We have older cats that have quite the eating schedule and Alex is always totally on it. He's got a perfect cat demeanor: quiet and slow moving and deliberate. It makes us all feel so comfortable! He's our top call for a sitter and has been for quite a while. We'll keep using Alex for our cat-sitting needs as much as we can!

Mariah is awesome! We have used her a few times now and our dog really enjoys her company. Mariah is a respectful house guest and will keep in touch with you as much (or as little) as you want! I feel very comfortable leaving our dog with her for short and extended periods of time!

We’ve used Diana multiple times. She takes such great care of our home and our animals while we are away. She treats your home and pets as if they are her own! She communicates often and takes the BEST pictures of your fur babies! She is the best sitter on Rover hands down! Thank you Diana !!

Once again Virginia was a terrific sitter taking care of our dogs Willow and Roxy while we traveled over a long weekend. We have had her as our dog/house sitter for 7 years now. Our dogs love her and she does a super job caring for them and taking care of our house. We highly recommend her!

Kristina and Fletcher stayed with our dog for two weeks while we were in Europe. Just before we left, our dog developed both a fear of walking at night due and some gastrointestinal issues. We were extremely worried about leaving her but they gave her lots of love and patience about walking and rolled with her new diet restrictions. They also sent us lots of updates because they knew we were worried. We came back to a happy and healthy dog and are grateful to have had two conscientious dog pros with our girl when we couldn’t be.

On our first meeting, she listened and took notes, and asked excellent follow up questions. Arya gave dedicated care to our anxious dog in our home while we were away. She is patient, kind, thoughtful, and an excellent communicator. She gave us regular updates and pictures that we valued and appreciated. We will hire her again.

Ellie stayed at our place for 3 weeks while we were in the UK. She was an exceptional sitter and house guest. Being over seas it was comforting to know our slightly older dogs were in great hands! Her updates were helpful and the house was in great shape when we got back. We would definitely book Ellie again!
