Peach isn't a big fan of humans but loves going to Christy's, getting to visit with her friends. Peach loves her dog Louie and playing with the other pups that she takes care of. I enjoy the photo updates, I am happy that Peach feels safe and I feel comforted while she is in Christy's care, and that Christy allows the dogs on the furniture-Peach even got to sleep in bed when she stayed. “Tia was great! She accepted my request on short notice and made me feel at ease about leaving my boy Pete with her. We drove into town and needed a sitter for a few hours. She was the perfect choice for Pete the Pug. He was safe and secure in her fenced in yard. She also made him feel right at home letting him on her couch as part of the family. He made a new friend, Tang her adorable dog. She sent pictures and even a video to help ease my mind about dropping him off with a stranger away from home. I highly recommend her. And if we go back to Pittsburgh I will definitely book with her again.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and they have always been cherished and treated as members of my family. Also have experience looking after my neighbors’ pets while they have been away. I just love dogs so much so it’s not even a chore for me! I work from home 5 days a week, so my schedule is very flexible for afternoon walks or drop ins! Weekend afternoons are also usually good. At my parents home we would always have a fenced in yard and usually keep the dogs on a leash of some sort outside (we have a long one for the yard so they can still run around) For younger dogs we always crate when we’re not around until they are trained!

I currently share my home with Kisses, my calico, and Teddy, my German Shorthaired Pointer — one of the highest-energy breeds out there — so if your dog goes a mile a minute, I'm more than ready for it!! Over the years I've dog sat for all sizes and breeds — from tiny lap dogs to large, boisterous pups — and I treat every single one like they're my own. Your pet will be loved, played with, and completely spoiled. I'm also comfortable administering medication, so pets with special health needs are absolutely welcome. Your baby will get the same attentive care at my place that they get at home. The layout is split-level, with cats having full run of the upstairs and dogs enjoying the main floor plus access to the fully fenced backyard — plenty of space to play, explore, and burn energy safely. The two never have to share space unless everyone is comfortable. I do have a resident calico and a German Shorthaired Pointer, both of whom are friendly and social, so I do ask that visiting pets are comfortable around other animals of their kind. I always offer a free meet-and-greet before booking so we can make sure everyone — pets and people — feels good about the stay before any commitment is made. My home is puppy-proofed and high-energy-dog-ready, and I have 24/7 SimpliSafe security monitoring for added peace of mind. You can expect regular photos and updates throughout every stay because you shouldn't have to wonder how your pet is doing. When caring for pets in your home, I follow your instructions exactly. Your routines, your rules — meal times, crate preferences, favorite toys, walking routes — I stick to all of it. About: I brought our two cats, Chili and Lok-Lok, all the way from China, but I grew up with dogs in my family and love both. I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends’ dogs and I heard about this app so I thought it might be fun to give it a try. Whenever I get called on to dog-sit for my friend here in Pittsburgh I like to go to the dog parks near the South Side river or jog along with them, rain or snow, and socialize with other dogs. Looking forward to meeting yours! I’m a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh so summer and winter breaks are relatively free, and usually I’m only “working” 2-3 half days per week. I have to do a lot of reading and thinking so getting out of the house is a good way to take a break and process. I have a fenced yard where I do some gardening and let our cats out every day to chase bugs and birds. My friends have stayed over with their dogs and I just move the cats to the second floor and keep them there while the dogs take the first and the yard.
