About: Both of us have owned and babysat animals from a young age. We’ve had dogs since birth, and now have two of our own. We babysit for friends and family all the time as well. We’re your average family, I’m a SAHM with my husband working. I feed the pups and make sure they’re comfy during the day. When my husband comes home he’s the life of the party, he’s always outdoors playing with the kids or doing some yard work. So a perfect mixture of comfort and play! 0.34 acres of land fully fenced in with a closed gate. Provides a great amount of land to run around in and use some energy
“Brooke was amazing! She was so accommodating bc I was in a time crunch. She was very flexible with my drop off time bc of flight changes. She sent videos and pictures and made me feel at ease leaving my dogs an entire weekend for the first time ever. I am so appreciative and will definitely use Brooke again. I highly highly recommend!!!💘”

“Felt at peace while my little man was with Jezabel. She was in communication with me and husband throughout the day and worked with his not so predictable military schedule. I highly recommed her!”

About: I have experience caring for family pets and am comfortable walking, feeding, and supervising dogs of different sizes and temperaments. I understand how important routines and safety are, and I always follow owner instructions carefully. I currently work a regular 9-5 and off on weekends but my wife is home 24/7 to help with potty times and dog care throughout the day. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine. I follow all owner instructions carefully for feeding, walks, and any special needs. I make sure pets get regular bathroom breaks, exercise, and attention, and I always keep their environment clean and supervised. I also communicate with the owner and provide updates to ensure their pet is well cared for at all times.
“Alejandra did a great job of watching Niko. She was able to keep him active with walks and interactive toys when he wasn’t playing with her own dog. Flexible with who was able to drop Niko off and the times as well.”

“Mufasa loved his stay both days. He literally almost dragged me to the door because he was so excited to return the next day. Natalie and her husband were very welcoming to Mufasa and I. I really appreciate the love and care they gave to Mufasa. I would 100% have them watch Mufasa again.”

About: I have been a pet sitter for about four years now. I've been a dog owner for 4 years as well. My dog Rocky was adopted. I had a french bulldog before him, who had puppies twice. I cared for the puppies both times until they were 12 weeks. I am very patient with dogs, my dog is friendly, and my daughter loves animals. She has been around animals since she was born, has animals at her grandparent's house, and dad's. On the weekends I am available all day. Fridays and Mondays I work 8am-4:15pm. From June 2nd-July 22nd I will be available twenty four hours 7 days of the week. Pets stay inside the home when I am at work. They can stay behind the gate, kettle if requested, or around the house if trained.
About: Hi! I’m excited to care for your fur baby. I have taken care of various animals all of my life but dogs have a special place in my heart! I have experience in puppy care and senior care. I don’t mind large breeds. I am also USDA certified in animal care/ transportation. Pet care fits in my work schedule. I am able to let the dogs out during lunch. Once I’m off the dogs get a walk in the evening, and plenty of play time. Saturdays and Sundays I am off so they get plenty of time outdoors. I have a fenced in yard so daily they will be able to stretch their legs. I also do not crate dogs unless it is necessary, otherwise they are free to roam. I believe in cuddles and play time so no worries there. I also am here to help so if there are any specifics just let me know. Pets are not allowed on furniture (besides the doggy couch)
About: I just bought a small ranch a year ago and I want to share my new space with everyone who loves animals just like I do! I have an extra large kennel next to the horse stall available for large pets or a family of pets. As of right now we own a friendly pig, Piggy Smalls, Henry (st Bernard, rescue dog) Bonnie(st bernard also rescue dog) Wednesday(pug) and they are all friendly! I am a stay at home mom of four super cool kids, so my schedule is free 10am-2pm and 4pm and on. We love to be home, our animals are part of the family and we all take care of our pets together. I own an extra large crate incase dogs are crate trained, I have an assigned mud room where pets stay over night inside… or if they are use to snuggling in bed… they can join in and snuggle up with us😂… If they are outdoor dogs we have a large kennel near the horse stall that is well lit and have misters installed incase it’s too hot out during those summer days and they can cool down.

“can’t recommend Savannah enough! They have been absolutely wonderful with my dog, Bugsy. Whether it’s dog sitting, feeding, or playtime, I always know Bugsy is in great hands. One of the things I appreciate most is the consistent updates and photos—they really give me peace of mind and show how much fun Bugsy is having. Savannah is incredibly reliable and always goes above and beyond when caring for Bugsy. It’s clear they truly enjoy spending time with him, and Bugsy is always excited to see them. I’m always more than happy to have Savannah watch him whenever they’re available, and I feel so lucky to have found such a trustworthy and caring sitter.”

“Jeanette was awesome and was able to take out last minute booking! It was our 5 month old Border Collie 1st time with a sitter and Jeanette was so patient and kind. She also sent us updates on how she was doing. Will definitely be booking again! Thank you Jeanette!”

“Michelle, was a wonderful sitter. She was very communicative. She kept me posted throughout the day by sending messages and pictures. Teddy seemed happy when I picked him up. I'll definitely book her again!”

“Our puppy has a mild separation anxiety and whine when we are not present. Chris were very sweet and caring for her. He not only did everything he could to make sure our puppy doesn't miss us (took her to dog park, played with her, gave treats) but also drew a picture of her! That's how clam our puppy was when she was with him and we all couldn't believe that! Can't thank him enough and we highly recommend him to everyone! We will definitely use him again for futures.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of June 2026, there are 183 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Homestead Meadows North. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Homestead Meadows North commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 183 sitters in Homestead Meadows North, 92% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
