About: I’ve taken care of dogs in the past, just for friends, but I have experience with any size and any age since I’ve been able to have pups when I was 10 years old. Three years ago my Great Dane pass away from a kidney disease and I had to give her a lot of medications and IV fluids also my old Lab who had a neuro problem and needed special care to mobilize him, so I consider myself as a capable sitter. I’m a home student, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups. Usually I go to the gym 1 hour during the week. I try to run errands every Saturday, but that usually takes 1-2 hours max. I have a big fenced yard and a gentle Great Dane to keep your fur baby company. The house is fully secured with cameras so I can keep an eye on them while they’re playing. The house is big enough to play around in or outside and since I just moved, I have 3 empty rooms to give them space if needed.
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, including puppies and seniors, and I’m patient, reliable, and detail oriented. I focus on safety, comfort, and giving each dog personalized attention and love. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because I keep a flexible schedule. I make time each day for walks, play, feeding, and check-ins, and I’m always able to adjust to each pet’s needs. I always create a safe and calm environment, whether I’m in my home or a client’s. I follow all routines exactly as instructed, keep a close eye on pets during walks or playtime, and make sure they’re never left in unsafe situations. I focus on building trust by being gentle, patient, and consistent, and I keep owners updated so they always know their pets are cared for.
“My two Girls, Sofia and Carlie spent this past Sunday with Desiree and her family. Desiree always sends pics and updates throughout their stay and by the looks of the pics, my "Girl's' again felt relaxed and at home. It's comforting knowing my Girl's have a happy and secure place to stay.”
About: I have a schnauzer/ terrier mix. Love my dog, I care about animals just like you do! Teach me how to take care of yours! I am currently on the job market, so I have lots of free time to take care of those fur babies! Love them all haha. I respect boundaries and limitations, especially at someone’s house, I work well with animals because they’re easier to babysit, not as unpredictable as humans haha.
About: I have a 8 year old Maltese mix that I have taken care of since she was around 5 weeks old. Her mother died and I took her in from a friend of mine and she is healthy and happy to this day! I am originally from the island of Guam and flew her to live with me in Texas. Since then she has traveled to Hawaii, California, Washington, Ohio, Georgia, new Mexico, and Arizona! Growing up I also had many childhood pets that I took care of and loved including birds, fish, cats, hamsters, and rabbits. I recently got out of active duty and am a stay at home wife so I have a lot of time on my hands! I am available Monday-Sunday and most holidays. I treat all animals as if they are my children and give them all of the love and attention possible! I promise to give endless belly rubs and always ensure a safe environment for your fur babies. I am trustworthy, responsible, and more than capable to take on any task! I live in a house that has a gated back yard. Your pets' safety and happiness are paramount. I aim to create a stress free and fun environment for everyone.

About: As a passionate animal lover and experienced dog walker, I go above and beyond to ensure your furry friends are happy, healthy, and cared for. I understand the importance of trust when it comes to your pets, and I take the time to build a connection with them, making sure they feel safe and comfortable with me. Whether it's a quick walk or a long daycare visit, I provide personalized attention to meet their needs. For extended visits, I’m happy to add extra care, like washing and grooming, to keep them feeling their best. With my energetic and cheerful personality and a background as a singer, every visit is filled with warmth, play, and a little extra joy. Thursday to Sunday I'm always available. If you need care on those days don't hesitate to give me a shout. I'd be more than happy to speak with you. I enjoy washing you dog daily. I know they tend to get dirty very easily. Especially since ill be taking them to the park at least twice a day. I usually keep my pets on an organic diet so hemytcan be healthy. This will also help them live longer. I like to shy away from basic dog food as it doesn't usually provide all necessary nutrition. I also love baking homemade treats but sometimes do opt for feeding them organic treats as from the store. I think it's best to provide purified water for our furry friends instead of sink water. I also like to sanitize their bowls often to keep them free of bacteria. Don't worry, I rinse well after. Sometimes I like take them on car rides and love to watch movies with them. I have so much to say but I can't type it all.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Socorro Mission Number 1 Colonia commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
