“Karla is the best cat sitter you could ask for. She goes above and beyond to ensure your pets are happy and safe. We couldn’t have asked for more. I was able to travel comfortably knowing our cats were in safe hands.”

“Cici did an excellent job with drop-in visits for our cat over two weeks. She came in consistently and took great care of our kitty, even helped take care of an unexpected cut on her neck with close attention and ointment! We received daily updates and photos. We’re very happy with Cici’s care and will be sure to contact her again in the future!”
“Stephanie has watched over my fur babies now for a second time now and both times has done an amazing job, she even went above and beyond during a check in to inform me had a issue with a water leak and save me a possible headache down the line. She is terrific and my 3 cats have made a new friend. Highly recommend her services anybody considering”

“Estefany is great! Our dogs love her and got really comfortable with her from their 1st meeting. She has great communication. Will definitely use her in the future!”

“Brianna was amazing! She’s incredibly attentive and clearly a true dog lover. She took the time to understand our fur baby’s needs and kept us updated with plenty of pictures and messages. About: We have two Corgis of our own: Nala and Jorah. We are a dual military household and I was a medic for 10 years, so have some medical background. I would LOVE to be able to love on others peoples pet when they can’t and need a sitter. I understand having to be away from home is hard especially when leaving something you love dearly behind, even if just for a short time. My family and I are very adventurous and love being outdoors. I enjoy taking my dogs on runs/walks and love playing fetch and tug-o-war. During the week I work normal 9-5 hours but live close to work and can come home during lunch to play and let the fur babies use the bathroom. I can do drop ins but they would have to be before and after I get off work. I also do house sitting but if it is far from my own home and I need to stay overnight, I might need to bring my two dogs with me if my family is not home to care for them. I only board one dog at a time so you can ensure your animal will not have to share my love or attention with any other dogs boarding. I have a fenced yard and two playful corgis. They can be kenneled if separation is needed but will follow suit with if our visitor can free roam or if they require kenneling. It will strictly be me caring for the animals. My boyfriend and the kids do enjoy cuddles though.

About: I’ve been a dog sitter for about 4 years now! I have taken care of many different breeds from chihuahuas to shiz tzu and even Great Danes! I promise to take care of your fur babies like my own! I’m currently a nursing student and go to class Tuesday and Thursday. I work nights mostly on Thursday-Saturday! So I would be honored to help after school and during the days! In my care dogs are walked regularly to ensure they get their energy out, I also groom them (brushing their hair), I would like to brush their teeth if they allow me to and of course take them to potty when they need to!
“Lydia, as always, was great with stopping in to visit with my girls. It’s hard trusting someone to handle my elderly dog’s needs and Lydia is the person I turn to, I know both girls are in good hands and that Lydia is a person the girls love and trust.”

“Melissa went above and beyond while caring for Winnie during a few drop-in visits. She followed all of my directions exactly, spent time playing with Winnie, and kept me updated with photos from each visit. It gave me peace of mind knowing Winnie was in such great hands. I would definitely recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!”

“Teresa was amazing in taking care of our baby. She was always on time and provided us a lot of pictures and kept us informed of everything. My dog felt very comfortable with her and that gave us a lot of peace. Would definitely book her again”

“Sarah took excellent care of our fur babies during our vacation. She sent us pictures of our babies every day, kept us updated on their feeding and water intake. Played with them…we were able to enjoy our whole experience more because we were able to have peace of mind that she was caring for our babies. Thank you Sarah!”

“It’s always tough to be away from my two cats knowing they are used to being so spoiled by me. JUANITA was completely accepted by them!! They easily interacted with her, which says a lot—since cats are so aloof and finicky. She gave them tons of attention, and I always got thorough reports. I am SO pleased and happy with her services. Wow did I have a better time knowing she visited them while I was away! Book this lady when you need someone to care for your fur babies!!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Homestead Meadows North. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
