About: High energy dogs are my specialty. My dogs are my running companions, and we'd love to have your furry friend (or two) tag along! I’m an experienced bird dog foster, so those pups who require something more than a walk are right up my alley. I've always been a dog lover. We always had a dog or two growing up. As an adult I took up running, but I was super jealous seeing people who ran with their dogs. Moose, my dog at the time loved fetch but not running for the sake of running. I vowed I was going to adopt a dog that loved to run next. Enter Chief, my now 6 year old German Shorthair/Lab mix. He is the BEST training partner and made me fall in love with German Shorthair Pointers. In 2020 I started fostering for the Mid-Atlantic German Shorthair Pointer Rescue. To date I have rehabilitated, trained, and helped find loving forever homes for 15 GSPs. I firmly believe dogs are part of the family and not just possessions. They thrive with time, commitment, understanding, and love. Every dog is different and has different needs. Whether you're looking for a dog sitter, dog walker, or dog runner we've got your covered. The dogs are an integrated part of life in my house. First thing when we wake up it's out to go potty then breakfast before some playtime. After work we're out and about, going for a run, or long walk, or some afternoons we head to Bacon Ridge for a hike. If we have another dog staying with us who likes fetch we'll pull out the chuck-it and play ball. In my home the dogs are crated when I'm gone for their own safety (and so I don't lose anymore blinds). Meals are provided in the crates to eliminate the chance of any negative encounters. Initial introductions are supervised and play is 100% supervised until I'm comfortable the dogs all respect each other's boundaries. My backyard has a 5 foot wood fence, and dogs are not outside the fence without a leash on. If dropping into your home to provide a potty/play break we follow your rules.

“Maria was an excellent choice! She’s kind and a great communicator. She followed all instructions to an T and took extra special care of our senior cat with dietary needs. Our cat can have some separation anxiety and under-groom while we’re away, and we came home to a happy, healthy kitty! It is clear that Maria went above and beyond to care for our cat, as well as our home. She sent plenty of pictures and updates, including checking in about some flooding from a lot of rain. We will absolutely be booking with Maria again!”

“Adelyn was great dropping in to take care of our Oscar and Rina. She was very prompt with providing updates and asking what was needed. She made our time away from our fur babies easy and worry free. If you want someone who will do a great job and make it easy use Adelyn!”

“I love that Erin is a cat person. He did a great job looking after our kitties, and took the cutest pictures during her visits with thorough updates! Would definitely recommend working with her!”

“Heather took amazing care of my cat Stella! She was incredibly friendly and responsible while I was out of town for a couple of days. She sent me pictures and always updated me a couple times a day on how Stella was doing throughout the day and if she ate her meals. I loved that Heather sent me picture updates of her as well. I would highly recommend her to take care of your pets and I would definitely seek her out again if I needed someone to look after my cat :)”

“Stacey was very conscientious and patient with my cat's special needs. Eventually my shy cat warmed up to her and started accepting her, which is saying a lot! I appreciated Stacey's care; she was just what my cat needed.”

“Jacob took great care of our cat while we were away for a week! He was very responsive, sent lots of cute photos, and we felt like he looked after our cat like it was his own.”

About: I work from home and have a fun and loving 3 year old Golden Retriever. Your pet will never be alone and get as much care and play it needs. As a lifelong dog enthusiast, I've cultivated a passion for canine companionship, having successfully raised two pups into swimming champs, frisbee aces, and models of obedience. My commitment to nurturing non-aggressive, loving pets has made me the go-to person for friends and family entrusting me with their furry loved ones. With a proven track record of canine excellence and a heart dedicated to their well-being, I am your ideal choice for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter or walker. Let me turn every stroll into an adventure and each visit into a tail-wagging celebration! 🐾 I have been working from home since 2019 and have a flexible schedule, making it easy to slot in breaks for dog walks or playtime. I already have a 2-year-old golden that is on a schedule and would love to fit on more. I have a small yard but I walk my dog every 2 hours and can provide plenty of play with my very friendly 2-year-old golden Milly. I live very close to parks I can walk/run and dog parks I can take them to.

About: I love dogs. My family has had a minimum of 2 dogs since my very first memory and I always played a vital role in their continued day to day care. I walked, fed, played with and lounged with my dogs every day of my life until college. Which is why I was so elated to finally adopt one of my own in 2018. His name is Ollie and he’s a rescue from Kuwait. My wife and I recently moved to Severna Park with our 1 year old and I am hoping to use dog walking to explore areas I otherwise would not see. Both of us are dog lovers that enjoy running, walking and playing with our dog. We are early risers and diligent dog walkers taking on average 4-5 walks per day. I work from home most days with a flexible schedule, so I have a lot of availability during the week to fit in walks in my general area. We are not boarding in our home currently since we have a 1 year old, but I am willing to make trips to client's homes to care for their pets in their familiar space.

Toby G.Star Sitter
“Hello Rover, My son Toby is an excellent candidate to work w/ you in providing caregiving to pets. I have lived w/ pets most of my life, and therefore I have seen Toby from a young age interacting w/ assorted pets. As a young child, he was always in good relationships w/ our cats and dogs, and it was clear that the pets were comfortable w/ him. This has continued into his adulthood. LuLu, the dog he had as a young adult, was one of the sweetest and well behaved dogs I have known. Over the years people have enjoyed labeling me as a "dog whisperer", and though I agree that I have history w/ being fortunate w/ my dogs' character, and have often alleged that Toby's first dog was trained by me and my then current dog, the truth was that he had her most of the time and she was wonderful. This has continued to the present day, and as a matter of fact he called me the other evening when he was walking his current dog Milly, and he paused the conversation when he and Milly encountered another passerby w/ that person's dog, and the interaction I overheard reminded me how well behaved and friendly Milly is and how skilled and sincere Toby is in his interactions w/ pets and their people. Given how cat-like cats can be, it's hard to evaluate how he does w/ cats in general, but when he met his wife to be she had a beloved older cat and soon he was part of their growing family and the dog that Toby brought to the relationship and Toby were both welcomed into the relationship and everyone got along fine. Only a week or 2 ago, Toby got a hermit crab for his son's 8th birthday. He and the family quickly obtained information and equipment to make the crab be healthy and happy, including getting a 2nd crab after hearing how social they can be. Both crabs appear happy and healthy now. Toby's 3 children were devoted to and extremely comfortable w/ both dogs that have been part of this family (the youngest child only knew 1 of them), all 3 kids love to play and cuddle w/ Milly and show off her off when they are outside. I think you will have a great Rover employee w/ Toby.”

Tyler & Kathryn H.
“Tyler is very caring with my dog who always gets excited when he visits. He plays with my dog, takes him outside for walks even when I'm home or when the weather is more suited for fish yet the dog has to go! My dog is important to me and my family and I don't hesitate to put him in Tyler's care because I know I can trust Tyler to be responsible for his well being. It is easy to see that Tyler enjoys being around my dog as much as the dog enjoys his visits. I'm certain Tyler would treat any animal under his care in the same manner!”

Allison took great care of our kitties while we were out of town. She really went the extra mile — coaxing our shy kitty out of hiding with his favorite treat and sweeping around the litter boxes. I always know my furry little guys are in great hands with Allison. 🐈⬛ 🐈
