About: I am new to Rover but have tons of experience otherwise. I have been watching the same golden retriever and his cat brothers for the past 5 years. Every colleague comes to me with their pet sitting needs. I am great at walking dogs and taking them out to poop and I can also give your cat some excellent tips on taking over the world (no additional charges applied). I can't wait to get to know your cool cats and kittens and doggies and hamsters etc!!! ♡ I work during the day Mon - Fri but will be able to care for and entertain your pet(s) in the morning before work and the mid afternoon til the rest of the night and all day on the weekends. I live in an apartment building that is very close to downtown and a nearby park so it's convenient for walks and day adventures with your fur baby.

13. Amanda R.
About: Hi, I’m Amanda! I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 11 years old, starting out by watching my neighbors’ pets when they were out of town. Since then, pet sitting has grown into a true passion. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—both in my home and in clients’ homes. I’ve stayed overnight for up to two weeks at a time and have also welcomed multiple dogs into my home. I’m very comfortable managing several pets at once and have experience caring for up to three dogs at the same time in a client’s home. I’ve worked with breeds across the spectrum—from playful puppies just a few months old to sweet senior dogs requiring extra TLC. One particularly meaningful experience was caring for Moose, a special needs dog who used a wheelchair. It was both a challenge and a privilege, and it taught me a lot about patience, adaptability, and compassion. In July 2017, I adopted my own dog, Benny, from the humane society. He’s been an incredible addition to my life and continues to teach me every day about the joys (and quirks!) of being a dog parent. I also love trick training—it’s a great way to keep dogs mentally stimulated and build trust. If your pup is motivated by treats or toys, I’d be happy to incorporate some fun training during our time together! Your dog’s safety, happiness, and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every dog like they’re my own, and I’d love the opportunity to care for yours! I work for a school, so as soon as mid June rolls around I will have more availability. As of right now I’m free most afternoons after 2 and weekends I am pretty open to whatever the client needs. If the dog has free reign, barricaded in a specific room or in a crate. My personal dog benny has free roam.

14. Savannah B.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive hands-on experience with dogs and my flexible, work-from-home lifestyle. I’ve worked at a veterinary clinic, so I’m comfortable administering medications and recognizing basic health concerns. I’ve also worked as a dog grooming assistant, so I am able to recognize different behaviors and signs of discomfort. This has also given me great confidence in handling dogs of different temperaments. I’ve cared for a wide variety of dogs through fostering with local rescue groups. I have fostered over 15 dogs ranging from brand new puppies to seniors dogs, and I’ve rescued 7 of my own. I have spent my entire life with a dog in the household, and they are truly the best part of the day. Because I work from home a few days out of the week, I’m able to provide constant companionship, attention, and care throughout the day. I’m a passionate dog mom who understands that every dog is unique, and I pride myself on being patient, observant, and adaptable to their needs. Your pet won’t just be watched—they’ll be loved like one of my own. I have dog sat for many friends, family and neighbors over the years. If needed, I am able to accommodate in-house dog sitting with your dog being the only dog in the home. My dog is able to visit Gramma’s house at any point, so if being the only dog in the house would work better for them just let me know ahead of time! Pet care is already part of my daily routine—I have a dog of my own, so caring for a dog is a large part of my routine already. I work from home a few days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility to be tentative to their needs. My dog loves to have a friend around, as I often dog sit for my neighbors, friends and family already. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and play, and I make sure each pet gets regular exercise and enrichment based on their energy level and personality. Whether that’s walks, playing ball in the yard, or enrichment puzzles. I keep a calm, clean environment and stick to their usual routines as much as possible to help them feel comfortable and at home.

15. Rae M.

“Rae is fantastic! Their personality is super calm and easy going which is ideal for my sometimes anxious pup. Ruby is already super comfortable with Rae and they're both getting along wonderfully. I've already booked them again! Highly recommend. The adorable session recaps are a fun bonus too :)”

16. Elizabeth H.

“Elizabeth is as wonderful! She didn’t just let them out to potty. She spent good quality, enriching time with them. I definitely recommend her!”

17. Anna C.

“Anna was great and even got our one cat who's always afraid of new people to come out for pets. Super communicative and friendly. Will definitely work with again!”

18. Olivia S.

“Olivia provided an extra 60 minute drop-in even though it was late notice due to flight complications. She was completely understanding of that & agreed to watch my cat for longer with no hesitation.”

About: Hi! I'm a passionate animal lover with 2 years of experience caring for dogs and a deep commitment to their happiness and well-being. I’m in the process of learning dog training, which allows me to better understand and connect with your furry babies. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or simply spending quality time with your pup, I treat every dog as if they were my own—offering love, kindness, and plenty of pet hugs. I can’t wait to meet your dog and help them feel happy and loved while you’re away! Caring for animals is a natural part of my day. When I get home from work, the first thing I do is feed my two cats and spend time with them, ensuring they feel loved and cared for. Soon, pet care will become an even bigger part of my daily life as I begin training animals as part of my schooling. This growing commitment reflects my passion for animals and my dedication to their well-being. Whether it’s feeding, playing, or simply being there for them, caring for pets is something I truly enjoy and prioritize every day. When I visit or pet sit in your home, your furry baby will be cared for as if they were my own. I’ll make sure they’re fed on time, given plenty of attention, and kept comfortable in their familiar environment. We’ll enjoy playtime tailored to their personality, whether it’s a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or simply cuddling and keeping them company. For walks, I’ll ensure they get the exercise and fresh air they need while keeping their safety a top priority. My goal is to create a loving and stress-free experience for your pet while you’re away!
