“I’m so glad I found Beth! Her house is perfectly suited for hosting dog guests. Her large back yard is securely fenced and her own two dogs are friendly and playful. She is extremely conscientious and I felt very comfortable entrusting my little Chihuahua to her.”

“Victoria is pleasant and went above and beyond our expectations. She accommodated our last minute request and provided texts and video during the doggy daycare stay. Would highly recommend booking with her.”

“Great experience. Laura was waiting for Bryce and greeted him immediately. She sent pictures within an hour and I could tell he was behaving as always. Very comforting. And topper I sent a message when we would be there for pickup and she had him watching at the front door. Nice transition. I’m hopeful to use her frequently while I’m in town.”

“Honestly, simply the best. My dog had the best time ever!! She’s caring, hardworking and really loves what she does! Gives updates when she can! And is very open and honest. My dog will definitely be coming back! He didn’t want to leave that’s how much fun he had!”

“Pickles was instantly welcomed into Kellie's home, and it made my heart happy to see how quickly he was comfortable there. I have nothing but positive things to say, and Pickles is already looking forward to his next visit!”

About: Both Matt and I have taken care of animals since we were young for friends &family. We have two frenchies both are two years old ( please keep in mind when they first meet a new dog they get very excited and can have a lot of energy and LOVE to play) We have also had experience with numerous breeds. Your fur baby will have lots of fun and love in our home. Having two frenchies, we know how high maintenance some dogs can be, that’s why it’s important to us to provide the best experience for you and your fur baby. During Monday-Friday I work 8-5. However, Matt does work from home so will be able to give your fur baby all the love and attention!( if Matt does have to step out it’s typically no longer than 2 hours but not often ) If you have any questions regarding our schedule, please feel free to reach out. If for some reason Matt does have to leave for more than a couple hours, we will block that day off as we do not believe in leaving fur babies alone for long periods. We are homebodies on the weekends as well. So someone will always be with your fur baby. We will make sure your fur baby gets plenty of walks and outside time. We live in a nice/quiet neighborhood. When the weather is nice, our frenchies love to sun bathe, play fetch, we also set up their splash pad, so we spend lots of time outside. We do allow dogs on our bed and furniture( if you allow it) we will not crate your dog unless we do have to step out ( which again is not often). During the night, we will not crate unless you prefer them in a crate. Please let us know if there is any special request and we can accommodate. We do ask for a meet n greet to make sure your dogs and our two frenchies get along. Your fur baby’s safety and comfortability will always be our priority as well as our babies. We know how it feels leaving your fur baby and you might get anxious so we will make sure to send a daily update. *Please note we are happy to accommodate large dogs, they MUST get along with little dogs. We do only accept one large dog at a time. Please be sure to look at our pics as we do have a short fence, if your dog is known for jumping we may have to utilize a leash*
About: I love all creatures, regardless of their shape or size! Throughout my childhood, I was privileged to grow up with Labrador, Great Dane, and a Husky/Akita mix. I currently have two cats! Family and friends have always entrusted me with the responsibility of ensuring their pets are well-cared for while they are away on travel or during their workday. My experience extends to administering medication to my own cat with medical needs. I can provide pills and even injections. With a flexible schedule as a stay at home mom, I am able to visit your home basically anytime, ensuring your animals receive the attention and company they need. I am happy to provide feedings, walks, playtime, and cuddles! I am very reliable and honesty. I will ensure your home is left in the same condition as I found it. If you so desire, I can facilitate pick-up and drop-off of your furry companions at doggy daycare facilities. Your animals are certain to be overjoyed by the excellent care I can provide. Please send me a message and I will let you know if I am available! I would rather not come after 9pm but am sometimes flexible. I do not watch other pets in my home. I will follow any rules you have provided in your home. The safety and wellbeing of your pet is my #1 priority.

I have a husky that is about 6 years old, a 2 year old Yorkie, and a 3 year old cat that roam around the house. Although it will be very easy to keep them separate if needed!h

About: After spending 15 wonderful years taking care of my beagle Bailey, I know how important it is to find someone who will love and care for your dog as much as you do. I’m currently earning my Master’s degree online in Mental Health Counseling while completing clinical work, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy, and I’m able to dedicate quality time to walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding routines, and companionship. I’m reliable, organized, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in an apartment community with a dedicated dog park just a short walk from my home, providing plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment. I also have access to my mother’s home, which features a large fenced yard and pool area with no resident pets, offering additional space for supervised outdoor play if appropriate. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, medications, routines, and preferences to ensure every pet receives personalized care and attention.
“Dan took great care of Maggie, he kept me updated during the day with activities and pictures. Maggie got back home exhausted from a full day of games and activities with Dan’s pack, we loved it! Dan is also very flexible and accommodating, I had to reschedule several times and he was very understanding.”

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Holly commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
