“Laura is wonderful! Her and Ben are easy to talk to and my pets liked them both right away. Laura gave me updates and sent pictures every day which I looked forward to and made me feel reassured. We feel confident with Laura’s experience and abilities to take care of our babies and will definitely use her in the future.”

“Roxie loved Maddison! Maddison treated Roxie like the little princess Roxie is. She took her on walks and gave her so much attention. Roxie is very anxious and when I picked her up from Maddison’s she was excited to see us but not anxious at all. I eould absolutely trust her with any of my animals and look forward to having h mer take care of Roxie again.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I currently have 3 dogs that I’ve raised from puppies. I started off dog sitting for my family and some friends, ranging from small to large and young to old. I have experience administering medications such as pills, supplements, and needles. I’ll treat your pup just like my own! I work full-time, so I am available to do drop-ins and walks on the weekends. I can board your pup at my home on any day of the week if they are good with other dogs and babies. My husband works from home most days, so boarded dogs will receive care throughout the day while I am at work. Dogs are never left alone more than 6 hours. For drop ins and walks- I’ll follow your care instructions and provide you updates/pictures. For boarded dogs- We have a large fenced yard for our dogs to run around and play together! Dogs are free to roam the house but can be crated if needed.

“Jennifer and Jeffrey are AMAZING!! They gave our little guy so much love and attention. They updated us with lots of videos and pictures throughout the day, every day. It was wonderful to see our pup have a fun vacation while we were on our vacation. Jennifer and Jeffrey's service cannot be topped.”
“We absolutely loved Cida! We left our two dogs under her care for two weeks and she treated them as if they were her own! She put us and our dogs at ease during the meet and greet and during the hand off. She took great care for all of their needs and they looked great when we picked them up. We would absolutely request her services in the future!”

About: I’ve watched friends and family pets my whole life. My 11 year old lab is great with other dogs. I’ve taken courses with my dog for behavior and obedience training. My schedule is semi flexible. I am in the Navy and work different hours depending on the schedule, but never leave for more than 8 hours. I have a fenced yard and dog friendly house. They are allowed on the furniture and are free to roam anywhere in the house. I also have ring cameras throughout the house to check on them while I am away.
“If I could give a 10+ rating, I would! This was our first time having to leave Genesis with someone other than family. Pam made us feel comfortable from the first interaction when we booked our stay. She was very loving and kind to Genesis and made sure that she knew everything about her to make her stay more comfortable. She gave us daily updates and pictures to put our minds at ease. We are so thankful for Pam and will defiantly be using her again!”

“Ladeana is absolutely exceptional! She took care of our dog Rudy for 2 days, and from start to finish the experience was flawless. She was incredibly communicative, dependable, and genuinely caring, she truly loves what she does. Rudy came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It’s not easy to find someone you can fully trust with your pet, but Ladeana exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and compassionate sitter. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Hollie & her family always takes good care of our dogs! I have also used her in the past and will continue to do so. I know our dogs feel comfortable at their home being able to cozy up to them on the couch like at home. ❤️”

“Absolutely wonderful! Moose was treated like one of their own. She kept us updated daily with pictures and comments. Her household was accommodating to our young dog. Their own dog and ours became good buddies. Dawn was amazing to work with when we had an unexpected change in plans. Highly recommend!”

About: are Experience: Pets have always been a part of my family, and for more than 15 years I’ve cared for my own pets as well as helped care for the pets of family and friends. I understand that when someone trusts me with their pet, they’re trusting me with a member of their family, and I don’t take that lightly. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, boarding in my home, and pet sitting. Depending on what your pet loves, our time together might include walks, backyard playtime, throwing a favorite ball, belly rubs, cuddles on the couch, or simply keeping them company. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, including large breeds, and I’m happy to care for cats too. One thing that gives me a lot of flexibility as a sitter is that I work from home. I’m not leaving in the morning for an eight-hour workday while your pet waits for me to return. My schedule allows me to be present throughout the day for potty breaks, playtime, walks, meals, attention, and plenty of company. I’m available for both weekday and weekend care. Our home has a fully fenced yard and pets are very much a part of our everyday family life. I’m a mom, so routines, responsibility, patience, and handling a little chaos come pretty naturally to me. I also understand that no two pets are exactly alike. Some want to be your best friend five minutes after meeting you, some need a little time to warm up, some could play all afternoon, and some are perfectly happy finding a comfy spot and taking a nap. I’ll take the time to learn your pet, follow the routine and instructions you provide, and give them the kind of care I’d want someone to give mine. And while you’re away, expect pictures and updates from me. I want you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, getting plenty of attention, and being genuinely cared for. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to work pet care into my day without rushing in and out. I’m available throughout the week and on weekends, and I can accommodate morning, daytime, and evening visits depending on your pet’s normal routine. I’m a mom, so schedules and routines are kind of my specialty! Your pet’s safety and comfort will always come first. Whether I’m taking them for a walk, stopping by for a visit, caring for them in your home, or welcoming them into mine, I’ll follow the routines and instructions you provide. I pay attention to the little things, from securely closing doors and gates to proper leash handling, feeding schedules, medications, and any special needs. I’ll treat your pet like I’d want mine treated and your home with the same respect I’d expect for my own. And of course, you can expect plenty of pictures and updates along the way.
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Holley
She was fantastic! I received daily pictures of Neptune. It was our first trip without him so we were worried. About three days in, I knew he was in the best fancy he could be. Here yard and other dogs to play with. Bonus that he came home bathed and brushed. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Holley home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Holley.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Holley sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
