About: I’m on Rover to help you out with any / all your pets needs while you’re away! I work full time as a behaviorist in a public school. I don’t dog train, but I am familiar with any techniques that you may need for your pup! I have 3 dogs and 3 cats of my own. I have experience with all breeds! All mutts and senior pups are welcome. I also have experience administering medication to dogs. All dogs of breeds and age deserve attention and love. I’d love it if you let me love your pets as if they are my own too! Animals will not be hosted in my home due to a senior dog I have who is on medication. For those reasons, home sitting is only available in terms of long care. About: I’m an experienced dog owner - I’ve had my own special needs deaf dog that I’ve taken care of for 3 years since he was a puppy. Sadly he is no longer with me, but that means I can dedicate myself to other peoples fur babies and it gives me a lot of joy to be able to do that again on a part time basis. I have experience with puppies, obedience and behavior modification training (I am not a professional trainer, but I have worked with one and have taught my own dog basic obedience using hand signals), giving medication as necessary, and adaptability at handling anxiety and reactivity (as this was my dog). I’ve learned the body language of dogs a lot more than many other dog owners because of what I went through with my dog and I am happy to help if I can while your pup is in my care. Before getting my dog, I also watched and walked one of my neighbors dogs regularly. I’ve also done in-home dog sitting for some friends on several occasions for days at a time. I love dogs very much and will treat yours like it’s my own! I’m currently in between jobs and looking for recurring care, hence my open availability. For new clients that need one-time care, I am usually available on weekends. I’m currently in an apartment which may not be the most ideal, though it is pet friendly, so it might only be a good option for day sitting smaller dogs. Otherwise, I can come and sit dogs at your residence. I’ll walk your dog every 2-4 hours. I can also take them to parks/dog parks or runs for exercise if you are comfortable with that.

Your pet will get the best care with me as I treat all pets like my own leaving no one behind, whether your pet likes long walks or just chilling on the couch I'm your girl! If your pet needs meds or any special care just let me know and we will get it done!! I love to interact with your pups and kitties! I love playing games with pups such as “go find it” (it involves treats that are approved by you for your pups and placing them around the house to work their minds) or find me (hide and go seek) and obviously the best walks ever!! If your pets has a favorite movie/show (I know everyone has one) please let me know and I will get that show/movie on ASAP!!! Depending where you are located I love going for walks especially on hiking trails so if your pup likes that we can definitely get that done! If your pup has separation anxiety let me know what soothes them, maybe it's a blanket with your scent or a favorite show/channel they like.
