“Lara did a outstanding job with our little dog Izzy. She kept us informed on how Izzy was doing with photos, videos, and text messages since we were gone for two weeks to visit our family in Anchorage. We will definitely use her again. I was afraid that our Izzy wasn't going to want to come back home. I highly recommend that you give her a try. Very reasonable compared to other sitters.”

“Danielle gave my furry baby loving care. She sent me pics and videos so I could see how she was acclimated to her home. I am definitely going to keep Danielle as my pet sitter. She’s awesome!”

“They took great care of Ellie and she seemed to enjoy her time there - Ellie is nervous around other dogs but she seems to have adjusted very well - thank you so much for taking care of her - and I am sure she was a hit with the neighbors as she loves peopke”

“If I could leave more stars I would, I can not recommend Kyle enough! Our pups stayed for a week and had a blast. Kyle kept in contact with updates, brought them to see us (we were local to a fun spot for them to try the beach out), and he took wonderful care of our puppies. If you need a sitter in the area, I would definitely recommend going with Kyle!”

“Bronson loved his stay with Katelyn and her family. I could tell when I picked him up that he had been happy and loved on. Katelyn was extremely kind and easy to work with. We will be back.”

“Stella took great care of my girls (a Boston terrier and a “Velcro” Dalmatian) for a week. It was a last minute booking and she communicated so promptly and professionally. She even offered a meet and greet which made me feel even more comfortable leaving our fur babies with her. Stella had a great yard for them to play in, and updated us with pictures and videos nearly everyday! I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a sitter that they can trust and feel like their babies were made feel right at home! Thank you Stella!”

“Let me start by saying I’m one of those people who tends to worry about their dogs being with new people. But the moment I met Abigail my dogs and I fell in love. She’s extremely sweet and very personable, for the four days that I was away (and across the country) I got updates on my dogs. They had a blast! They received all the love, cuddling and play time you would hope your pet could get. ABSOLUTELY BOOK WITH HER! It would be a shame not too.”

“My boy is always so happy to be with Donna and her family. I just love his life when he's with them. Peace of mind is priceless. We just love her and her husband. Nana and Papa”

“Laura was great. A pleasure speaking to and quick with responses. Received lots of updates and pictures. I knew my dog would feel very comfortable with her and her pup. He was welcomed as part of their family and had the best week, went on lots of adventures, and was taken great care of. Thank you!!”
“We are so happy to have found you, Maegan! Lola loves her stays with you and your family! She’s well loved & cared for and she really enjoys playing with your pups and receiving so much attention. We highly recommend your service! Thanks!!! 😊”

“My experience with Alicia & Van was amazing! They made Louie & me feel so welcome in their home, much like family. Louie will usually not eat much when I’m away but he was so comfortable that ate all of his food at each meal. Alicia & Van shared many many pictures and kept me informed at all times. When we experienced a delay in getting home due to traffic & weather, they were very understanding and even offered to keep Louie an extra night if needed. A truly wonderful experience and I will surely book with them again!!!”

“Stephanie was very kind, communicated every day, and treated my dog well. She took my dog on long walks, sent pics, and cared for my dog while I was gone. I will definitely book with Stephanie again!”

“She was AWESOME! My baby Bubba has a new auntie. I didn't worry at all while on vacation because Katherine made him so comfortable and now he has a friend in Bailey for life! I would leave Bubba with her every time...”

About: Thank you for considering me to care for your dogs. I know it’s not an easy decision. We also offer weekly Poop Scooping service - Just ask! I have always had a family dog. I have run an in home doggy day care, owned a pet treat bakery, earned my Vet Tech degree, worked in veterinary clinics, a specialty animal hospital, and as a pet nutrition consultant. I have cared for young and old, sick and healthy. I have seen everything at this point. One of my dogs had seizures so I know how difficult it can be to trust someone with a pet with medical conditions. I’m here to help. I hope to make this my full time job aside from mom. I have 2 daughters and 2 dogs. Check ins fit nicely into our busy family schedule. I’ll take time for each pet. Chatting with them, snuggles, pets, let me know what they need and I'll do my best to make sure they feel your love!
“Atina is nothing short of amazing! She took care of my two dogs, one of which is a senior chiweenie with heart and skin conditions. My dogs were so loved and cared for and I was completely at ease. She was also very accommodating with my schedule for drop off and pick up. I will absolutely book with Atina again!”

“Jennifer did an amazing job taking care of Ozzy! He was so happy and loving when we picked him up. He had a blast playing and made new friends. What a blessing we found Jennifer she is a true fur baby lover and she made Ozzy feel welcomed and loved!”

“I left my Mini Aussie Doodle with Robert for a 4 day trip out of town. He was very nice and paid special attention to not let Lynus eat the other dogs food. I was nervous about him coming home with diarrhea like the last time I left him with someone, but Robert was really great. I will use him again if needed and I believe Lynus had a great time! He sent pictures everyday and I really appreciated that. Thank you Robert!”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
