“Dace is the best ! She loves animals and it shows. She just took care of our special needs cat and made sure she got her medication (difficult task). She is the best pet sitter we 've ever had !”

“Alicia is wonderful!!! So sweet and personal, my husband and I bonded with her instantly. One of the days I needed to book her she was going to be out of town and she still agreed to come to my house to care for my pets after a long day of travel. Alicia took care of everything, not just my picky pet related duties but also brought my mail/packages in, my garbage can. We are so lucky we found her. 12/10!!”

“Ceshele did an amazing job with our cats! She was super informative about what was going on. She was confident in giving medication orally as well as through an inhaler. It’s always a pleasure booking with her!”

“Thomas helped me out in a last minute pinch, when I was out if town and checked in on my kitty. He communicated well to make arrangements for the visit and sent me updates. All was well, when I returned home.”

“Teresa took amazing care of my cats during the week of my trip. She was caring and professional, providing pictures and updates every day. My senior needed eye drops and she administered without problems. And from the happiness in the pictures, my younger male really enjoyed her visits. Teresa visited faithfully despite the horrible weather (flood and tornado warnings!) and her earned confidence allowed me to enjoy my trip. Thank you Teresa for taking care of my kitties! I would definitely book you again.”

About: As a lifelong dog dad, I have years of experience with my own pets and with others. Being a working author makes home pet sitting is an ideal situation for me. All I need is internet and a place to sit with my laptop. Cuddles from the fur babies always provides inspiration. You can count on responsible care from a guy who has had more life experience than some (a kind way to say older). 🙂 Although I prefer just a few days at a time since I’m married and have my own fur babies, I would consider longer term house sitting for the right situation. I am a working author. This makes my situation flexible and provides my ability to be attentive. I still perform vocals with a jazz band, but that would be blocked off on my schedule as would any book tours. My policy for care of your pets is that you know them best. I hope not to drive you crazy with requests of daily schedule, but routines are important for our fur families. Therefore, I will want to know a typical day and will try to adhere to that as closely as possible. I do not accept pets in my home.

“Laila was extremely flexible working with my post op schedule. My skittish boy, Blitz took to her in minutes and Bonnie loved her attention immediately. They are big dogs and can sometimes be intemidating but Lail exuded confidence and seemed very comfortable. We will definitely call on her again!”

“We were so happy to find Kayla here when our regular pet sitters were unavailable. She sent great pics and updates on our 3 cats. One of them usually hides under the bed and our pet sitters hardly ever see her, but Kayla must be a pet whisperer because she got her to come out to eat and even play! Amazing ! We’ll definitely hire her again when we travel!”

“Grace provided a purrrfect cat sitting experience! This was our first time leaving our dear Stella behind for more than a day or two so we were initially very nervous about the whole thing. Now we couldn't be happier that we decided to go with Grace for our cat sitting needs! Her communication was impeccable throughout the entire process and I received wonderful updates complete with adorable photos after every visit. She was punctual, reliable, and treated our home with the utmost respect. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of a top-notch cat sitter.”

“Rachel seems to be a "cat whisperer", at least for my cats. My "grouchy cat" came out to meet her, and my skittish kitten did well with her, too. She is kind, caring, and conscientious.”

“Paula is a wonderful dogsitter! We were on vacation and found her on Rover. We contacted her last minute and she was very responsive. Our dog, Willow, has major separation anxiety and she immediately took to Paula and was comfortable with her. Paula is a natural with animals and obviously cares for their happiness and well-being. She was incredibly punctual and took Willow on many walks since it was such fine weather. We came home to a very happy and relaxed puppy! I recommend her completely!”
