About: Hello, I’m Lauren! I’ve been around dogs quite literally my whole life. My family raised Dobermans for show, and I’ve personally raised and trained two incredible male German Shepherds over the past 15 years. Since 2014, I’ve provided private dog boarding and training in both Australia and California. My background includes working with puppies, active/working breeds, senior dogs with health ailments and dogs with specific training needs. I only accept one dog at a time or multiple dogs from the same home. I live with my almost 3-year-old daughter who has been taught to respect, be cautious and gently interact with animals after she has been approached by them and knows them. She is remarkably attuned to their body language and boundaries. We’re located in a safe, quiet community with a scenic pond and dog-walking paths shaded by oak trees. Our large screened-in patio overlooks the water and is a great place for dogs to relax, play, or just soak up the sights and smells. I honor your dog’s rules from home; whether they’re allowed on furniture or need scheduled crate time. I use washable covers and keep a tidy, sanitized space. When your dog stays with us, they’ll be treated like family. I look forward to giving them the same love and care you do when you’re with them!

About: When caring for other people's animals, safety is my primary concern, followed closely by happiness and wellbeing. You can expect to receive daily updates, pictures and videos. You can also expect prompt responses from the moment I receive a request, during the booking, and even follow up messaging after the booking has ended. I make individual care plans depending on age, size and breed of the dog. Meaning that if your pup/s have high energy, more play time is necessary and allotted. If your pup/s are a laid back senior, then we spend more time relaxing. I work from home and have a fenced in yard and love walks in our beautiful Safety Harbor town. My family has had all types and sizes of pups from toy poodles to great danes! It's important to give the same level of love, attention, and care to every animal as though it were my own. However, each dog has it's own individual needs, I am able to cater to whatever each dog's needs will be.
