“Marquita was excellent. My puppy had a great time. Marquita was communicative and sent photo updates of my puppy. I will definitely be using her as a dog sitter next time I am in the area.”

“Milo had a fantastic day with Milo! Lauren sent pics and kept us updated throughout the stay. I was running late for pickup and she was able to flex the end time for me a bit that was so helpful. Highly recommended.”

“I truly appreciated Alli working with me during a difficult time when I had a very uncertain work schedule. Princeton seems to have enjoyed his time staying with Alli and Mack, especially enjoying the backyard sunshine. We hope to see them again!”

“Noemi was super nice and very helpful which took our case only booked one day before. And she sent A LOT of pictures during caring and we all loved that!! Our dog played in her huge backyard, walked twice, played ball…seeing our dog playing really well was very sweet and relieving! Definitely recommended.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life, and had two dogs in Australia (Black Lab and a miniature Cavoodle) before relocating to the US in August last year. My wife and daughter are spending summer back in Aus, so could use a bit of company over the summer, and would love to get my dog fix. My wife and daughter are spending summer back in Australia, so will have a lot of free time on my hands. I work from home full time, in a 2 bedroom apartment. There might be the odd evening/trip to the shops etc where I will be out of the complex, but it will be minimal. I do travel for work, but will know weeks in advance of any travel scheduled. I have a 2 bedroom apartments on the second floor of a complex. There is an off lead dog park in the complex and have direct access to Tampa Bay. I stand up paddle board and happy to take any adventurous pups out on the bay with me.
About: I've been caring for animals my entire life and have experience with both dogs and cats of different sizes, ages, and personalities. I've owned three dogs, two of these dogs I had throughout my childhood and one is the dog I own currently and currently own two rescue cats, and I've also cared for family members' and friends' pets while they were away. My experience includes caring for dogs ranging from 30-pound companions to large breeds such as Golden Retrievers and Dobermans. What sets me apart is my hands-on experience caring for pets with medical needs. When I adopted my rescue cats as kittens, both required medication and extra attention during their recovery. One had a respiratory infection, and the other was treated for a UTI. These experiences taught me patience, attention to detail, and the importance of closely monitoring an animal's health and behavior. Animals truly hold a special place in my heart. I understand that pets are family, and I treat every pet in my care with the same love, compassion, and respect that I give my own. Whether it's playtime, walks, cuddles, medication, or simply keeping them company, my goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. One of my lifelong dreams is to open a nonprofit animal sanctuary and continue helping animals in need. At the moment, I have a flexible and open schedule. This means I can fully dedicate my time, attention, and energy to caring for your pets and accommodating their needs. I will take the time to understand each pet’s individual routine and needs by asking pet parents how they typically care for their pet. I believe every pet is different, so I make sure to learn any specific instructions, preferences, or important details before providing care. I never assume I know what’s best for someone else’s pet and always follow the owner’s guidance closely. My goal is to provide consistent, personalized care so each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their family is away. In my own home I will still ensure I follow the owners guidance of their pet and ensure they are happy and comfortable in my home with my dog and cats!
“We loved having Olga watch our puppy, Penelope. Penelope is highly energetic and Olga had no issue matching her energy. We had a last minute engagement and Olga was there for us at 9pm the night before. It was amazing.”

“We've had a great experience with JD and Magda! They've treated Gus like he was their own and made him (and us) safe. They are quick to respond with any communication and try their best to be accommodating. Also their two dogs are super friendly and Gus loves having them to play with.”

“I highly recommend Debora. She watched my puppy for a couple hours and upon my return my puppy was learning to “leave it” and to calm down when other dogs are near (she gets super excited). Debora was very nice, super knowledgeable and my puppy loved her the second they met. 10/10”

“Jennah and her family were absolutely wonderful to Benny. He got to play with other dogs, go in the pool and be a part of their family. He was a very happy pup. I was updated with his progress, photos and video. Communication was great and I felt like he was really taken care of and enjoyed his stay. The house is like a puppy paradise. I couldn’t have asked for better. I highly recommend.”

“Norma was wonderful with our Tallulah and Melly! She also accommodated us on short notice when we requested a drop off time earlier than I booked for! Communication was excellent and Norma sent photos of Tallulah and Melly playing in her care all throughout the day! We will absolutely book with Norma again for daycare and she will be our "go-to" for boarding the next time we need to board. Thank you Norma for taking such good care of Tallulah and Melly today and making sure they had a great play day!”

Kenny takes very good care of my bulldog. His home is perfect with sliders from his office to a fenced back yard. His kids are also very good with my dog. They are respectful and playful. I’m happy to have found such a trustworthy home away from home for my dog.

I have long work days and I was very nervous trusting my dog with someone else. From the moment my dog stepped into Eli’s home, I could tell she was comfortable and didn’t have any reservations about her. When I say we are going to her house, she runs to the door and whines until we leave. Eli sends pictures throughout the day of their activities and I can tell by how she comes home happy and sleepy that she is well taken care of. Her home is also very clean and has a fenced in yard. I feel grateful to have found a sitter that cares for my dog as if she were her own! I would absolutely recommend her for anybody that has reservations about finding a sitter through Rover.

We've had a great experience with JD and Magda! They've treated Gus like he was their own and made him (and us) safe. They are quick to respond with any communication and try their best to be accommodating. Also their two dogs are super friendly and Gus loves having them to play with.

This is the first time Sparky stayed with someone else for approximately 7 hrs, my husband and I felt so nervous, but Ashton sent me the picture and video of him playing with Ashton's dog, which made us feel much better. Thank you so much for taking good care of him. I will definitely take Sparky there again.
