I’m also a dog mom to two large breeds, a Golden Retriever and a Husky, so I’m very comfortable with big dogs, strong personalities and higher-energy breeds. I work from home, which means your pet will have plenty of company, attention and potty breaks throughout the day instead of being left alone for long stretches. I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine and comfort level, and I’m happy to follow the schedule and care instructions that help them feel most at home. I’m also comfortable caring for senior pets and animals who need medication or extra patience. One of my dogs has epilepsy, so I have experience giving daily medication, monitoring health needs and staying calm when a pet needs additional care. I carefully follow each pet’s normal routine, feeding instructions, medication schedule and any household rules provided by their owner. I keep doors secure, monitor pets during outdoor time and never force interaction between animals. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with respect and make sure their pet receives consistent, attentive care in the environment where they feel most comfortable.
