“Lauren was an awesome sitter for Camper. She sent me lots of pictures every time he went out (which was several times a day) and made sure that he got lots of play time with other dogs. She was also great giving him medicine. There was great communication before, during, and after his stay. I’d use her again every chance I get.”

“Excellent . My anxious dog calmed down with Alice and went to sleep near her. Alice also sent me the very best pictures. I wouldn’t hesitate to ask for her help again”

“Evie & Fritz were so amazing with Lola. They sent me photos throughout each day and gave me updates on how she was doing! She got to play with lots of other dogs who were in doggy daycare with them and snuggled up with them at night! I felt so good knowing my girl was being so loved and well cared for! You guys are the best!!”

“Katrin was AMAZING! My husband and I are so anxious leaving our dogs and katrin put our minds at ease immediately. From the moment we arrived, the dogs were clearly comfortable and in great hands. She shared regular updates and pictures, administered our senior dog’s medication, and went the extra mile in every possible way to make sure our pups felt right at home. We’re so grateful for her animal loving heart!”

“Vanessa always does a great job sitting for my dog. He always loves his time with her, and playing with the other dogs in her yard. She is wonderful to work with-flexible and accommodating.”

“Cathy was a wonderful sitter! She followed all our instructions, sent lots of updates and pics, and genuinely connected with our pup. We felt so good knowing our dog was in great hands. Would absolutely book with Cathy again!”

“Krystene responded quickly to my request and was very pleasant. She sent me pictures of my cat baby and updated me on how he was doing. I was very thankful Krystene was available to care for my cat during a family emergency. I would definitely use Krystene again!”

“Bryan was incredibly generous with his extra support navigating the needs us of both Millie (the dog) and my family. Millie is an old dog with diabetes who needs shots twice a day, and I have no doubts that Millie was in great hands the entire time she was with Bryan and his family. I am so grateful and will absolutely reach out to him again when we need someone to look after Millie.”

“Erin did great with my anxious Aussie raised in quarantine! He had tons of fun playing with her dog Lani in their giant yard. Erin also sends plenty of updates. My dog has never been boarded before but did really well with her.”

“My dogs had such a great time and were very well cared for. They were so tired when they came home! She sent regular updates and some great pictures and videos. A fantastic stay!”

“Kelly was a great sitter! She had a super positive attitude and we had no issues scheduling times with her. She kept up with us and gave us pictures and updates. Our dogs came back very happy and we could tell they were appreciative of Kelly when they left! Highly recommend and hope to have the chance to use her in the future!”

“David did such a great job with my two pups! We couldn't have asked for anything better, honestly! As soon as we walked into the home with our dogs and they didn't bark, we knew there was something special about David and his ability to communicate with dogs. Our dogs were very calm and didn't have any anxiety as we left. David was very responsive when we texted him any questions or updates on the dogs, and would send us multiple updates each day, along with photos. We will definitely be using David again! ”

“Tori and her family took such great care of our small older dog who has some health issues including med administration needs and occasional pain due to previous cancer. Everything from getting holly to their home (Tori last minute offered to pick Holly Up and this was a godsend because our trip was last minute and we were trying to coordinate many other things) to start her visit to pick up and updates in between were great. Her sons are very gentle and natural animal lovers so that was not any concern even though our dog generally prefers calm environments. I would highly recommend Tori and her family for caring for your pet!”

“Camila and Lino are really great! They’re very responsive and kind. It was so reassuring knowing that my girl was safe and with good people. They really care. I can’t recommend them enough!”

“Tallulah loved her stay with David! We found ourselves in a bit of a schedule bind because of some surprise travel. We are so thankful that David stepped in with great kindness and calm to help make a place for Tallulah and to provide such thoughtful care. She had great fun with David’s pack and we’ll definitely be seeking them out for future stays.”

As always, Ityona took excellent care of our dog! She welcomed her into her new home and made her feel comfortable there. She sent us pictures and updates all throughout the week. We are so lucky to have someone so caring and responsible to leave our sweet dog with when needed. Ash is looking forward to the next time she gets to stay with her :)

Melissa is amazing. She is super attentive to details, provides daily updates via pictures, and provides quality care. Melissa is friendly, helpful, and excellent with communication. We've been fortunate enough to have Melissa take care of our pet during multiple trips and have been more than pleased.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
